The Morgan Resort Spa & Village

From the time we were picked up from the airport from Devin, it was an amazing experience. He was friendly, made us laugh and very pleasant. We stayed 5 nights and everyone we meet that worked at the resort was extremely helpful, pleasant and friendly. To name some of the people Valerie, Sabrina, Niko, Allia, Ashley, Winston and many more, but I can’t remember their names. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Every item we ordered was delicious. Mahi-mahi, vegetables, fish tacos, the salad with fresh vegetables and fruit and they desserts were just amazing.

The staff and waiters were not friendly. Nothing is included, which was surprising given the cost. The view was amazing

This place has all the potential to be a 5-star … and we really enjoyed our stay but a few small problems left me wishing for a little more. The pool and setting are 10/10 beautiful and clean. We spent 2 full days by the pool, enjoying the afternoon DJ and the oceanfront setting. Most of the staff were friendly, some were not. That was an adjustment … some staff just seemed uninterested, while others were a joy to interact with. The live entertainment at SALT - all the performers were very mellow but they were quality singers and musicians. We were in a junior suite - spacious, beautiful balcony. Problems: 2 of 4 nights the air conditioning stopped working completely, for many hours. Very muggy and uncomfortable to wake up to at 4am. They missed the mark on little details. Lydian at the restaurant is a sweetheart and nails her service. And then, you get to the pool, and Gabriella is fantastic - she’s on it and is just a welcoming beacon every time we come (4th time now)

I had a wonderful stay at the Morgan Resort in St. Maarten and would absolutely return. The hotel itself is beautiful, with well-maintained amenities that made the entire experience feel relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish. One of the highlights for me was the food—especially breakfast. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start each day. The pool area also deserves a special mention. It has such a great vibe—perfectly relaxing while still offering a bit of energy and fun. One afternoon, we even joined a game of bingo by the pool, which was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. If I had one small critique—and I say this lightly—it would be the pool service. It was a bit slow, and there were a few mix-ups with orders. That said, it was easy enough to walk up to the bar and order directly, which ended up being quicker and just as enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic stay with great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and memorable moments. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting St. Maarten!
