Grapetree Bay Hotel and Villas

Stayed in a villa which is just a large room but it is right on the water with a nice patio, two chairs and a table. It was a 1 minute walk to the pool. Hotel is somewhat secluded on the East End, which I thought was good but my wife wanted some activity at night and there was not any. We did stay Sunday-Thursday and there might be more activity on the weekend when the steakhouse restaurant is open. Overall, nice clean rooms, pool is excellent, right on the water but no beach or swimming from the hotel area. Public beach is an easy 10-minute walk.

We had the best room there. Walk out the door and you’re on the beach. Everything was convenient but they don’t have elevators on St. Croix! The personnel were be friendly and aim to please. Good food also.

Room was clean and nice, smelled clean. Food at the Steak house was good both nights. Location is about 30 minutes from Christiansted but the ride views to get there is amazing. Ample parking, nice staff. Would stay here again.

Beautiful very large room which was spotless. Courteous and helpful staff. Great food for several meals, and good music one night. It appears the place is renovating, and hopefully renovations continue and this resort succeeds. We were among only a handful of guests so the resort was nice and quiet, but they’ll need more guests to have the resort succeed. There is not a usable beach, but there are other places close by to enjoy a beach. We were glad to spend 2 nights on the east end of the island (so different from other areas of St. Croix), and we were glad to stay at the Grapetree.
