Hyatt Regency Metropolitan Chongqing

clean room, helpful staffs, breakfast so so, very convenience location. Recommend this hotel.

The stay was okay. The hotel was okay. The staff were not very helpful in communication pre-stay, and no text based messaging service with staff was offered during the stay, which would’ve been very helpful considering they didn’t speak much English. In-person, the staff were as helpful as they could be. The breakfast was good. The housekeepers did a good job of organising and cleaning. The room was quite dated but clean, and lacked the modern facilities we found in other Chinese hotels. The air conditioning worked but not well - the heat was kept at bay but barely, it struggled to get below 23C most days (despite having set it to 17C or whatever the lowest was). The air conditioner fan was very noisy to the point where I wore earplugs at night. We wouldn’t stay here again. I think there are much better options in Chongqing.

Ich war insgesamt sehr, sehr zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt im Hyatt Metropolitan (Stadtmitte). Preis-Leistungstechnisch kann man hier absolut nicht meckern – wir haben hier echt einen Schnapper gemacht. Kann man auf jeden Fall machen! ​Die Highlights: ​Die Lage (10/10): Das ist das absolute Prunkstück des Hotels. Man ist direkt am Liberation Square. Durch diese geniale Lage hat man eine blitzschnelle Anbindung an alles, was man braucht. Besser geht es kaum. ​Service & Ausstattung: Ansonsten war wirklich alles da, was man für einen guten Aufenthalt braucht. Auch die Sauna war top. ​Ein kleiner Dämpfer beim Wellness-Bereich: ​Der Pool war leider sehr kalt, was den Badespaß etwas geschmälert hat. ​Es gab keinen richtigen, gemütlichen Liegebereich am Pool, um mal entspannt abzuschalten. Das war etwas schade, aber für uns kein Weltuntergang. ​Fazit & Tipp: Ich würde das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen! Noch ein kleiner Rat an alle Reisenden: Es lohnt sich hier definitiv, ein internationales Hotel wie das Hyatt zu wählen. Gute Englischkenntnisse sind in der Stadt sapisch rar gesät, und im Hotel klappt die Kommunikation wenigstens reibungslos. ​Gerne wieder!
