The property is very cool - love the structures and natural surroundings. The room was nice though quite small, but did suit our needs. Since there are no sidewalks in Cashiers (at this area) it is a bit risky to walk along the road to get to various places. The TV in our room didn't work consistently, so we went to the lobby to watch Olympic medal match. Love going to the coffee shop next door. Staff was very nice and helpful!

What a gem this hotel was. It was a bit of a lucky find but glad we found it. Rooms were modern but had a rustic vibe. Room was also very spacious with a lot of room to move about. Very nice porch as well with a lovely babbling brook right outside the door. The only drawback was the 2 skylights that let in dawns light at 6am every morning, hence the 3 stars on comfort. We got used to it but it would be nice to have something set up to shade the light. We also liked easy access to extra towels and coffee pods using the lock code to the office reception area. Now the biggest oh yeah, was having a cool craft brewery on property, a short walk next door. No worries on noise, never heard any from it. Great 5 day stay and will do again for sure!!

Beautiful property. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for our anniversary and it was all we could have asked for. The room was clean, check-in and check-out was done completely by phone. The brewery on the property was a short walk away as well as a coffee shop right next door. The bed was extremely comfortable.

We stayed from Sunday, October 15th through Tuesday, October 17th. Our two story accommodation was cozy and comfortable...so nice to have our own refrigerator and micro-wave oven. Showers were great with plenty of instant hot water (temp. was 36 degrees both mornings when we got up). Plenty of parking and easy access to supplies in the office!

This is such a great place. Rooms were very nicely done , comfortable king size bed, amazing shower . Very quiet . Walking distance to several dining options. Common area with fire pit and comfortable chairs. Check in was the easiest I have ever experienced. Great sitting area in the lobby area with gas fire place and a covered front porch with a few rocking chairs. A few cottages on site as well. Staff were so accommodating and very friendly. We will stay here again

My family and I visited the Wells Cashiers for a long weekend. We loved our little cottage and its aesthetic. But even more, we enjoyed walking to Buck's Coffee for coffee & breakfast, and to Whiteside Brewing for dinner. The Village Green is also walkable from the Wells Cashiers. It is located right in the heart of Cashiers and is an easy drive to several local waterfalls, as well as Highlands. The Wells Cashiers also has a great field for throwing football, playing frisbee golf, or playing soccer. We'd go back!

Very cute and nicely renovated small hotel in the heart of Cashiers. Would have easily given five stars if the lobby would have been staffed (saw one employee in four days). Great location next to a brewery and a coffee shop.

Room was very clean and recently updated. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, especially for the price. Very higly recommend this hotel.

It’s an older place that has been remodel beautifully. It is very clean and has a nice lobby. It is very close to shops and restaurants. There are so many great hikes and waterfalls near by. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a pleasing place to stay. It was close to where you might want to go, restaurant, coffee bar and breakfast were all walking distance. It was a nice setting with a little brook right in front of the hotel. Con: The window air conditioner was rather annoying at night. It cycled on and off way too often. It made sleeping difficult.

Beautiful property. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for our anniversary and it was all we could have asked for. The room was clean, check-in and check-out was done completely by phone. The brewery on the property was a short walk away as well as a coffee shop right next door. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Rooms very clean and updated! Cute oasis in the woods! Walking distance to the brewery, coffee shop, and local town! Love the grounds and everything about this property! We will be back!

My family and I visited the Wells Cashiers for a long weekend. We loved our little cottage and its aesthetic. But even more, we enjoyed walking to Buck's Coffee for coffee & breakfast, and to Whiteside Brewing for dinner. The Village Green is also walkable from the Wells Cashiers. It is located right in the heart of Cashiers and is an easy drive to several local waterfalls, as well as Highlands. The Wells Cashiers also has a great field for throwing football, playing frisbee golf, or playing soccer. We'd go back!

The Wells Cashiers also has a great field for throwing football, playing frisbee golf, or playing soccer. We'd go back!

Very cute and nicely renovated small hotel in the heart of Cashiers. Would have easily given five stars if the lobby would have been staffed (saw one employee in four days). Great location next to a brewery and a coffee shop.

The property is very cool - love the structures and natural surroundings. The room was nice though quite small, but did suit our needs. Since there are no sidewalks in Cashiers (at this area) it is a bit risky to walk along the road to get to various places. The TV in our room didn't work consistently, so we went to the lobby to watch Olympic medal match. Love going to the coffee shop next door. Staff was very nice and helpful!

This is such a great place. Rooms were very nicely done , comfortable king size bed, amazing shower . Very quiet . Walking distance to several dining options. Common area with fire pit and comfortable chairs. Check in was the easiest I have ever experienced. Great sitting area in the lobby area with gas fire place and a covered front porch with a few rocking chairs. A few cottages on site as well. Staff were so accommodating and very friendly. We will stay here again

We enjoyed our too short stay at the Wells Hotel. Check in and out were super easy making a very late night arrival no issue. It was right next to a great coffee cafe and so convenient to walk into town

The room was new and clean but the mattress was foam and slept like a hammock. Killed my lower back. The room was relatively small and the layout of the counterspace was uncomfortable. When we checked in, the attendant was nice but not helpful at all. She was there to point me to click on a website to check in and that was it. I will not go back to Wells MOTEL. It's not a hotel, it's a renovated motel.

The room was very small. Pillows too soft.Mattress soft and end of bed would slide if you sat on it. Short stay for one person would be ok. Parking was good. Staff response was good.

What staff? What amenities? I understand the no-touch concept but I didn't see a single staff member and I am still waiting on my bill. Room was very comfortable and modern.
