Tolles Stadthotel. Sehr gut gelegen für Sehenswürdigkeiten und gute Metro Anbindung. Lebendiges Stadtviertel, aber im Zimmer ist es ruhig. Absolut geniales Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Property was ok. We were on the 3rd floor and although there was AC we fought to try and keep it somewhat cool. Warning, there is a bar right below that has seating across from the hotel and they sing very loud off and on all night until 2-3am. If you have small children this might not work well for you. But it was clean and the best part was the rooftop breakfast. I cannot recall the gentleman’s name but he was excellent. Super friendly and eager to help you with your breakfast needs!

Staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast options were good and the rooftop area was nice. Breakfast staff were amazing. Within walking distance to train, coliseum, roman forum, Trevi fountain and Spanish steps.

Charmant hôtel à 10min du Colysée à pieds. Moderne, propre, personnel aimable et serviable. Très agréable rooftop pour le petit déjeuner. Situé au dessus d'un bar étudiants donc par contre assez bruyant tard en soirée.

I was pleasantly surprised by this property. The location is perfect. Staff was very kind and helpful and even accommodated a request to move to a higher floor after the 1st night. Breakfast was very nice. Rooftop bar had terrific selection of American bourbons. Would stay here again. Only ask for next time is to have all the carpets cleaned.. The dirty streets of Rome have transferred to the hallways and rooms.

Nice room and very nice bathroom. The room was very quiet but no view. Roof top bar with nice breakfast and nice view. The staff was very helpful and polite. The front desk is open 24 hours.

This place is marvelous! Stayed for 3 nights and couldn’t be happier with the location, staff and room size. This is also very near and walkable to the Colosseum, Santa Maria Maggiore & Termini Station. There are many restaurants to choose from and they also have a rooftop! I highly recommend this place.

I can only say about the apartment. The apartment was interrible shape. We found dirt and mold everywhere, even in the toilet paper. The staff, while friendly, wasn't able to help us in any way with the apartment. They sent someone to "clean" the apartment after we asked for a relocation, and made it worse, they left stains on the washroom and a moldy toiler paper. This really isn't what you would expect from a 4 star hotel and with the price we payed. The only redeeming thing is the location. Not even the AC had mold and dirt and hard to adjust, no remote or anything to regulate the temperature in degrees, polar vortex or almost off, choose one or the other. Would not recommend, even after engaging Expidia about our terrible experience, hotel management isn't acknowledging (they are gohsting us!) our complaints made after our first night and onwards.

We were actually put into an apartment about 5 minutes walk from the Hotel. The location was excellent and it was a very nice apartment. However the shower was very dirty, with visable mould. Although we did not use the stove top it was also not very clean. The hotel had a 4 star rating. For the reasons stated the apartment was definitely not 4 Star but we still enjoyed our visit.

The staff were so friendly. Hotel is the in Monti area. Vibrant and amazing place. Roman the chef sees to all your needs. 3 minute walk to the Metro! 10 minute walk to the Collisuem. Will definitely stay here again when back in Rome. Comfortable room, very clean and the shower was super. Good soundproofing on the windows and slept well after exploring ‘capitale del mondo’

I am extremely upset and disappointed with my stay at this hotel/apartment. From the moment we checked in, the experience was completely unacceptable. We were never informed that the apartment was several blocks away from the check-in location. I was traveling with elderly parents, and instead of offering any assistance, the staff was unhelpful and dismissive, leaving us to walk with our luggage. When we finally arrived, the apartment was filthy. At 3 PM, a cleaner was still inside swapping out sheets and trying to clean the bathroom, which was in a disgusting state—like something out of a college dorm. This was not the standard of cleanliness or professionalism anyone should expect, especially after check-in time. There were no basic amenities—no coffee maker, no essentials—and the Wi-Fi they advertised simply didn’t work. I raised a complaint about the dirty sheets (which I have photo evidence of), and no one ever came back to fix the issue. This entire experience was embarrassing and uncomfortable, especially when sharing it with others we were traveling with in Rome. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It was a complete mess from start to finish.

Chambre parfaite et propre. Le personnel hyper gentil ! Mais le bar juste en dessous et pas de double vitrage laissait penser que tu etions dans le bar. Il faudrait mettre un double vitrage. Sinon le reste était parfait.

Alt i alt bra. Vi hadde utfordring med air-conditin. Ved innsjekk fikk vi beskjed at vi kunne regulere den fra rommet, men det funket ikke…da vi sa ifra, justere de den fra resepsjonen. Litt tungvint, men eller var alt fint. God hjelp i resepsjonen, veldig god frokost med en utmerket frokostvert! Vi bodde i 2nd floor og det var en del støy utover natten fredag og lørdag fra gaten, der det var et lite torg og folk samlet seg i helgene. Men var forberedt og hadde ørepropper. Rent og fresht. Sentral beliggenhet, gangavstand til Terministasjonen, t-bane og flere severdigheter bl.a Colosseum. Vi hadde fine dager i Roma!

Entire staff was wonderful, especially the chef, Roman. Room was very nice, but the noice level could get a bit loud from the bar next to the hotel. Otherwise, great location and walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and bars.

This hotel is located close to the Cavour metro station one stop from Termini. It was easy to walk my large luggage up the hill from the station to the hotel (even over cobblestone streets). The reception and staff were wonderful and made great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The room I was in was on the first floor and my only gripe was that any talking in the reception echoed up the stairs to the room. I like to sleep late so this disturbed me but other than the the hotel was comfortable, spacious, modern, and clean, with a great shower.

This hotel is located close to the Cavour metro station one stop from Termini. It was easy to walk my large luggage up the hill from the station to the hotel (even over cobblestone streets). The reception and staff were wonderful and made great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The room I was in was on the first floor and my only gripe was that any talking in the reception echoed up the stairs to the room. I like to sleep late so this disturbed me but other than the the hotel was comfortable, spacious, modern, and clean, with a great shower.

La camera non presenta insonorizzazione. Fino alle 2 ho dovuto subirmi gli schiamazzi degli astanti del bar difronte alla finestra. Tralatro la camera era a livello strada, quindi, avevo qualche metro di strada a separarmi dalla discoteca di fronte. Ad aggiungersi allo schiamazzo esterno si e’ aggiunto anche la ventola del bagno che sembrava un B52. Dopo una mezz’oretta di consultazione con la receptionist che non riusciva a mettersi in contatto con il manutentore, ho risolto il problema togliendo l’alimentazione elettrica a tutta la camera. Per concludere la nottata infernale, mi sono una “ristorante” doccia che dopo 5 secondi di acqua calda erogava cubetti di ghiaccio. C’e’ mancato poco che aggiungessi al tutto un infarto. Sicuramente quest’albergo non mi avra’ mai piu’ come cliente.

Nice small design boutique hotel. Well priced and a very positive feeling. Only complaint is there is no storage for clothes and luggage. Design could easily have a set of large drawers under desk instead of a long desk that isn’t even necessary. Also brekafast could be improved. Lastly no water in room or amenities like shampoo etc when we arrived. But I would return!

Design could easily have a set of large drawers under desk instead of a long desk that isn’t even necessary. Also brekafast could be improved. The staff were so friendly. Hotel is the in Monti area. Vibrant and amazing place. Roman the chef sees to all your needs. 3 minute walk to the Metro! 10 minute walk to the Collisuem. Will definitely stay here again when back in Rome. Comfortable room, very clean and the shower was super. Good soundproofing on the windows and slept well after exploring ‘capitale del mondo’

Staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast options were good and the rooftop area was nice. Breakfast staff were amazing. Within walking distance to train, coliseum, roman forum, Trevi fountain and Spanish steps.

I was very disappointed. I thought it listed breakfast included but wasn't. I was told 15 euro each in a message. Then when I went there the woman at the desk told me 25. I said I was told 15. Didn't matter since we looked at what they offered and was not impressed so did not have. We also specifically chose a room for 3. 1 queen and 1 twin. They put us in an apartment 5 min walk away and we had to walk to get more towels plus charged me 210 euros more for 2 extra people. Looked totally different than what I chose on the site. The website says restaurant, cafe/deli. They have none of that. The whole reason we chose this was for the free breakfast, cost, and the look of the room. All we did not receive. On a positive note is was in a great location.

There was one front desk person who was so unfriendly that she’s bringing down the review for all. When I complained about the fact that the clear glass shower stall is literally the middle of the room rather than in the bathroom she was quite rude and kept insisting that it was the room I booked so I should not complain. I explained that I selected that room because it had a king size bed— nowhere on the description is there any mention of the ridiculous shower situation. Other issues that made us uncomfortable were the hard pillows, the very low counter in the bathroom and no hooks for towels. Also , there is a small square with a bar directly across the alley so we had a hard time sleeping most nights with all the noise outside the window. On the plus side, it was a 20-30 minute walk to anywhere we needed to go Rome and the breakfast is excellent.

I am extremely upset and disappointed with my stay at this hotel/apartment. From the moment we checked in, the experience was completely unacceptable. We were never informed that the apartment was several blocks away from the check-in location. I was traveling with elderly parents, and instead of offering any assistance, the staff was unhelpful and dismissive, leaving us to walk with our luggage. When we finally arrived, the apartment was filthy. At 3 PM, a cleaner was still inside swapping out sheets and trying to clean the bathroom, which was in a disgusting state—like something out of a college dorm. This was not the standard of cleanliness or professionalism anyone should expect, especially after check-in time. There were no basic amenities—no coffee maker, no essentials—and the Wi-Fi they advertised simply didn’t work. I raised a complaint about the dirty sheets (which I have photo evidence of), and no one ever came back to fix the issue. This entire experience was embarrassing and uncomfortable, especially when sharing it with others we were traveling with in Rome. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It was a complete mess from start to finish.

Entire staff was wonderful, especially the chef, Roman. Room was very nice, but the noice level could get a bit loud from the bar next to the hotel. Otherwise, great location and walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and bars.

This hotel is located close to the Cavour metro station one stop from Termini. It was easy to walk my large luggage up the hill from the station to the hotel (even over cobblestone streets). The reception and staff were wonderful and made great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The room I was in was on the first floor and my only gripe was that any talking in the reception echoed up the stairs to the room. I like to sleep late so this disturbed me but other than the the hotel was comfortable, spacious, modern, and clean, with a great shower.

Property was ok. We were on the 3rd floor and although there was AC we fought to try and keep it somewhat cool. Warning, there is a bar right below that has seating across from the hotel and they sing very loud off and on all night until 2-3am. If you have small children this might not work well for you. But it was clean and the best part was the rooftop breakfast. I cannot recall the gentleman’s name but he was excellent. Super friendly and eager to help you with your breakfast needs!

When I arrived, I found out that my room was actually in a separate apartment building. I had to check in at one location and then take my luggage to another building, which was confusing and frustrating after traveling internationally. If you are considering MyTale because you want the hotel experience, I strongly recommend confirming that your room is actually located inside the hotel before booking. Great location and a nice boutique hotel. It’s located a few minutes walk to the Forum and Colosseum. There’s some excellent restaurants nearby, the piazza outside is a local nighttime spot and the transit station is 100m away, making access to anywhere in Rome simple. Good base to explore Rome on foot and if you’d like us you will do 25,000 steps a day.
