Skyline Hotel & Waterpark

Basic, clean room, comfortable bed, walkway to water park. Water temperature at the park is on a cool side, but it is clean and well-maintained. Pool towels, bottled water and parking included in resort fees. Limited parking at the hotel but can park across the street at Hard Rock. No indoor access to that parking garage or the Sheraton/Hard Rock complex though.

The skyline hotel only has one elevator, long wait if you have a larger vehicle parking is horrible. No elevator going to the waterpark extremely hot in the walkway it was so hot you could pass out not a place that I would ever stay again

The pedestrian bridge connects the hotel to the waterpark. Great for winter time

A good weekend stay for your family , very family friendly accessible to many areas and very easy 5 min walk to Clifton Hill, very clean rooms.

This is an older property but cleaned well in common areas. The location is convenient. Parking is limited onsite for busy weekends but lots of parking around. The property and proximity to the water park cannot be beat. The walls are paper thin and noise carries. The beds and pillows are not comfortable so a good night sleep is hard on your back and neck. The coffee makers are not cleaned and in room Coffee is terrible (always hopeful). Hard to get someone at the front desk to pick up unless you walk down. The courtyard idea are lovely for parents with kids that need space to run around and burn some energy. They even play a movie in the courtyard at nights. Overall a decent first experience. Not sure if I will be back in a hurry but the waterpark stay and enjoy is hard to beat. The access to the waterpark with passes are well worth it and parking extends far into the next day. A good perk.

Exactly as advertised. Keep in mind it's a Family hotel so it may be a little more noisy as other typical hotels. Check in and check out though mobile app very quick and easy. Text message assistance to make sure your on your way or if you need anything was really appreciate while running late for our check in. Parking spots were available at any time of the day. Overall it was perfect and walking distance of all the attractions.

The hotel as OK. It was a good value. This is a strange building. 3 stories with indoor courtyards. As I was in courtyard 4 four, top floor, I had a long walk from the front desk and at peak times the slow single elevator was unusable because of volume. I can't help but think that this hotel footprint would be so much better used in a modern multi-story hotel. But I am sure the owners know that.

There is a lot to like here. Location is prime. Whether you’re looking for elegant dining or feeding on a budget a five minute drive and you’ll find either. Not to mention but I will the pricier Clifton Hill choices. Desk staff, very friendly cleaning staff, kept the room tidy and comfortable. Wifi was fast and no complaints from the little gamers. Bundled the room with water park passes which happens to be a safe walk though the building. This fine place ticks all the boxes.

Great for families, stayed in the bunk bed with queen bed room and the kids loved it. Nightly movies in the courtyard was great as well. Lots of stairs!!! One elevator for the whole place, try not to rely on the elevator! Bridge to water park was great as well, especially with little kids. I would stay here again!

The room was dirty. Toothpaste on the wall and mirror. Stained sheets and pillows. Mattress were also stained and must have been from the day they opened.

The sheets in our room were not changed. There was visible marks on the upper bunk pillow case and sheets. So parents be warned. We called and asked for new sheets then went to the pool. After swimming and dinner and fireworks, we went to our room and found no clean pillow cases only sheets. After not being able to reach anyone, we used our clothing to cover the pillows. Ugh.

Door to room did not work right, always a fight to open to gain access to room. No sneaking out if kids are asleep. Shocked to find a broken razor blade on the floor in middle of night. Very Lucky no one had been cut on this.

This was a terrible experience, the bed sheets were torn, stained pillow case , the towels were old, bed skirt were stained , rusty ac , that made strange loud sound all night , reported it and was told that it will be fixed , the next day we were switched out to another room.the carpet was worn out. The entire hotel had just one small microwave, and it was dirty. The only thing good about the location was the maid services , they were friendly and helpful.The rooms were as expensive as Sheraton, and I expected better , at least proer towels and not torn bedsheets! . Skyline , you need to do better!

I am very satisfied with the location of the hotel. The room is clean and tidy. However, there is a smell in the corridor and courtyard that is very unpleasant. In addition, the sound insulation of the room is very poor.

Drapes were filthy. Carpet stained and disgusting. Stairs on carpet worn down to the step. Overall cleanliness of the building is zero

Black mold in the shower tile grout. Carpet stains thru out. Chair had stains. Room telephone didn’t work. Couple of the lamps didnt work. Empty water bottles and caps left behind on the floor from previous guests. Bathroom fan didnt work. Room didnt have a microwave. (Only 1 microwave at the ice machine for the whole floor, which was filthy.) 2/4 beds were made Facility had marijuana smell thru out 24/7 Would not recommend nor stay here again. Best part of the stay was checking out.

The room had no window to look outside at all. It was very warm and couldn’t cool it down. It’s quite old and a bit run down. Checking in was really crazy. Huge long lineups and only a couple of small Parking spots to unload and check in. The staff were amazing though.

From check-in to checkout, our stay at Skyline was disappointing. The location is excellent—walking distance to everything we wanted to do—and most of the staff were friendly, doing their best despite the chaos. Parking was convenient: we arrived around 11am, snagged a great spot, and were able to register our license plate for the day, which was a nice perk while we explored. Check-in, however, was a headache. Rooms aren’t guaranteed until 4pm, but ours wasn’t ready until nearly 5:30. We were told to text to see if it was ready, but after sending a message at 4pm and getting no reply, we returned 40 minutes later with exhausted kids—only to be told it would be another 20 minutes. Even then, I had to wait an extra 10–15 minutes for the key. When we finally got in, the bunk beds weren’t fully made—top sheets were just folded at the end. After such a long wait, having to make beds on vacation was frustrating. The bunk setup was great for our family of five, but the beds themselves were awful: sagging toward the middle so you roll into each other, and pillows with no support. My back hasn’t been this sore in ages. The room was also rundown—stained carpets, chipped furniture, grimy walls—and nothing like the online photos. We didn’t use the waterpark, just needed a place to sleep, which it technically provided. But between the poor beds, long check-in, and worn condition, I wouldn’t return unless major upgrades are made.

Rooms were mediocre. Small for how many people it ‘fits’ pictures make it look a lot nicer, newer and bigger than it is. Very strict on how many towels per room.

Location was great, close to Clifton Hill and waterpark was cool. Hotel room looks out onto a shared space that got a little noisy but wasn’t terrible. Everything was clean but super outdated and a few tv channels, which was ok since we only used the room to sleep. Overall hotel was okay, not worth the $450/night rate but good location

Great property, clean room. A little busy but overall the staff were nice. Would have appreciated a nicer TV and more charging options. The outlets are behind the furniture which is annoying. It wouldn't cost much for them to upgrade to charging stations for convenience. The TVs are from the 2000s

The room was extremely hot. When I called the front desk they explained that they either have hear or AC and the heat is on at this time of year. No way to adjust it per individual room. They brought us a plug in fan, which helped a little.... But the room was still very warm.

The motel was very clean. My only complaint is that the room faces into the courtyard were people are walking by and i had to keep the blackout drapes shut and the room was very dark.

We completed online “pre-check-in” before arrival, but still waited over 2 hours to check in. Staff gave no acknowledgment or apology for the long wait. The check-in area was disorganized, with guests crowding the only elevator due to lack of space. Once we got to the desk, we were just handed a key—no info about amenities, Waterpark hours, or hotel details. Our room was large but had stains on the furniture and a sticky orange mess on carpet near the mini fridge, which barely stayed cool. Perishables and baby milk couldn’t be stored safely. I found out only at checkout that a microwave was available on our floor—this would’ve helped a lot with a baby. Noise was constant. Felt like we were sleeping in traffic. It was impossible to sleep—every toilet flush, tap from neighbouring rooms and hallway conversation was clearly heard until 3 a.m. The “walkway to Waterpark” that connects to other hotels and closer to get to the Falls in the rain is not available less you have paid for the Waterpark , you have to go outside and walk around the building. Hotel parking lot was awful tight spots barely fit a regular car. We had to use the casino lot and haul luggage through a busy garage and across the main road with small kids to get back to the hotel. The there were only 4 drop off parking spots and not convenient to wait for a space. Overall, not family-friendly or worth the hassle.

Beds/mattresses was broken on arrival. on discussing this concern with the manager (Raj), he immediately moved us into a room with new beds and removed parking fee from our bill... resulting in... happy customers :)

The staff was incredible. Thanks to everyone and especially Ian for taking care of all our needs and offering 5* service. Loved it !

- Staff was rude after our keys didn't work after being reprogramed twice - room had literally zero accessible power outlets - fan on heater was so loud it would wake us up every 30 mins - extremely dated

The staff was friendly and assisted us with our room and the noise on our floor. The hotel is in the best location and easy to walk to many of the activities

I was changing my clothes in the room and an unexpected thing happened. The male house keeper just open my door, and I am a female. I have no idea why the front desk did not notify the house keeper that the customer still not checked out, normally the house keeper only comes after the customer check out. And we already notified the from desk we will do the late check out at 3pm.

Staff were nice rooms are good. Courtyard is a neat place to sit and having movie in the evening is pretty cool

I called down for 2 extra pillows at 10pm and it took them an hour and a half to bring them!

The location was perfect for our needs. However we went to check in a little after 4 (check in time) and there were no rooms available that were cleaned. We were directed to give them a call an hour later to see if it was ready instead of receiving a text or call from them. We did not check in until 6pm. We had an event to go to so it was a little disappointing that none of us had the opportunity to shower and get ready in the room. When we got to the room there was a nasty smell but the rooms itself looked decently clean. definitely just an older building but the inconvenience of the check in process was my biggest critique. however we did see a lot of people getting rooms on time so we were just the unfortunate ones.

I wasn’t very happy with the parking situation. I was circling around to find parking as the front desk never informed us that the over flow parking was across the street in the parking garage. I sent my son in to ask and they just told him across the street so we parked in the lot directly across and had to pay again. When I went in and spoke to the front desk, the lady was very rude and just said that their signage out in front of the hotel. I informed her that it was dark out now and I could not see the signage and just said maybe going forward they should inform People when they check in about the parking and also let them know. It’s the garage and not the lot and when I informed her that I did have to pay again she said she wouldn’t charge me for that night at the hotel, which was Friday night the 6th but in fact, she charged me double so I originally paid when I checked in $85 and then I was also charged another $20. I will not be recommending this hotel to family and friends. We had a baseball team that was staying there and we were sitting in a courtyard waiting for our boys to come back and security demanded us to leave the courtyards because they were closed at 10 when there was four mothers sitting chatting very quietly amongst ourselves, waiting for our boys to come in where other families were running around yelling screaming, slamming doors and we were the ones that asked to leave. Your staff needs to work on their hospitality.

Staff was prompt to fix the toilet and television. Carpets in the hotel could be replaced. Court yard had a move for families. Walking distance to the Falls and Clifton Hill. Amazing price. Off site park was $5 over night. On site was $23. Very safe area! Overall price and location was a winner.

It was quite difficult to get to the hotel from the parking, signs led us to different areas. Other than that the hotel was gorgeous and definitely in ideal place to be close to the falls.

Is safe and easy to move around, dining option is bad the Perkins restaurant they suggested is bad the service is the worse, waitress had an attitude.

Food buffet in Sheraton was awesome Bed was nothing special but not bad Rooms have carpet and smell closed in, However they put a movie in little lobbies for kids which os nice

Service and staff were great. Room was clean. Beds were great. Inconvenien not having a bathroom in the lobby area. The restaurant bathroom was gross not clsan and toliets didnt flush.

Overall it was enjoyable stay. It was outing with the family and kids enjoyed the waterpark and it was convenient to walk to the waterpark with connecting bridge from the hotel. Rooms and furnishings could get updates as they are a bit old and you could tell by the conditions but we only stayed in the room to wind down during the night and to have a proper bath so it wasn't much of an issue. We opted to go out for the meals as there is only one option in the hotel but not necessarily a concern either since Clifton Hill and bunch of restaurants are in a walking distance. We stayed during the weekdays so there was parking available at the hotel, you can also park in the main parking garage which we did after checking out from the hotel. As per the hotel staff the paid parking allows you to park until midnight the day of the checkout.

Our room smelled like a dirty diaper. The sink was clogged, the toilet barely flushed and if they would clean the exhaust fan in the bathroom,m it might help with the smell. The dirt/dust on the bathroom fan was so thick, it's useless. It hasn't been cleaned in years. We hadn't been back here in 10 years and boy has it went downhill. It was a huge waste of money. And don't even get me started with how back the perkins food was.

Hair Dryer doesn’t work. Bed Mattress not comfortable. No breakfast. Washroom is tight .. feels like i stayed in Motel ..

No breakfast at the facility, but there was a diner close by. The place is dated; there was no shampoo, body wash, or conditioner. I asked the front desk, and they provided me with small bars of soap. The waterpark was decent, my kids had fun.
