We had a really nice stay. Nicole was a perfect host. Our room had a really good bed and we enjoyed our breakfast with a view on the mountains. All facilities present both in the room itself and in the central kitchen en living room. Car parking very close to the room.

From the moment we arrived at Rocky Mountain View BNB, we knew we had discovered a true oasis. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, the property offers breathtaking panoramic views in every direction—sunsets and sunrises included. The manager, Dennis, is not only an incredible host but also a professionally trained chef. Each breakfast was made to order, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We were also lucky enough to enjoy two dinners on-site, and both were phenomenal- better than restaurant-quality meals in the comfort of the BNB. Our room was fantastic, featuring an extremely comfortable king-sized bed, a convenient kitchenette, and even a private hot tub. The highlight, though, was our private patio with sweeping views of the mountains. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up redesigning our trip to spend more time just soaking in the scenery from the property. The location is perfect: just 10 minutes from William A. Switzer Provincial Park, where we found great hikes, quiet lakes, and plenty of opportunities to swim. It’s also only 10 minutes from Hinton, which has shops, restaurants, and convenient amenities like Safeway, Walmart, and affordable gas—while still being an easy drive to Jasper National Park (20 minutes from the park entrance and about 45+ minutes from Jasper town). . We truly can’t imagine a better place to stay in the Northern Rockies. If you’re visiting Jasper or the surrounding area, Rocky Mountain View BNB is an absolute gem.

All utensils including a beautiful bright apron! Entrance room is spacious and allows store all luggage. Comfy beds - softer in the master bedroom, firmer in the upstairs rooms.Parking for 3 cars, beautiful lawns around the cabin with the view of the valley. We definitely recommend it to families and groups of adults.

Clean room and free parking. Clear instructions from Nicole for check-in. Good but simple breakfast (fruit, muffins, cookies, céréal, orange juice, tea/coffee etc) and free water bottle. A remote location. Too bad the mattress was uncomfortable, this really needs to be renewed.

This property really impressed. Nicole (property manager) was incredibly friendly and kind, calling us ahead of time and making sure that we had everything we need. She also accommodated our later arrival, which was much appreciated. It was clean and quiet. There were other guests but we hardly knew it, except for breakfast time the next morning, where the communal kitchen/dining was shared between all guests. It is nice that the property is fenced in and allows for pets (we did not bring our dog, but definitely a plus for those travelling with pets). The view from the patio was amazing, and waking up to the mountain view was peaceful and serene. Loved our stay, and would definitely come back!

It is isolated, but not to Hinton. Pets welcome, other couples had dogs with them. Great welcome over and above on service and friendliness. Wonderful location, stunning views.

So glad we found this beautiful home-from-home. Nothing was too much trouble for host Denis who served up the most amazing breakfast along with advice about the local area. The room was beautiful and had everything you'd need as well as access to a common area, gorgous gardens with benches and firepits. Look out for the resident bluejays at breakfast-time!

Our stay at the Rocky Mountain View B & B was lovely. The room was decorated so beautifully, everything was so clean and new. The view was amazing. Love the special touches like the Adirondack chairs to sit in on the deck and the table to sit and eat breakfast on the deck, loved the outdoor fire pits. Nicole the host was so nice, warm, and welcoming. The variety of foods available for breakfast from the bakery & ability to make your own toast, eggs, etc was so lovely. I would definitely recommend to friends and hope to come back soon! This was my best B & B experience to date. Cons: slow WiFi (who cares on vacation though!) & the rising sun coming in through cracks in the blinds, but otherwise everything was so amazing, comfortable and just done so nicely.

Nor pet friendly. They had a dog that pooped every where you were to walk! The bathtub had hair all on it and the shampoo, cond and soap was empty in the bathtub...not a great thing!

Empty beer cans on the counter in the morning when we were preparing breakfast). Denis was very helpful. New owners and management as of May 2024, so I wouldn't rely heavily on reviews prior to that...

The area was exquisite and the host Dennis made us feel so comfortable. The room was sparkling clean and the bed huge and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was complementary made by Dennis to order, and he is an excellent cook . We will definitely be back, it is about an hour outside of Jasper, but worth the drive.

This cabin was one of the highlights of our trip. Set in the woods with mountain views. We were welcomed by Dennis the caretaker/chef. Very friendly and accommodating. The cabin was so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the Northern Lights were a bonus. Met some wonderful people also traveling through and it was just so wonderful. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

Property is nothing like the photo on the website. It was unkempt, with junk both in the carport and the yard. The yard was overgrown. Room smelled. Remains of a previous guest’s pizza in the mini-fridge. We were told to run the shower “for a little while” as the sulfur in the well water could smell like rotten eggs. We let the shower and faucet run for 40 minutes which made the entire room stink like rotten eggs. We couldn't shower or brush our teeth. Once the entire room stunk unbearably we left

We had a lovely stay at this cozy cabin. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast service was thoughtful and delicious. Denis, our Host, was friendly and attentive. He cooked up a good daily hot breakfast. Nice to sit with other travelers and visit. Setting is mountaintop, so enjoyed time out on the private deck for lunch or Happy Hour. Our room, #6 had an electric fireplace, kitchenette, bathroom and a comfy king bed. It was 45 minutes away from Jasper so plan accordingly. It is quiet and peaceful and relaxing. Bonus: Denis’ little sweet dog, Marlow, greets you and lives on the property. New owner, Adam has a great property that we would come back to again. Thanks!

It was 45 minutes away from Jasper so plan accordingly. It is quiet and peaceful and relaxing. Bonus: Denis’ little sweet dog, Marlow, greets you and lives on the property. New owner, Adam has a great property that we would come back to again. Thanks!

We didn't mind the gravel road to the property, but having a mini fridge with a broken door, having difficulties to open and close the door to the patio, and the 10 cm. rip on our bed sheet didn't make a positive impression. The view is amazing but we think the price of $380/night doesn't make too much sense.

Our stay at the Rocky Mountain View B & B was lovely. The room was decorated so beautifully, everything was so clean and new. The view was amazing. Love the special touches like the Adirondack chairs to sit in on the deck and the table to sit and eat breakfast on the deck, loved the outdoor fire pits. Nicole the host was so nice, warm, and welcoming. The variety of foods available for breakfast from the bakery & ability to make your own toast, eggs, etc was so lovely. I would definitely recommend to friends and hope to come back soon! This was my best B & B experience to date. Cons: slow WiFi (who cares on vacation though!) & the rising sun coming in through cracks in the blinds, but otherwise everything was so amazing, comfortable and just done so nicely.

What a fantastic place. The man that runs it is all over the place with his conversations and his energy. He’s also an incredible cook. An incredible host. And very informative about the local attractions. I love staying there. The room was so adorable and perfect. And the view at night is spectacular.

Great communication and reception by our Host, Dennis. Great cook for breakfast options. Highly recommend at least one breakfast on site as the nearby options for meal are practically nil. The view from the second floor is phenomenal. All in all, we would love to stay here again.

This property really impressed. Nicole (property manager) was incredibly friendly and kind, calling us ahead of time and making sure that we had everything we need. She also accommodated our later arrival, which was much appreciated. It was clean and quiet. There were other guests but we hardly knew it, except for breakfast time the next morning, where the communal kitchen/dining was shared between all guests. It is nice that the property is fenced in and allows for pets (we did not bring our dog, but definitely a plus for those travelling with pets). The view from the patio was amazing, and waking up to the mountain view was peaceful and serene. Loved our stay, and would definitely come back!

Amazing place to stay, Denis was a treat to meet and chat with and he also made an excellent breakfast! Roadway to the property needs some love, but there is signage all the way along up to the property so you know you’re on the right path. Thanks for the welcoming stay! See you again 👍

This cabin was one of the highlights of our trip. Set in the woods with mountain views. We were welcomed by Dennis the caretaker/chef. Very friendly and accommodating. The cabin was so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the Northern Lights were a bonus. Met some wonderful people also traveling through and it was just so wonderful. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

The area was exquisite and the host Dennis made us feel so comfortable. The room was sparkling clean and the bed huge and extremely comfortable. The location is great for a quiet view. (Note there are periodic trains that can be heard, but they are not disruptive.) Nicole is a lovely host - friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed our stay as something different to a typical hotel overnight.

This is an absolutely stunning property. Beautiful views of the mountains and the Athabasca river valley rooms and common areas are beautiful the beds are comfortable. And just a short drive to Hinton, Jasper, and William Switzer provincial park.

A beautiful out of the way location. Great skyline/mountain views. Dennis was an exquisite host and chef as we chose to have one of his fabulous 4 course dinners. Morning breakfast was great as well. The only down side was we were on a motorcycle and the area had received a fair amount of rain the day before we arrived that made the drive up the mountain driveway a bit challenging. We made it safely up and the next morning back down with only a small pucker factor!

This place was awesome. We had the cabin for 2 nights and loved it. Denis was a awesome host. Very polite and helping. The cabin was big and comfortable. The views are outstanding. If your planning a weekend in Jasper, consider staying here and drive the 30 minutes. It's a beautiful drive anyways. Don't skip on the breakfast, Denis is an awesome cook. The breakfast alone was worth coming here. The property is very clean and an amazing spot to see the northern lights!

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I feel like I need to share a couple of concerns I had with this property. The pictures online are most likely from the properties original owners. Things were not organized with clutter everywhere. Breakfast was fixed in the kitchen/dining area and was good. I was just frustrated to pay that much money for what I thought was a nice higher end property when in reality it was more of a country property that was dated.

We had a lovely stay in Rocky Mountain BnB, property is located on top of a mountain with scenic views. The host Dennis was super friendly and helpful, and a wonderful cook (the steak was delicious!!). There is plenty of wildlife around the property such as blue jays and ground squirrels, a highlight was watching them feed on the balcony while having breakfast.
