Le personnel est serviable et parle anglais. Les chambres sont très petites. On a à peine la place de passer au bout du lit. Il est impossible d'ouvrir sa valise ailleurs que sur le lit. La salle de bain est correcte cependant, le sèche cheveux était cassé et le store de la fenêtre était sale (plein de savon). La propreté était ok. Les couloirs de l'hôtel sont à l'ancienne. On a un peu l'impression d'être dans les backroom. Il y a la possibilité de faire des lessives et de sécher le linge ce qui est bien pratique. Le petit déjeuner est très bien (pour 1000¥ je recommande). En résumé, par rapport au prix payé (cet hôtel est assez abordable) je considère que le service est correct et je recommande pour les petits budgets qui souhaitent tout de même avoir le confort de l'hôtel.

Always stay at the Ueno Hotel whenever in Tokyo. Nice surroundings and convenient. Amenities have deteriorated. No more black tea available, no more water kettle in room, staff, although friendly, are mainly foreign and know little about Tokyo. Results of inflation and not enough Japanese workers.

I like this hotel - it's a bargain in a good location. Reasonably-sized rooms by Japanese standards, and a front desk that speaks English well enough that I didn't have to rely on my lousy Japanese. Pricey breakfast for what you get, but quite convenient. Strange to see them throw out the non-breakfast seated guests at 7 a.m. sharp. The breakfast onigiri is particularly large and good. There isn't a smoking area anymore, so you may need to walk a bit to find a smoking spot if you're a smoker. Good reasonably priced laundry facilities. The common areas are very cold in the winter time. Overall, good solid accommodations at a fair price.

About a 10 min walk from Narita express. A little less to subway/JR lines. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Spoke English. Shower had great water pressure. Rooms were a bit smaller than expected. We had 2 in our room and was sold as 3. Definitely would not want another person in the room. No place at all for a suitcase that wasn’t in the walkway. Did use the washer/dryer. Thankfully we started early. By 9pm there was a line waiting because the dryer takes minimum of 1.5 hours. Had to ask for ice. Vending machines on each floor selling beverages including beer.

The location of the hotel is not conducive and lack nice earning place. It’s too far away from Ueno station. Housekeeping is bad with missing towels and waste on the floor. There is no electric kettles in the room and very inconvenient to get hot water from the lobby. Bed is too low and only 1 pillow as a result most of us in this trip got stiff neck after 6 nights

Decent place to stay! Very close to Ueno park so there’s a lot to do. The staff was friendly and knew English, I had to arrive rather late to my booking but they were kind and ran through everything I needed to know, they also leave a complimentary water in the room and that was nice! Shower floor was kinda not the cleanest as there were some hairs in it on arrival, the bed backboard had a few small stains on it and the wall the bed was pushed against had some streaks. Otherwise the accommodations were well priced and convenient! I got a room with a single double bed and when the listing says it’s small it’s SMALL! Haha enough for a single suitcase at the foot of the bed, thankfully I was solo at the time but if you’re sharing with a friend it’ll be a real squeeze!

Mistakenly booked this hotel for another hotel and was a huge mistake. Stayed for 1 night. Room is run down. Smelt cigarette smoke. Used water bottle still on top of the desk/ tv counter. Room feels unclean. Bedsheet underneath duvet had some men's hair on it. (I have long hair) I slept on top of duvet instead. Too tired to go down again and complain. Will never go near this hotel ever again. I am disgusted.

Weird smell in the room. Hair all over the floor. Shower floor has black residue. We checked in at night, and the staff who checked us in were rather unprofessional. Only provided us with one key card. Bottle water only free on the first day and no boiler in room. Plus side, can borrow scale to weigh luggage at front desk. Some nice cafes nearby.

The room hadn't been deep cleaned in a while. The beds looked ok. My daugher got head lice. If that isn't enough, every once in a while there was a terrible smell in the room. And not a smell like someone had smoked in the room. A smell like there was a dead animal.

This is an interesting building with an inner open-air courtyard that all rooms connect to. It's well located, although still quite a walk to Ueno Station, or the Ueno shopping and restaurant area. It was clean and tidy, but also had the smallest of all the rooms that we stayed in while in Japan! No real room to maneuver or work with two suitcases. You also had to come down to the lobby to get fresh towels or garbage bags

Perfect for what I needed-just a room to sleep in between sightseeing adventures. Staff very friendly and accommodating-left my luggage for a few hours both before checking in and checking out and retrieved an item I had left in room safe. Very friendly staff. Almost all the staff spoke English like a native speaker which is very helpful for a tourist. Breakfast option with your room is a must. Tried so many things I would have never tried before as the breakfast is a Japanese style. Rooms are tidy and comfortable. The shower I had was huge. Lawson right across the street. If you are looking for dining options, do not walk to the left if you are leaving the hotel, there is nothing there for blocks except a Dominoes pizza. Walk towards the Lawson until you come to the Indian restaurant and either eat there or make a right. A few short blocks is a main street with tons of options. I frequently used the back exit stairs to make the short two block walk to Ueno Station. I will definitely stay at the Ueno Hotel again when I go back to the area.

Budget friendly hotel close to Ueno station, no complaints. We shipped our luggage here and it arrived on time and the hotel held our luggage until we arrived. They also held our luggage after check out since our flight wasn’t until 5pm and checkout was at 11am.

Ueno Hotel wasnabout a 10 min. Walk to Ueno station, along the way are some good spots to eat like Yoshinoya, and convince store for snacks and Bento Box. The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke english well. I walked around at night and early mornings, even hit some side road and back road and felt safe the whole time.

우에노 역에서 걸음을 대략 10분 정도 걸리는 것 같다. 전에 크라운 힐스 우에노에도 투숙한 적 있었는데 위치는 크라운 쪽이 더 좋은 듯. 회색-주황색 지하철 라인도 가깝고. 역에서 다소 걸어야 하는 게 가장 큰 단점이었고 그 외에는 전반적으로 우수했다. 숙소는 전반적으로 조용하고 깨끗했다. 2인이서 머물렀는데 다른 도쿄 내 비슷한 가격의 호텔에 비해 그렇게 좁은 느낌은 아니었다. 딱 적당히 지낼 정도? 근처에 24시간 하는 슈퍼마켓도 있어서 마감 세일 때 도시락 종류 쓸어다 먹은 것도 유용했다. 다시 여기 예약하라고 하면 할 수 있음.

The location of this property is great! It’s close to the train station as well as lawson, family mart, and 7/11. The staff are very kind and helpful. The room itself is pretty small but that was to be expected and can’t be helped. It was also slightly dusty but that wasn’t really a problem for me. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Very pleasant location with Lawson diagonally across the street. Only a few minutes walk from JR ueno station. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Room was small but this is par for the course in Japan. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend staying.

1.去到那發現中間是鏤空的像室有中庭的公寓，所以下雨都會打進房門口地板溼溼的。 2.只有頂樓有行李架,其他房間樓層沒有,我猜是因為頂樓地板最潮濕才給的,但也因此你會花費一樣的價格得到不同得房間配備。 3.早餐很普通,都是澱粉會讓你一定可以吃飽,吃飯座位不多。 4.枕頭很扁塌。 5.環境乾淨度有待加強。 6.距離車站近上野入谷閘口大概走路5分鐘，旅館斜對面有lawson超市。

The rooms are even smaller than shown on the website. There is no chair for the desk. If you sit on the bed to use the little desk, your knees will be hitting the wall. There is no storage. You live out of your suitcase and that takes up much needed space. The bathroom is nice. The breakfast is cheap but you are better off going to Lawson’s.

Very friendly staff. Almost all the staff spoke English like a native speaker which is very helpful for a tourist. Breakfast option with your room is a must. Tried so many things I would have never tried before as the breakfast is a Japanese style. Rooms are tidy and comfortable. The shower I had was huge. Lawson right across the street. If you are looking for dining options, do not walk to the left if you are leaving the hotel, there is nothing there for blocks except a Dominoes pizza. Walk towards the Lawson until you come to the Indian restaurant and either eat there or make a right. A few short blocks is a main street with tons of options. I frequently used the back exit stairs to make the short two block walk to Ueno Station. I will definitely stay at the Ueno Hotel again when I go back to the area.

アメニティが不十分（ボディタオルがない ·歯ブラシが小さすぎ）何よりバスタブがなくシャワーだけなのが一番ビックリしました。朝食はバイキング形式でなく期待していませんでしたが、味はわりと美味しかったです。

Unique accommodation from an Australian perspective. Very small room but workable. Tasty fresh light brekkie each morning. Excellent wifi. Close to train station. Pump soap, shampoo and conditioner provided. Shower always hot. Beer vending machines on some floors.

Le personnel est serviable et parle anglais. Les chambres sont très petites. On a à peine la place de passer au bout du lit. Il est impossible d'ouvrir sa valise ailleurs que sur le lit. La salle de bain est correcte cependant, le sèche cheveux était cassé et le store de la fenêtre était sale (plein de savon). La propreté était ok. Les couloirs de l'hôtel sont à l'ancienne. On a un peu l'impression d'être dans les backroom. Il y a la possibilité de faire des lessives et de sécher le linge ce qui est bien pratique. Le petit déjeuner est très bien (pour 1000¥ je recommande). En résumé, par rapport au prix payé (cet hôtel est assez abordable) je considère que le service est correct et je recommande pour les petits budgets qui souhaitent tout de même avoir le confort de l'hôtel.

I like this hotel - it's a bargain in a good location. Reasonably-sized rooms by Japanese standards, and a front desk that speaks English well enough that I didn't have to rely on my lousy Japanese. Pricey breakfast for what you get, but quite convenient. Strange to see them throw out the non-breakfast seated guests at 7 a.m. sharp. The breakfast onigiri is particularly large and good. There isn't a smoking area anymore, so you may need to walk a bit to find a smoking spot if you're a smoker. Good reasonably priced laundry facilities. The common areas are very cold in the winter time. Overall, good solid accommodations at a fair price.

This place is very close to a major training station (Ueno) and it is very convenient. We even took a direct training from the airport to this hotel without any problem. The breakfast is also very nice. My son loves the breakfast very much! I saw they have washer and dryer on site though we did not use it.
