Hotel An Der Wien

Lovely hotel at the entrance to the Wienerwald — but with Viennese thoughtfulness right at the end of the U4 subway and across from the Hütteldorf train station. Family-run operation. Lavish breakfast. Clean as if the hotel had started operation yesterday. Simply but tastefully appointed rooms. Excellent dining and drinking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. Just two extremely minor quibbles: (1) if you pay in advance, have your receipt ready on your phone: believe it or not, the front desk doesn’t keep very good track of payments! and (2) the soft-cooked eggs are a bit overcooked…but since this is the case in all European accommodations I’ve encountered, I wonder whether this is the result of EU rules? (the same applies to the disappearance of “resche Semmeln”)…

Prima hotel. Iets gedateerd maar ideaal gelegen bij ov

Die Zimmer sind ziemlich runtergekommen. Sehr laut war es. Frühstück Büfett war so lala….aber da war eine sehr nette ältere Dame die sich sofort gekümmert hat, wenn was gefehlt hat. Parkplätze sind viel zu wenig. Im Badezimmer gibt es keine Steckdose und auch keine Möglichkeit mal was hinzuhängen. Betten sind weich und unbequem. Aber dafür war es günstig.

Ein außergewöhnliches tolles Hotel dass man heutzutage wirklich suchen muss. Sehr sehr sauber sehr sehr ordentlich man fühlt sich in der Zeit zurückversetzt. Das Haus strahlt eine Ruhe und Entspannung aus dass man wirklich erleben muss. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist mit so viel Liebe hergerichtet und zubereitet eine wahre Freude in diesem Hotel übernachten zu dürfen. Das Hotel hat sicher einige Jahre schon hinter sich dennoch ist das Inventar die Einrichtung sehr sauber sehr gepflegt und wie vor kurzem erst eingerichtet worden.
