Property is in bad condition. Room was not ready at check in. Waited 20 minutes for cleaning but when I got in room it was still unclean. Water was on floor in bathroom and the roll of toilet paper was laying in the water on floor. TV did not work. Over all room very unclean

There was actual mold on the bathroom ceiling. There was water leaking onto the floor from the ceiling and into the trash. The entire room and bathroom was filthy. Dirt and spider webs were in the corners of the bathroom. There was literal chunks of something dried onto the bedspread. I’m extremely unhappy about this room and that I spent any money on it. I would have been better off sleeping in my car.

I've never seen a hotel room as dirty as this one. The housekeeper was still "cleaning" the room when i arrived. She had the door open, so when i walked in, there was a huge swarm of flies everywhere. Whatever she used to mop the tiled bathroom floor either didnt get rinsed, or she used grease to mop it because it was like walking on slimy ice.

I've never seen a hotel room as dirty as this one. The housekeeper was still "cleaning" the room when i arrived. This room was absolutely filthy. It was very run down. The water coming out to shower was brown. There was not one trashcan in the entiee room or bathroom. The towels stunk and were stained badly. There was a crusty rag in the nightstand drawer. We had to go and buy bleach to clean the bathroom before we would bathe ourselves or our children. My husband stated he seen roaches twice during our two night stay. Upon loading the car at 7:00 am, management stood behind me staring at us for several minutes so I finally asked if he wanted the room keys because he was making me uncomfortable and he said yes. Once I gave them to him and we started backing out, he was entering the room before we were even out of the parking lot. I would rather have doubled what I paid then EVER stay here again! Terrible!

Clerk was friendly and terrific. Property was pretty run down. White towels were dirty or just badly stained. Sheets seemed clean but I did not use the comforter. Floor felt matted and a bit sticky. For the price it wasn’t terrible

This place was absolutely horrible they had no hot water and when we complained the staff told us he would go turn on the water heater! He had shut off the hot water! And when we pulled back the sheets there were ants all over the bed!!! I have picture proof! Staff argued with us and tried to brush it off that it was ok to just brush them off the bed!! And refused to refund us our money!

This motel was not even close to the pictures they show online. The room was full of broken furniture. The bed linens were dirty and smelled like body odor. I can safely say this was the first motel I've ever stayed at that made me want to sleep in my clothes. There was no privacy lock on the inside of the door. It looked like someone had put screws into the door frame to try to barricade the door at of point. This was a last minute booking for an out of town funeral. The only thing this motel had going for it was that it was available. Next time we will drive into mineral wells.

This motel needs to be bulldozed down and build new. It was built in the 50’s and is run down. The backup door locks are broken in rooms 117 and 119. We had to place all of our luggage against the door to help insure our safety. The A/C unit power cord has been cut off and another spliced in with electrical tape. The smoke detector in 119 was held to the ceiling by clear packaging tape (lots of tape). This place is a dump.

Room in no way matches the photos on the website. Daughter walked in and refused to stay stating it looked like a recent murder scene. Property manager was friendly and on site.

Where to start? The key didn't work or so we thought. The door wasn't even shut to the room to begin with. When you enter the room, there are two different sized beds. One of them is a king size bed, and one is a queen size bed on top of a full frame. Every time you sit on either side of the bed, then you almost roll off onto the floor. You have to sleep exactly in the middle of the bed to actually get rest. The lamps did not work. The bathroom was disgusting to include pubic hair on the faucet, dirty toilet, and rusty and filthy tub. There was no hot water. The towels were disgusting and I wouldn't have used them in my barn. One outlet only worked as the other one was clogged with paint. I spend a ton of time outdoors, and would have slept better in 32 degrees on the ground and bathed in a creek.

CROOKS! I was traveling at night through Jacksboro TX and decided to book a room. I stopped at a gas station and opened the Expedia app. I found this was the only hotel available and was 1 mile from my location. There were many rooms available and I booked one. I went to the property, rang the doorbell and one person opened the door. I told him that I had the booking, he replied "no room, sold out". I explained that I just booked through expedia and he kept saying "no room". Then I asked him to cancel the booking, he called his partner (they spoke a foreign language among themselves) and checked the computer. Then he said "computer bad". I kept asking for the cancellation, he kept repeating "computer bad". Then I contacted Expedia in the chat and asked the agent to do the cancellation. I was so tired so I booked another hotel 30' away and started driving, could not stay with the agent. Next day I went to the chat again with Expedia, after a while the agent told me they don't want to refund me because I didn't show up. So I had to call OYO to get the refund. I called them, the agent kept me on hold while she called the property, they told her that I didn't show up and they tried to contact me to know if I was going to take the room. Such liars! I got upset with the agent and finally she told me my last option was calling the property myself, those people that barely speak english and already said I didn't show up. Lesson learned, stay at the property until the cancellation.

I have stayed at this OYO property before. It’s not fancy, but for one night for the reason I was in town - the price was right. Unfortunately this time, due to the weather, there were some pipes that burst which affected the sprinkler systems, etc. So my booking was cancelled. I get it, unforeseen circumstances happen. What I have a huge issue with is that I was not notified! I did not receive an email or a phone call at any point the entire day. So after a long drive, I arrive in the evening with my family, and THEN I am informed that the booking was cancelled. That lack of communication is completely unacceptable. Oh, and it looks like I’ve only been refunded for one of the booked rooms. So I have to sort that out, too.

The 1st night, we went thru 5 rooms with the manager, could not find a bed with clean sheets or a room that was clean. It was almost midnight and we just got clean sheet for a semi clean room. The manager was very sorry. The 2nd day the manager had gotten a room with new sheets. It was simi clean. It was Christmas and no where else to go. We stayed our stay.

The 1st night, we went thru 5 rooms with the manager, could not find a bed with clean sheets or a room that was clean. It was almost midnight and we just got clean sheet for a semi clean room. The manager was very sorry. The 2nd day the manager had gotten a room with new sheets. It was simi clean. It was Christmas and no where else to go. We stayed our stay.

I booked using Expedia, had booked a month in advance. We arrive at the hotel and I’m told by the owner of the hotel that his cleaning lady had been hospitalized for over week, so he didn’t have any clean rooms. I was turned away, stayed at another hotel down the road. I wake up the next morning to a charge from the OYÓ for the room I didn’t stay in. I went straight to the owner that was in the lobby and let him know that I was charged for the room. He went as far as showing me on his laptop that he didn’t have any booking from Expedia for me, so he didn’t charge me. Expedia is the only app that had my info. So I reach out to Expedia, but now they say that they can’t reach anyone at the OYÓ hotel to confirm my stay. I’ve been back and forth with Expedia and OYÓ and neither is trying to issue a refund. I’m told by OYÓ to wait 24-48hrs to see why they can’t reach their own guy in Jacksboro. I just want my refund before I take legal matters.

The tub was filthy and didn’t shower there! The bathroom had no toilet paper, had to go to office to get some. The floors had not been cleaned. Seen 3 roaches while I was there. Never again will I stay there!

The locks that you use from inside the room for security were all broken. I also got charged a second time by the manager on the property for our stay. When i towed up Flavia the hair with him, he was absolutely positive i was wrong even tho he didn't morphs i bowed the room already thru his computer. Also the wrong email was listed in his computer on my account. He also seemed independent to h men that kept walking by me in side my personal space as i was trying to load my car up. Seemed they were intentionally trying to unyielding intimate me in the parking lot.
