Hotel is right on the beach, pool, breakfast area and the rooms are immaculate. Cleaned and changed the sheets and towels everyday and staff were incredibly friendly.

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Woche im Emi Seaside. George ist ein aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der sehr viel Wert auf Gastfreundschaft und persönlichen Austausch legt. Er ist immer verfügbar und sorgt sich sehr um die Anliegen und Wünsche der Gäste. Das Emi verfügt über einen hoteleigenen Strandabschnitt mit Liegen und Schirmen. Bei den Liegen muss man etwas aufpassen, weil die Kopflehne sich beim hinsetzen manchmal einklappt, aber das ist eine Gewöhnungssache. Toll ist, dass man am Strand Snacks und Getränke bestellen kann, welche an den Platz gebracht werden (Danke Stavros!). Am Strand und am Pool gibt’s auch WLAN. Wir hatten ein sehr sauberes Doppelzimmer, welches viel größer war als erwartet - ein großer Koffer und zwei kleine konnten aufgeklappt auf dem Boden liegen, ohne dass man durch diese beeinträchtigt wird. Danke an George und das gesamte Team für den tollen und erholsamen Urlaub.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast is buffet-style with a wide variety and constant replenishment. There are never delays or waiting due to lack of products. A big plus of the hotel is its direct access to the beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas included. If you get tired of the sand, there is also a beautiful deck with a pool, sunbeds, and tables. Whether on the beach or by the pool, there is permanent bar service. But the real golden touch comes from George and his parents. They welcome all guests with warmth and kindness, always attentive to every detail. In case of any unforeseen event, they show great willingness and professional experience in solving problems. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality!

Overall, I enjoyed staying here. It was bit confusing to me to find their parking lot. (It's beside train station). Hope they have another sign for Emi Seaside guest parking with an arrow. The owners (family runs the apartment) were all so friendly, kind and energetic. Only son speaks English but had no problem at all. We had to wait a little bit (5mins?) to be hosted because the owner was a bartender as well, he was making cocktails for other guests. He served us free cold orange juice which was very refreshing in hot weather. At the first glance at our room, it was not what I expected but as I stayed here longer, I really liked it. The property is old but everything looked clean. Also can't complain about the price. The beach in front of the hotel is pretty good too.

We really enjoyed our stay with George and his family. Hotel provides everything you need for a fantastic holiday and George really looks after you. The resident only pool , means it stays nice and relaxed. Really big rooms, with power shower and big comfortable beds

Wir waren nur 3 Tage hier und der Abschied fiel uns schwer. Hier wären wir gerne länger geblieben. Die Hotelbesitzer sind so wahnsinnig bemüht und herzlich, dass man sich augenblicklich in das Hotel verliebt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und nett. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls toll. Vom gepflegten Pool aus, ist es nur Katzensprung zum Privatstrand. Wir haben uns hier unglaublich wohl gefühlt.

Great private beach, comfortable and clean rooms, delicious breakfast and tiropitas, bar access for the pool or the beach. Great place to hang out, also close to the airport, Knossos, and the old city. Would highly recommend.

If you are looking for a good budget option not too far from Heraklion this could suit you well. The place has direct access to a sandy beach and a pool area. A simple breakfast was included in our package. The rooms are a decent size and they were clean. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have blackout curtains for a good night’s sleep. Giorgos was very kind and helpful. He pointed us to some very good dining options in the area and his advice was thorough and accurate. Ammoudara reminds me of a budget Florida beach town: a little crowded, a little disappointing. When booking, I wasn’t aware there would be smokestacks from a coal-fired power plant 3km to the west. To be clear, I never smelled anything, nor did I see them smoking but they were there, and I wish I had known that before I booked. The price is good and place is reasonably close to Heraklion and Knossos, and there are easy transit options into the old town if you prefer to not drive.

The room was nice, clean, and modern. It was wonderful to be so close to the beach. There were many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel proprietor was helpful in arranging transportation as needed.

We had a wonderful experience at Emi Seaside! We felt very welcome, the room was clean and had a nice view of the beach. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious! The location was perfect. Highly, highly recommend staying at Emi Seaside!

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Woche im Emi Seaside. George ist ein aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der sehr viel Wert auf Gastfreundschaft und persönlichen Austausch legt. Er ist immer verfügbar und sorgt sich sehr um die Anliegen und Wünsche der Gäste. Das Emi verfügt über einen hoteleigenen Strandabschnitt mit Liegen und Schirmen. Bei den Liegen muss man etwas aufpassen, weil die Kopflehne sich beim hinsetzen manchmal einklappt, aber das ist eine Gewöhnungssache. Toll ist, dass man am Strand Snacks und Getränke bestellen kann, welche an den Platz gebracht werden (Danke Stavros!). Am Strand und am Pool gibt’s auch WLAN. Wir hatten ein sehr sauberes Doppelzimmer, welches viel größer war als erwartet - ein großer Koffer und zwei kleine konnten aufgeklappt auf dem Boden liegen, ohne dass man durch diese beeinträchtigt wird. Tolle Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern. Unser Apartment war im zweiten Stock, mit dem Aufzug erreichbar, mit Balkon, Meerblick und für griechische Verhältnisse einem recht großen Badezimmer. Die Gastgeber haben bei Problemen oder Anliegen immer gleich reagiert, waren sehr freundlich und herzlich. Volle Empfehlung und gerne wieder.

Hotel Emi was lovely, right on the beach just a few kilometres north of Heraklion. The bed was comfy, breakfast really nice. The manager/owner was very helpful. We enjoyed our two night stay.

Our stay at Emi Seaside Resort was absolutely wonderful – everything was great, but the true highlight were the owners, who are simply the best! We really regret that we found this hotel only for our last night, as we would have loved to stay longer. This place definitely deserves more stars!

An interesting stay, staff seem to be quite intrusive and watch over us as we went about our day. Some confusion was caused as we were frequently asked to pay later for any food/drink items we bought at the hotel, despite asking to pay in the moment to make it easier for our group to determine who payed for what. We found the quiet hours timing to be quite awkward and unreasonable as it restricted our time to talk and enjoy time together in our own room. Other guests seem to enforce this in an aggressive way - even when talking very quietly amongst ourselves at 11pm we would receive knocks and bangs on the door to usher us to be completely silent. Following this, the breakfast hours finished very early so this was difficult for us to make it in time, and it was disappointing that the pool closed so early! I think overall the staff did have good intentions however it did come across as quite micro managey. If you have a young family this place would be great however for a younger group such as ourselves it is not suitable.

The Manager was top notch, we booked last min and was greeted with a drink and asked to wait one moment while the finished getting the room available. Within 5 min we were taken to our room. The staff, location and beach were all so nice we decided to extend our stay an extra day. The Manager once again was able to make arrangements for us to stay in our same room. Will definitely stay here again if we make it back to this Beautiful location.

Georges, sa famille et tous les employés de cet hôtel font un travail remarquable pour leurs clients. La plage devant l'hôtel est agréable et les transats mis à la disposition des clients sont confortables et bien espacés. Les chambres sont spacieuces, propres et globalement confortables. Des arrêts bus sont situés juste à coté de l'hôtel ce qui permet d'aller facilement à Heraklion ou à l'aéroport. Il y a bien quelques petites choses qui pourraient être améliorées mais dans l'ensemble, notre séjour dans cet hôtel a été excellent !

Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast is buffet-style with a wide variety and constant replenishment. There are never delays or waiting due to lack of products. A big plus of the hotel is its direct access to the beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas included. If you get tired of the sand, there is also a beautiful deck with a pool, sunbeds, and tables. Whether on the beach or by the pool, there is permanent bar service. But the real golden touch comes from George and his parents. They welcome all guests with warmth and kindness, always attentive to every detail. In case of any unforeseen event, they show great willingness and professional experience in solving problems. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality!

We had a wonderful short stay at Emi Seaside. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the hosts were extremely kind and attentive. The private stretch of beach was also ideal and we appreciated the swift beach side food delivery. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

An interesting stay, staff seem to be quite intrusive and watch over us as we went about our day. Some confusion was caused as we were frequently asked to pay later for any food/drink items we bought at the hotel, despite asking to pay in the moment to make it easier for our group to determine who payed for what. We found the quiet hours timing to be quite awkward and unreasonable as it restricted our time to talk and enjoy time together in our own room. Other guests seem to enforce this in an aggressive way - even when talking very quietly amongst ourselves at 11pm we would receive knocks and bangs on the door to usher us to be completely silent. Following this, the breakfast hours finished very early so this was difficult for us to make it in time, and it was disappointing that the pool closed so early! I think overall the staff did have good intentions however it did come across as quite micro managey. If you have a young family this place would be great however for a younger group such as ourselves it is not suitable.

Hotel Emi was lovely, right on the beach just a few kilometres north of Heraklion. The bed was comfy, breakfast really nice. The manager/owner was very helpful. We enjoyed our two night stay.

Wonderful stay, great location, with welcoming and helpful hosts. I booked one night for my family, and stayed a couple of nights as a solo traveler, and it was ideal. Great private beach, comfortable and clean rooms, delicious breakfast and tiropitas, bar access for the pool or the beach. Great place to hang out, also close to the airport, Knossos, and the old city. Would highly recommend.

If you are looking for a good budget option not too far from Heraklion this could suit you well. The place has direct access to a sandy beach and a pool area. A simple breakfast was included in our package. The rooms are a decent size and they were clean. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have blackout curtains for a good night’s sleep. Giorgos was very kind and helpful. He pointed us to some very good dining options in the area and his advice was thorough and accurate. Ammoudara reminds me of a budget Florida beach town: a little crowded, a little disappointing. When booking, I wasn’t aware there would be smokestacks from a coal-fired power plant 3km to the west. To be clear, I never smelled anything, nor did I see them smoking but they were there, and I wish I had known that before I booked. The price is good and place is reasonably close to Heraklion and Knossos, and there are easy transit options into the old town if you prefer to not drive.

Nous avons d’ailleurs pris nos propres photos, notamment sous des angles comparables, et la différence est frappante. Au vu de notre expérience, j’ai énormément de mal à comprendre comment cet établissement peut afficher des avis aussi unanimement positifs. Nous avons tenté de trouver une solution amiable. Malgré notre mécontentement et le montant payé, le propriétaire a refusé toute négociation ou remboursement, préférant manifestement conserver quelques centaines d’euros plutôt que de rechercher une solution satisfaisante avec ses clients. À ce niveau de prix, c’est pour moi totalement inacceptable. Personnellement, je me sens trompé par la manière dont cet hôtel est présenté en ligne et par le rapport entre ce qui est vendu et ce que nous avons réellement trouvé sur place. Staff provided excellent experience and were very helpful during our entire stay. Free onsite parking was actually in an adjacent parking lot that the hotel owns. I recommend going directly to the hotel check-in desk first. After check-in you can turn around at the end of their driveway to exit and move to designated spot next to hotel. Staff provided 5-star service.
