All staff were friendly and offered to assist in any way they could if needed. Complimentary bottled water plus disposable plate & utensils. Our room was allocated to suit our needs. Room clean & outdoor areas kept immaculately. Restaurants accessible by walking but a restaurant is on site too. Bbq facilities available. Location is convenient to all Hawkesbury has to offer. We will be returning.

The rooms were spacious, the bathroom modern, clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located to a variety of shopping experiences. Local shops and a large shopping centre. The attached restaurant had very nice meals, and great service.

Motel was on busy road and most noise was from continual motor bikes. No toaster, washing liquid or dishwasher cloth. Bed was very comfy but pillows were dreadful. Bathroom looked new & was well appointed.

The room at the motel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bathroom had a great shower. Conveniently, there was a microwave which was very handy for warming frozen meals so you didn't have to spend a fortune eating out at a restaurant. It was well stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits and complimentary bottles of water.

This is the second time we have stayed here, the staff are absolutely wonderful. The rooms are clean and quiet and the outdoor areas are impeccable. Definitely one to keep on the list.

Table and chairs on balcony outside our room attracted very loud and swearing men which made us feel a little unsafe but says more about their behaviour than the motel. The bed was a very comfy king size. Good linen and towels. Modern bathroom would be even better if floor grout had a deep clean. TV volume was set too low and couldn't be adjusted. Tub chair was so filthy it should be replaced with an easily cleaned laminate & metal to match the other at the desk. Curtain also needs replacing. Other cabinets need moving together. If those changes were made then the room may live up to it's Executive King title. The back of reception door also needs a good scrub.

A two night stay. The reception staff were excellent and helful. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The bathroom a bit small and the corner shower tight. Flaky paint on the bathroom ceiling shows the age of the place. Some road noise at night did not help but tolerable.

Room smelt musty and was noisy. Had asked for a room further away from the road but was told there were no rooms available when clearly there were plenty of available rooms. Desk clerk not very helpful, seemed it would create work for me to change rooms.

Motel was comfortable and clean. Room was quiet as it was away from the road. Checkin was seamless. Staff friendly. We were upgraded to a superior room, but we had a shower over a spa sized bath. We had to climb up 2 steps then down into the bath to shower - for us it felt dangerous as once soap gets on the polished bath surface it is very slippery. Our comfortable sleep was interrupted by noisy patrons leaving early in the morning and they had no clue about courtesy to other guests. This is not a reflection on the motel but it was annoying. A sign/ reminder to guests to respect other guests if planning on leaving early may have an effect. Otherwise stay was enjoyable and we’d stay there again, but we’d just request a normal shower in our room before booking.

Clean but basic motel. Laundry onsite was welcome. Washing powder provided. It would be helpful to have length of wash and drying time available on a poster. Restaurant on site - nice pasta meals. Blackout blinds would be good. Despite a busy area, traffic noise not too bad.

The Colonial Motel is a lovely property with good size, clean rooms. The convenience of walking to nearby dining options was a plus. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again when visiting Richmond.

The rooms were spacious, the bathroom modern, clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located to a variety of shopping experiences. Local shops and a large shopping centre. The attached restaurant had very nice meals, and great service.

The room at the motel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bathroom had a great shower. Conveniently, there was a microwave which was very handy for warming frozen meals so you didn't have to spend a fortune eating out at a restaurant. It was well stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits and complimentary bottles of water.

Arrived tired. Refrigerator turned off, no kettle in room. No restaurant or bar available. Advised a short walk to hotel, no it was a long walk and I returned dry to the room. Drink driving laws so no driving. Food places a long walk - didn’t bother as we were very tired. A small packet of noodles between the 2 of us. Plastic plates and Red Rooster surplus bamboo knife and fork a nice touch to complement the KFC and Maccas nearby. Manager blamed room service for missing items - NO you are the Manager and it is your responsibility to check the “Deluxe Room”. It is under the flight path of Richmond RAAF base and next to a busy main road. The bed was large and comfortable.

The Colonial is a lovely little hotel that i have stayed at a few times now. Room is huge and a nice place to come back to after a long day on your feet to relax. Walking distance to local take away or a short uber ride to town centre for pubs and restaurants.
