The pool wasn’t clean so I couldn’t relax there and the bathroom in my room wasn’t clean I went and bought supplies and cleaned it myself

They only had smoking rooms when we arrived and we are not smokers..we were exhausted so we only went to catch up on a little sleep..it was disappointing..evrrything smelled of smoke and the toilet had burn marks.The floor on bathroom was sticky and the tub had a forever ring around it. Thank God I had disinfectanting wipes..it had sadned me to see the outdoor pool was green..it was outta season for use.But we have a pool at home and we updated every month for our upcoming summer use. I wouldnt recommend anyone use the pool.

I checked into my room and it was disgusting. There was a wash cloth still on the shower rod. It was dirty and crunchy. The toilet had pubic hairs in it. The room itself was just a disappointment. I always do a little clean up in hotel rooms but in this case I was cleaning like I worked for housekeeping. Somebody's socks were on side of the bed from the previous guests. I know it’s a small town but that is no excuse. Not to mention the room had roaches. I could not sleep. Next time I would be better off sleeping in the back of my SUV

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Room was disgusting, everything was broken and dirty towels on the bathroom floor.

Dirtiest hotel we've ever stayed in. Staff member tried to tell us it was our fault that we got a dirty room because we requested an accessible bottom floor room and that the rooms on the top floor were much cleaner/nicer.

Leak under the sink with wet moldy carpet underneath. Musty smell. Smoky smell in a non-smoking room. Nasty toilet and toilet seat covered in urine. Sand and dirt imbedded in carpet.

My family and I traveled to Cuthbert, GA for our aunt’s funeral and reserved 7 rooms (double occupancy, 1 night each). At first, things seemed fine. The building, though dated, appeared generally well-kept. The lobby was clean, pleasantly scented, and had a quaint feel. The desk clerk was professional and courteous. Unfortunately, the rooms told a very different story. My sister and I were first assigned to Room 116 (backside, ground floor). The moment we opened the door, we were hit with the overwhelming stench of stale cigarettes, mildew, and what smelled like a dead animal. Since we knew smoking rooms were available in the hotel, I called the desk to ask if we had been given one by mistake. To the clerk’s credit, he was kind and promptly reassigned us to another room. Room 207 (second floor, front side) was no better. In fact, it was worse. The bathroom had not been cleaned—remnants were still in the toilet, and strands of wet hair clung to the shower walls. Only two towels were provided, with no hand towels or washcloths. The beds, while made, had not been changed after the last guests; the sheets were full of hair and skin flakes. The comforter was dirty, the blankets reeked of mildew, and some even had cigarette burns. The carpet was sticky underfoot, and the room smelled strongly of mold. Sadly, our experience was not unique. Out of the 7 rooms we booked, every single one had similar issues. This was an incredibly disappointing and unpleasant stay for our entire family

We ended up not staying at this location, rooms smelled bad and floor didnt even look vacuumed

I was attacked by bed bugs during my stay. On the first night i noticed one bite, I dismissed it as a mosquito bite. After the second night I woke up with my body covered. When I went to the front desk to report it, no one was there. I've contacted Choice Hotels and they have done nothing.

The room was dirty carpet hadn’t been swept tub was filthy ceiling had mold and was cracked bed spread had burnt holes in it the room smelted like mold and mildew no garbage can in the room and room service didn’t even clean the clean

The room was very outdated. One of the outlets was burnt and it looked like it had flames that went up the wall. I was on the first floor and the woman that run the place at night had her whole family living upstairs. Friday night it sounded like a heard of elephants running around all night long. I definitely didn’t get enough rest during my stay.

Small town I always heard it was a terrible place to stay. Of course, it was the only place to stay in this town. So the day came that my water was being worked on and I needed a hotel. I took a chance. I am very glad I did. It's not a terrible place. It's it's on par with just about every other place I've stayed. The front desk was very friendly. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The towels were okay, not the thin ones like some places. I was actually impressed. I would definitely stay here again.

I don't know how old these ratings are but it had a descent rating which is why I booked. I don't typically leave reviews unless there is either exceptional qualities or really poor ones. The place takes animals and you can tell as the room smelled like cat urine. It was not updated or clean. It happened to be around 25degrees for the low that night and the heater wasn't working so by the time we woke up it was extremely cold in the room. I've stayed at cheaper motels that were much better so if you're looking for something clean and updated, this is not the place for you.

Room was not ready when I checked in at 5pm . Gave me a room but wanted to charge me more money. She made an offer to pay the extra fee but I told not to do that and give me whatever was available. This morning no hot water for showing.

The tv did not work properly. The. Microwave was filthy. Most of the wall sockets did not work. No tissues for the bathroom. Phone and clock did not work. Avoid this place

Personable clerk who wanted me to have a good experience. However-I set the heat on 70 and it blew cold air; I figured that it would warm up soon. I awoke about 4am coughing and freezing. It was still blowing cold air! It was still set on heat…so I just turned the fan down and stuck it out as we were getting up soon and leaving by 7am. Stayed very cold in the room-we didn’t even shower due to the temperature in the room. I definitely caught a nasty cold from that room. Ruined the stay. Room 112

Had requested non smoking room. Staff was friendly. Room Was dirty, even had ash on floor of bathroom in supposed non smoking room. No other non smoking room was available and hotel owner operator stated i could receive a regund as i had to find abother accommodation. Stillworking with customer service on this.

Rooms were very dirty especially the bathroom they were filthy. The receptionist Ashley took it upon herself to come clean the bathroom scrubbing the tub etc. She also helped me to remake my bed and change the sheets. She was an Angel 😘

Staff person was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom is a little old and run-down, but serviceable. Some burn holes in the bedspread. All in all, quite comfortable!

The check in was great and the front desk clerk was sweet. However, it\'s 1a.m. and we left the hotel. My family and I kept noticing small bugs on the bed, after we layed down. I thought they were small roaches, not waterbugs. When I pinched the bug, blood was on the tissue! At that point I took my flashlight and was freaking out!!! Went downstairs to get another room and explained what was going on. The gentlemen told me he only had one room, which was not a problem. When i went to check the room before taking my family, it only had one bed and smelled horrible! When i asked for another room, was told none was available. I told him fine, then i needed my money refunded. He said he needed to check the room first. Told him fine let\'s go check it! He then said, "I have to call the pest control and see if it is bed bugs. Then I\'ll put money back on card. I\'ll call you". My issue is that it\'s 1 a.m. in the morning and your customers are having issues. The gentlemen said himself he needed to check the room first. That changed when i said OK, let\'s go! You couldn\'t accommodate me or my family but we couldn\'t get our money back to even get another room! I am tired of managers/owners not doing right by their customers! We paid and the company gets to keep our money for issues that have nothing to do with the customers! This is unacceptable and I am very disappointed at how this was handled! CHECK ROOM & BEDS BEFORE PAYING...DO NOT BOOK ONLINE FOR THIS BUSINESS!

Absolutely Horrible!! The worst !! The front desk did not answer the phone for 5 hours!! We had to yell at the front desk for someone to check us in!! The room was infested with roaches when we first walked in!! The room smelled HORRIBLE with stains everywhere! The towels were dirty and yellow!! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! Very disappointing for a National chain!!

This property is not where it said it was. It was a big empty field. Econo lodge was 50 mins away from location. After i checked in there were roaches crawling on the bathroom wall so we left and went to a different hotel. I wish i could post a picture of the roaches on here.

We stay here quite often when we come to Georgia because in this area its the only one that's cleaner than the other and its closer to family

It's okay to stay for a couple of nights but not for a long stay. I don't think they have enough staff to clean rooms and breakfast is not good.

Clean. Comfortable bed/pillows, plenty of towels Breakfast of sausage roll and yogurt hit the spot, tho I was disappointed re no fruit
