The Sonder was amazing. Our room was huge and had a great view. We went to the pool on the rooftop and the views were awesome. If I ever return to NOLA I am definitely choosing this place again. It was centrally located and we walked to Bourbon Street and everything else.

What a fabulous stay at Sonder! The apartment was spacious and well-stocked with everything we needed for our week in NOLA. We loved the location on Canal street that gave us easy access to everything we wanted to visit. A quick walk to the French Quarter and an easy streetcar/bus ride to Magazine Street, the WWII Museum, and City Park. Enjoyed having a kitchen in our apartment, plus a washer and dryer, and access to the rooftop terrace, where we enjoyed dinner one evening. Inside the apartment sound carried loudly from the elevators and hallways, but it was otherwise peaceful and a delightful place to stay. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Great place to stay. The streetcar is right outside and the place was really nice. I loved having a living room and kitchen, washer and dryer and there is a gym and pool within the Sonder. Highly recommend.

Overall a great stay! Pool was a bit small & there isn’t on-site parking. We were able to park in a lot directly across the street for $15/day, rather than $45 /day for valet parking.

We absolutely loved this place! It was so clean so big so roomie and it had everything you needed. Fantastic location right on Canal Street. Only a few blocks to bourbon Street or an eight dollar Uber. Parking at the hotel was valet at $50 plus tax but right across the street on Canal was a $15 a night parking lot we were able to pay for the whole week upfront and come and go as we wanted. Highly recommend we will be back!

Apartment was very nice and as pictured. Pool was EXTREMELY disappointing and very small. Nothing like pictures. Large group hanging out by the entrance smoking and drinking alcohol. Trash all over the front of the building the next morning. Liquor bottles and cigarettes all over the ground.

I didnt like the pool is really small and doesn't get cleaned daily. Only five to ten people can fit inthe pool at the same time. There was items left around the pool from the previous night and the pool water was very cloudy with a wierd film floating in it. I have tried five times but it never looked clean. The access code to the elevator was difficult to use.

Great stay, the appartment was clean and beautiful, very comfy with a lot of amenities! Good location very convenient and the rooftop pool was great. Too bad the towels at the pool were not replenished daily even though we asked the sonders' team several times. I will definitly stay again!

When we first got to our Sonder, it was open and clean. They charge for early check in and to hold bags until your room is open, but both are convenient options. First night was great, however, when we woke up my son was bitten up by bedbugs from sleeping on the pull out sofa! There were no signs of bedbugs when we first arrived so whether they are from another room or the last visitor, who knows. We were moved to a new roomed. The next room seemed to be the room where broken equipment were stored. The full fridge was broken (we had already bought groceries the night before) and there was only a mini fridge with a broken door. The ac does not work in the living room/bathroom/ hallways, when you would walk in it would be tangibly hot. The pull out sofa that my son was supposed to sleep on was broken, which since the ac was not working efficiently, we were not gonna make him sleep out there anyways. The cabinets were broken as well. When we reported these issues, we were told no other rooms were available. I wish we cut our losses and left. A couple nights later, I was laying on the couch and lo and behold, I was bitten a couple times. The refund was only $135 (nowhere close what we paid) which at this point I’m more concerned about bringing home bed bugs than the money. The rooms we stayed in were 817 and 1002 for those who still may book here, would hate with someone with children, or anyone else for that matter, to experience this like we did :(

The property is a bit further from the main area of interest in the city, but that makes it more quiet than other options near bourbon street. It has fully equipped kitchen dining and living area. Separate bedroom with a walk in closet. Bathroom with washer and dryer. The cleanliness of the unit, however, was pretty poor. Upon check in i noticed a leftover fry on the floor next to the oven. There was hair in the corners of the bedroom and hallways. Upon using the washer and the dryer on the second night I found a mopping cloth in the dryer after I took out my clothes. I had to rewash them afterwards. It would be a pretty nice place to stay at, but the cleanliness definitely needs to improve.

Dishwasher didn’t work, fan doesn’t work, freezer was out as well. Ac was on but it didn’t cool. The room wasn’t clean, and floors not clean. Only one adult sized towel for the bathroom.

The furnishings were very sparse in every room. There were no pictures on the walls and the furniture seemed to be unclean and older in age. Each bedroom had 1 beside table and bed. I rented a 2 bedroom with a king and 2 queen beds. I have never seen such a poorly designed room, anesthetic wise. My stay was for 4 days and it was very disappointing. In addition to the room feeling like an unmoved in dorm room, I had no idea that cable was not provided. Thank goodness I brought my laptop and was able to download the xfinity and netflix app. Otherwise, my stay would have gone from worse to worser. I honestly don't think it could have gotten any worse. Thank you for allowing me to share my experience.

Despite having some mold and water damage in the closet it was overall very good. Had issues with the TV when we first arrived and someone was by within 30 minutes to fix it, which was great! It was a 1 minute walk to the streetcar stop which was fantastic. One draw back was that there were not many grocery stores close by. Would stay again.

Rented this unit for 10 days so that I could recover from a surgery before returning home. When we showed up the floors were dirty with what appeared to be lint/fibers. Maybe from what looked to be new rugs. Nonetheless, needed to be swept. The dishwasher was broken and when we contacted Sonder we were told they knew about the problem and would provide soap so we could handwash. Super inconvenient as I couldn’t stand, or lean over the sink long enough to complete the task. They then provided us with extra hand soap and dishwasher pods… for hand washing the dishes?? The restock locations were also low on supplies or missing things entirely. The square toilets were uncomfortable and weird. As was the super long hallway to the bedrooms that reminded me of the hallway in the shining. REDRUM anyone? Also, be aware you are RIGHT next to a hospital so be prepared for sirens all day and ALL NIGHT. Over all, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay but I don’t think I would use this location in the future.

The property was near the hospital so you occasionally hear the ambulance. Other than that it was a quiet stay. Close walk to local shops and food. Parking was easy to find

Full sized frig * Large walk-in closet * Huge bathtub * Quiet and couldn't hear neighbors Small complaints: * Extra towels not available without a cleaning fee * Bed was a little lumpy, not firm. * No frying pans. The only reason for not have a 5 star rating is...there was only 1 TV in the living area with no antenna. Therefore no TV to watch. Luckily I had my HDMI cord I was able to connect my laptop to the TV

Not enough furniture and the furniture there (sofa) is extremely uncomfortable. We ended up relaxing in the bed because of it. Not able to watch tv unless you have a smart phone and an app to play off the phone. Too complicated so didn’t watch the tv at all during our stay. Plenty of space and well equipped for longer stay.

The property is clean and spacious. It had an in unit washer and drier. My only con is that our unit wasn’t adequately cooled. One of the two bedrooms didn’t have AC and relied on the AC in the kitchen/dinning area and therefore was too warm .

The sonder canceled my booking 1 minute before I arrived to the hotel and did not give me a reason as to why they canceled it! When I got to the hotel I asked to speak to a manager and was unable to. I called and asked for cooperate number and was refused that number. I still to this day have no knowledge on what happened and why, especially after booking a month in advance

Recently stayed with my spouse in New Orleans. We love the extra security of codes to use the elevator and to get into the room. Also enjoyed having a full size kitchen for snacks. While we don't typically stay in the room much we like to have tv for background noise at night as we are turning in, the wifi was having issues but once I reached out to customer service, they sent someone within minutes to get it taken care of. Will definitely book with Sonder on future travels.

I think if they provided the proper towels per apartment that would have been great. We received our wash clothes on the last night stay on our 3 day stay. Very disappointed in the service we received. Was told to hang them to dry after use. But we never had them to begin with. When inquired about them was told we would be receiving them.

Overall, this property is great, but it’s quite pricey. I like the separate condo-style units for staying in. The rooftop pool is a nice idea, but it’s way too small for the number of customers it can accommodate. Additionally, the railing needs improvement for safety. The main reason I didn’t give this property a high rating is the lack of customer support. I encountered several issues that weren’t resolved despite being assured they would be handled.

My family of 3 stayed at Sonder for 4 nights and it was great. This is our first time staying at a place where it is a self check-in. I was hesitant. And it was a great experience. I have to say the location is perfect enough away from the busyness of the city and right in front of the streetcar stop. We arrived late night via Uber. There had been a couple groups figuring out the elevator upon arrival. Our code didn’t work at first ( it was most likely user error). But to be sure, I submitted a chat with Sonder in the app to confirm that we had the right codes, and they promptly answered me at midnight. They had me check while on chat with them to make sure it worked. Which is appreciated. The few times I reached out for extra towels and bedding they had it scheduled and were at the room when we needed it. The rooftop and pool area are quaint spots. The studio is spacious and equipped with full kitchen and laundry which made our stay that much more comfortable! We were able to leave vacation with all laundry completed and an easy unpack when we got home.

The hotel really can't be beat on price and is in a decent location, easy to walk to most places. Although Sonder doesn't keep staff on site, the staff at the desk/front door (I believe they were from the Jung Hotel) were all very friendly and helpful. However, I made the reservation for three people but when we arrived we only had pillows, blankets, linens and towels for two people. We had to request items for our third guest but were told that it could be up to 24 hours which seems unacceptable for a hotel that agreed to acommodate three people in the room. In the end we received some items that evening and others the following day, making the first night uncomfortable for our third guest. The room was also not true to the images we saw advertised for our room type in particular. The furniture was much more sparse, dated and seemingly cheap. For example, the imagery made it seem like we would have a full sized dining table but we only had a small circular glass table making it hard for us all to work from the hotel room. The photos also showed multiple lounge chairs but there were none in the room. We had the basics of what we needed but we felt misled by the images advertised.

Rented this unit for 10 days so that I could recover from a surgery before returning home. When we showed up the floors were dirty with what appeared to be lint/fibers. Maybe from what looked to be new rugs. Nonetheless, needed to be swept. The dishwasher was broken and when we contacted Sonder we were told they knew about the problem and would provide soap so we could handwash. Super inconvenient as I couldn’t stand, or lean over the sink long enough to complete the task. They then provided us with extra hand soap and dishwasher pods… for hand washing the dishes?? The restock locations were also low on supplies or missing things entirely. The square toilets were uncomfortable and weird. As was the super long hallway to the bedrooms that reminded me of the hallway in the shining. REDRUM anyone? Also, be aware you are RIGHT next to a hospital so be prepared for sirens all day and ALL NIGHT. Over all, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay but I don’t think I would use this location in the future.

What a fabulous stay at Sonder! The apartment was spacious and well-stocked with everything we needed for our week in NOLA. We loved the location on Canal street that gave us easy access to everything we wanted to visit. A quick walk to the French Quarter and an easy streetcar/bus ride to Magazine Street, the WWII Museum, and City Park. Enjoyed having a kitchen in our apartment, plus a washer and dryer, and access to the rooftop terrace, where we enjoyed dinner one evening. Inside the apartment sound carried loudly from the elevators and hallways, but it was otherwise peaceful and a delightful place to stay. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We absolutely loved this place! It was so clean so big so roomie and it had everything you needed. Fantastic location right on Canal Street. Only a few blocks to bourbon Street or an eight dollar Uber. Parking at the hotel was valet at $50 plus tax but right across the street on Canal was a $15 a night parking lot we were able to pay for the whole week upfront and come and go as we wanted. Highly recommend we will be back!

It’s a bit farther down canal than alot of the main stuff but that’s actually a good thing in most cases. It’s not as loud and easier to get Ubers. You do have to walk a decent amount to get to food/coffee but the area is much safer and cleaner. The rooms are great with tons of space. My only complaint is the tv does not get cable. It’s fun to watch the local news and channels when you are out of town and have its good to have some white noise in the background while getting ready. The tvs only currently support chrome cast. If you have kids it might be hard to keep them entertained.

Hotel was in a great location. Walkable to the French Quarter, Treme, and Frenchmen Street and the trolley stopped right out front. The suite was super spacious and a great value. Perfect for our family.

Good size apartment with two separate bedrooms and a large open plan kitchen/dining/living space. Linen was clean and fresh and the apartment was generally clean and tidy. The air con can be controlled in the bedrooms but not in the hallway - this made it a bit cool and noisy. The area did not seem very busy at night so made me wary about venturing out after dark - especially with security on the door.

I was skeptical booking this property as it is more of an apart-hotel with no check in desk. But I was SO pleasantly surprised. Apartment was HUGE, i felt like royalty. So clean. Bit of confusion punching in codes to access elevator and room, but once you get the hang of it after 1-2 tries it’s super easy! Area around hotel was safe but there are quite a few homeless people hanging around - but anywhere downtown is like this. Hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the core of the french quarter, but the streetcar is SUPER easy to take and stops right out front of the building. $3/day pass and car 49 takes you all the way to the french market. Cars 47/48 take you right up and down canal street. All of which can be accessed 10 steps from building. Rooftop pool was nice, lobby was nice. Having our own kitchen was great - CVS and walgreens a few blocks away. Overall i was incredibly impressed with Sonder for the price, and will absolutely be booking with them again!!!

although we stayed in an apartment (thru Sonder) desolate area no where close to get food or coffee for apt. It is connected to the Jung Hotel - a big marble entrance old hotel . no coffee service downstairs . no cafe to grab a muffin. had to walk 3 long city blocks to the Roosevelt to get a cup of coffee. I don't know if these apts are individually owned ? the interiors were horrific.. looked like they they were picked up off the street. never again

We loved this property is exceeded our expectations the rooms were large the kitchen was fully stocked we were able to door dash groceries from a local grocery mart , it's on the street car line, best price around many people we spoke wished they knew of this Gem .. We have found our Happy place in New Orleans

I was surprised at how large the rooms were. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels because New Orleans is humid and lots of showers were required. I was happy to see the washer and dryer, but it would have been nice if there had been some laundry detergent for at least one load. There are no grocery stores close, in fact, I didn’t see any. We did find laundry detergent at the CVS a short distance away. The location was good away from the noise and bustle of Bourbon Street. We had a good visit.

I had never stayed in a Sonder before but the experience was great. Once I downloaded their app everything I needed was there. I did have to contact them when I first arrive to say the lamp in one of the rooms was not working and they quickly replaced it with another one. I would stay in a Sonder again. Great for a girls trip or family as it has a stove, microwave, refrigerator, cooking, and eating utensils.

The trolly is right across the the street and easily accessible. The area is quiet and is walking distance to so many restaurants and sights. The staff was friendly and responded to requests quickly. The rooms were clean and we loved having a washer and dryer in the room.

Close to the French quarter, but far away enough to be quiet. It was good to have a kitchen and washer and dryer. But the amenities otherwise were sparse and the only supermarkets nearby where I could buy detergent for the washing machine and all that I needed to cook were a long walk away--nothing close was adequate. The heat control on the shower also kept moving by itself to hotter temperatures, so one had to keep adjusting it while trying to take a shower. Finally, I texted two messages (to get the wifi password and also to find out what to do with trash--neither was included in the instructions I received), sent the texts to the same number that sent me texts, and got no replies. I had to call and wait for help with one, and the people at the Jung Hotel had to tell me the other information.

The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and had almost everything one would need for a vacation away. A serving bowl or two and a couple kitchen cloths would complete the kitchen. But overall we really enjoyed our stay and definitely plan on staying with Sonder in the future!

Very nice place in a safe area that is close to the French quarter to walk but also very quiet in the building.Close to grocery,restaurants and street car stops out front.It has all the amenities to make it feel like home.Great value for the money.

The one thing they need to do is add at least one full length mirror. We are all staying for vacation or business we need to see how we look. Another would be some carpet runners or photos or anything that can brake up the noise. If your friends are talking in the livingroom is like there actually in the bedroom. Pool is way smaller than I thought. I really enjoyed our stay here it was pretty close to everything. If you are looking for in my opinon the best seafood close by go to.....

The one bedroom apartment we had was huge, clean, and comfortable. The only issue I wish they’d work out is a better way to get on the lobby elevators, that key pad was a pain to use and we watched other people struggle with it the whole time as well.
