The Alamite Hotel is fabulous! The rooms are beautifully decorated. The rooftop lounge was a nice way to unwind after a long day of travel. I will be back to stay!

Great hotel in a great location. We got 2 waters each day in our room which is great! Super close to UA! Great gym. Walking distance to all the restaurants Nice rooftop bar as well

I didn’t like the lack of amenities. I hate that I didn’t check about them having no pool, no continental breakfast. Not all parking is free. Next time I will stay at embassy suites across the streets with better amenities

Beautiful hotel in a great location downtown. Easy to walk to dining, shopping and the river. Both bars (lobby and rooftop) were very cool and staff super friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

Very nice location! Close to many shopping and dining areas. Close to amphitheater as well. Unfortunately, hair (obviously not ours) found in one of the beds. Also, no vending available. So, when coming in late from concert, no food or drink to purchase as restaurant closed as well. DoorDashed so not terrible issue but a soda machine would have been nice!

The Alamite is a beautiful hotel in a convenient location. My experience was jaded by the sub par housekeeping. First day they made the bed and did nothing else. We didn’t receive more coffee, creamer or even a clean mug. They left the dirty mug from that morning. Second day they didn’t even come at all. We received a bag on our door of one set of towels and some creamer. Housekeeping manager blamed it on us for not leaving our room early enough in the day. Note: when we returned to our room at 3:30 pm after being gone for 4 hours, they were still cleaning rooms on our floor. Just overall a tad disappointed at the service for such an expensive hotel.

Ice water by the entrance was a very nice welcoming gesture since it was so hot outside. Variety of tea, coffee, and sparkle in hospitality station was very nice. Very clean room!! Love everything!

I’m BIG on cleanliness. LOVED the decor, area, staff but the bathroom left more to be desired. Broken shelf, long black hairs all around the bathroom, floor poorly vacuumed, trash still in the can. If I weren’t so tired I would have gone back downstairs to the front desk, but a review will motivate a management team more than anything.

Very nice new hotel. Staff was friendly and professional. Hotel was clean and stylish. Main problem is there are rooms under the rooftop bar. If you are not planning to be up late at night this will be as unpleaset for you as it was for me. I asked shortly after checking to be relocated but was told there was no other rooms available and that they were fully booked. It’s unfortunate bc I likely would’ve booked there again, but I will not take the risk of drawing the short straw again.

The hotel was wonderful. However, there wasn't a do not disturb sign, as we thought this odd. The staff tried to just walk in 3 separate times, only announcing themselves 1 of the times. We should have asked about it, also they should have asked if we had a sign. That part of it was unprofessional. However, the hotel is beautiful, lots of amenities, and a great location. Just prefer they had given us the tools to communicate with staff better.

Arrived with absolutely no help parking or bringing in bags. We dealt with that fine. Then morning No 1 - We were “woken up” at 8 am with a blaring fire alarm. Scary. Jumped out of bed to get dressed and leave. It stopped. We relaxed. It happened 5-6 more times. we called front desk after 2nd time and told “someone testing them alarm system”. Really? That early in morning? I told them we needed something done - like a discount or free breakfast. The woman at desk agreed with me. Nothing done! Never heard back. And our bill had no discounts. This place is owned by a big Corp that has NO interest in Customer Service!!

I showed up for my reservation, which was prepaid, and upon check-in, I was advised that the hotel had overbooked and that they did not have a room available. Shame on them and shame on expedia as my wife and I were moved down the road to a roach hotel. I am livid!!!!! And want my money back in my account stat!

Great stay from start to finish. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful! They were incredible!! Champagne at check in was a treat and they gave us great recommendations around town. The room was nice and clean and we enjoyed the rooftop bar. The bathroom toiletries (shampoo ect) smelled great. Would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we pulled into valet, to check in and beyond, everything was wonderful! The staff, the beautiful interior, the vibe, the rooms, the bathroom, I could go on! We will definitely be staying there again! There for a college visit, and the lovely woman at check in was so fun and engaging. We will be booking there every time we visit our daughter at college!

I’ve stayed here before and enjoyed it but this stay left a bit to be desired. My biggest complaint was the fire alarm that required all guests to vacate the hotel. Not that the alarm went off but after the fire department showed up and cleared the issue, we were never given a reason or curtesy of an explanation. After all, it was at night, I was in bed asleep), I saw a few guests who had obviously just been in the shower… Even as we went back in, the staff were effectively mute. Oh well. My other disappointment (a minor one), was about the coffee that was supposed to provided in the morning. It was like warm, brown tasteless, water. I don’t understand why this is so hard for a quality hotel to do? Even when I decided to just order an espresso at the bar (that was opened and had a machine), I got what was nothing more than a glorified nespresso. It’s not that issues won’t come up, it’s how you respond that can make a difference. This trip was a disappointment.

Came in for Alabama Orientation with my son. The staff at the front desk, valet, and especially the bellman were memorably wonderful and friendly. The decor was is darling and the rooms were nice and well appointed. Loved our stay there!

I would 10/10 recommend the Alamite. We came down for Bama bound orientation. The hotel was fabolous and within walkimg distance to so msny great restaurants..it was a 7 min drive to the University of Alabama .

Third time staying at The Alamite and it remains one of my favorite hotels anywhere. The staff is friendly and accommodating, warm and professional. I love the decor and proximity to UA and things to do downtown. Will definitely be back!

This hotel was amazing! Absolutely beautiful with excellent customer service. Food on rooftop bar was beyond our expectations. We parked on the street for free with a one minute walk. Great shopping and dining right at your doorstep. I love this hotel! Can’t say enough great things!

Very nice location! Close to many shopping and dining areas. Close to amphitheater as well. Unfortunately, hair (obviously not ours) found in one of the beds. Also, no vending available. So, when coming in late from concert, no food or drink to purchase as restaurant closed as well. DoorDashed so not terrible issue but a soda machine would have been nice!

Beautiful hotel in a great location downtown. Easy to walk to dining, shopping and the river. Both bars (lobby and rooftop) were very cool and staff super friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve stayed here before and enjoyed it but this stay left a bit to be desired. My biggest complaint was the fire alarm that required all guests to vacate the hotel. Not that the alarm went off but after the fire department showed up and cleared the issue, we were never given a reason or curtesy of an explanation. After all, it was at night, I was in bed asleep), I saw a few guests who had obviously just been in the shower… Even as we went back in, the staff were effectively mute. Oh well. My other disappointment (a minor one), was about the coffee that was supposed to provided in the morning. It was like warm, brown tasteless, water. I don’t understand why this is so hard for a quality hotel to do? Even when I decided to just order an espresso at the bar (that was opened and had a machine), I got what was nothing more than a glorified nespresso. It’s not that issues won’t come up, it’s how you respond that can make a difference. This trip was a disappointment.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! I had a major issue with my rental car and the front staff stayed with me until it was resolved! They definitely earned my loyalty and my return business!

The hotel is very well maintained with a nice rooftop bar/restaurant. You can see Bryant Denny from there as well as downtown Tuscaloosa. Location was great for downtown Tuscaloosa, you can easily walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was welcoming and nice. Answered our questions with a lot of info. Has valet parking but we didn't need it for a June visit. Short drive to UofA campus, but probably not walkable.
