This modest hotel right on the edge of Old Town packs a lot of value! My room was charming and spacious, with robust a/c and even a (noisy) fridge. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Juste, who was invaluable when I needed to rebook a flight. There is no elevator, but staff were happy to bring my suitcase upstairs for me. My room had twin beds--very comfortable.

Juste à côté de la porte de l'Aurore avec un excellent restaurant pas cher en face. C'est un quartier relativement excentré où il est plus facile de garer la voiture. Pour un quatre étoiles, le mobilier paraît cependant un peu trop usé ou abimé.

Non ho capito il cambio degli asciugamani abbastanza casuale. (All'arrivo un asciugamano di un precedente cliente era appeso dietro la porta del bagno e lì è rimasto fino alla mia partenza. Giustificabile in parte perché rimaneva nascosto con porta aperta.) Il make-up della stanza solo a richiesta immagino. Un hôtel bien placé, au bord de la vieille ville Pas de parking, mais facile de se garer pas trop loin (et pas trop cher car pas en plein centre). Personnel très sympathique Je n’ai pas mis le maximum car quelques points sont encore à revoir (odeur nauséabonde dans la douche, créneau horaire pour le PDJ un peu limité, sur-matelas dépassant de 30cm du lit, lit pas fait une journée) Ce ne sont que de petites choses, mais pour un hôtel de ce standing, c’est un peu dommage

While the location was good, our room was not. Based on the other reviews, it seems like we got the worst room in the place. We walked in and it smelled like mold/musk with a mix of incense. I don’t know if it was the carpet or what The smell hits you like a truck and we tried to spend as little time possible in there as it made us feel sick. Also there was a loud buzzing that would go off every 60 seconds all day/ all night. Wouldn’t come back here but had no choice but to stay as the marathon was on and everything else was booked up …

Shabbish… the room had the old place smell. Old carpet, old furniture. Bedding was clean. The Garbage bag looked suspicious as if it was emptied after previous guests but not replaced. The location is good.

Good location, very easy to get by and visit the most popular places. Hotel itself is quite nice and clean. One small caveat - some rooms face main street, so it might get a bit noisy if you sleep with an open window.

Horrible. Stay away. We were in the room 103. Not clean and smelled like sewage. The bathroom smelled like urine. There was NO cleaning service. We had to go ask for clean towels. We asked to call the taxi for the airport. Our flight was at 6 am. There was NO taxi. Imagine you are on the street at night in a foreign city with no phone service. We had to go through stress and panic. We deserve a refund!

Our room is very nice, with a comfortable bed. The air conditioning works great! But one of the best features is the concierge, Laura. She has been a delight to talk with and has made our stay extra special.

This modest hotel right on the edge of Old Town packs a lot of value! My room was charming and spacious, with robust a/c and even a (noisy) fridge. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Juste, who was invaluable when I needed to rebook a flight. There is no elevator, but staff were happy to bring my suitcase upstairs for me. My room had twin beds--very comfortable.

Very friendly receptionist. Nice atmosphere. Handy for old town square and bus station. Also Railway station. If they could improve anything, it would maybe be a little more selection on the breakfast buffet. I will definitely stay again. As a regular traveller, a refreshing change to staying in a large chain hotel.

Horrible. Stay away. We were in the room 103. Not clean and smelled like sewage. The bathroom smelled like urine. There was NO cleaning service. We had to go ask for clean towels. We asked to call the taxi for the airport. Our flight was at 6 am. There was NO taxi. Imagine you are on the street at night in a foreign city with no phone service. We had to go through stress and panic. We deserve a refund!

Juste à côté de la porte de l'Aurore avec un excellent restaurant pas cher en face. C'est un quartier relativement excentré où il est plus facile de garer la voiture. Pour un quatre étoiles, le mobilier paraît cependant un peu trop usé ou abimé.

It was a lovely old building that that been beautifully refurbished. The facilities were good and the hot breakfasts individually prepared, in addition to a cold buffet. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Rooms are serviced in the afternoons. Opposite the hotel is a nice restaurant, which is very convenient and the No 88 bus direct from the airport stops right outside! The hotel is situated very close to the Gate of Dawn which leads to the old city so is perfectly placed for sightseeing. However the old buildings immediately next door to the hotel are in need of restoration.

The hotel is located in Old Town, and is very close to the Central Market, Maxima grocery store, bus & train station. My room stay didn't include breakfast but the hot water kettle and refrigerator were just what I wanted to make my own breakfast & meals. I would stay here again.

Hotel is clean and tidy, and clearly tries to be quirky boutique style. Bedrooms fairly spacious and nice clean bathroom with large walk in shower. Breakfast is adequate but nothing special. Fairly restricted choice of food and drink - not particularly inspiring. Location is good, about 8 mins walk from railway station (regular trains to the airport, which only take 7 mins) and less than 100 metres walk from The Gates of Dawn - the entrance to the old town - plenty to see, plus many restaurants and cafes.
