It was nice, nothing fancy but worked out good for one night. We were on the fourth floor and there is no elevator so keep that in mind if you have difficulty with stairs or very heavy luggage. Make sure you receive the email with entrance details a few days before your stay, I had to reach out about it. There is a shared kitchen area where you can make a meal which is convenient.

Great place to stay after a long flight. Rooms were basic but all that we needed. Shared kitchen was a nice amenity. Very quiet even in the middle of town.

Easy access and the free on-site parking is great. There was some minor construction/remodeling going on during our stay, but it did not interfere with sleep or relaxation. Nice common area and kitchen. Would certainly recommend to anyone staying in Reykjavik.

Although the room is very simple but there are extra WC and shower room on each floor so very convenient. It is very close to the supermarket within walking distance. The shared kitchen on the main level is a big plus which we did not expect.

Great location near to the main shopping and eating areas. Also close to bus stop 12:where we where collected for our trips. Basic room but comfortable and warm. Great kitchen where many residents cooked meals and made drinks. Cleaning staff in every day and they kept everything clean and tidy.

Check is was easy as the instructions were sent days before our check in. Renovations were happening in the common areas and were all beautiful and modern. Hallways outside of the rooms had not been touched so they were a little dark. Only issue was one travel mate got stuck in the common are bathroom as the door handle was not installed yet. Overall great stay near main shopping area in Reykjavik. We got lucky and found parking right out front!

Very nice and clean and close to various restaurants. The area is super walkable too. The only reason why I'm giving it 4/5 stars is because of nearby construction... they start their work before 8am and it's insanely loud.

First off; the water is DISGUSTING! It smelled SO BAD, like actual sewer water. The entire place had this nasty water, I couldn’t even use the shower because of how bad the stench was. About the room, I always make a joke about how I just need a bed in a room to be content. Well, that’s exactly what this was. Two beds in a room. No TV, no radio, nothing. Bare bones. When I arrived, the key was supposed to be left in the room. The wrong key was left and I couldn’t lock my door. I tried getting in touch with hotel staff through Expedia, email, and their Facebook Messenger account but never got any reply. I had to wait until the next morning until housekeeping staff arrived to get the right key. During my stay, there was a lot of renovation that was going on until after 9pm, it was rough trying to sleep for an early morning tour when there’s constant banging and power tools being used. Not a great experience whatsoever. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again, there’s no way I could recommend this place in its condition.

Nice little room downtown Reykjavik. Not much to it, no tv etc. but comfy bed and nice shower. Keep in mind there is no elevator (at least that I saw) so taking luggage up and down can be a pain.

The room was comfortable but there was alot of street noise outside during the night. There was construction ongoing and although clean, it seemed overall a bit dated. My biggest complaint was that I was not sent a door code until 5 days prior to my stay and we were on the road before then. My friend had smart phone and I was able to get into my email and get the code, but otherwise I would not have been able to get in the door or know my roon number. Could have been a diaster.

Visited for 2 nights and it was exactly what we needed. Property management were super nice when I didn’t receive my check in information, and responded via phone very quickly!

Arrivée pas simple, besoin d’aide, heureusement nous avons croisé Jhoanna, l’une des femmes de chambre qui nous a aidé pour rentrer et prendre notre chambre. La guesthouse est délabrée mais des travaux de rénovation sont en cours ( ce qui n’aide pas pour un séjour agréable car on croisse des ouvriers partout et il y a du bruit). Le lieu est propre mais la zone commune de cuisine laisse beaucoup a désirer. Je pense que dans quelques mois ça sera mieux.

Very nice and clean and close to various restaurants. The area is super walkable too. The only reason why I'm giving it 4/5 stars is because of nearby construction... they start their work before 8am and it's insanely loud.

The price was affordable. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The small hotel is tucked away on a small street and we had a bit of a hard time finding it. The place is self-service so no front desk or anyone to ask questions. No elevator, so we hauled five pieces of luggage up three sets of steps. Other than that, it worked out well.

Great location near to the main shopping and eating areas. Also close to bus stop 12:where we where collected for our trips. Basic room but comfortable and warm. Great kitchen where many residents cooked meals and made drinks. Cleaning staff in every day and they kept everything clean and tidy.

It was a nice cozy place, small rooms but comfortable beds. We stayed in a two beds room, it was quiet, and close to the tourist area and restaurants.

Olor a comida, comida condimentos, especias, soya, olor insoportable en primer piso. Aunque se pague por el baño privado es un olor insoportable en toda la habitación que no tiene ventilación ni aire acondicionado.

Room are very basic, but clean, just for sleeping. We had one with two single beds. No table or armchairs in the room. But big lobby slash lounge with plenty of tables, sofas and luggage locker boxes. Plus self-service common kitchen. No reception desk, but online support replies within minutes.

Die Parkplätze vor der Unterkunft waren alle belegt, wohl auch von der Unterkunft auf der anderen Strassenseite. So kann man nur Gebührenpflichtige in der Nähe nutzen, Im Treppenhaus wurde der Teppich herausgerissen ohne weitere Verarbeitung. Im Zimmer stank es nach Chavel (Desinfektionsmittel) aus dem Badezimmer. An der Fensterfront gab es nur ein kleines Kippfenster zum lüften. Am Tag heizte sich das Zimmer auf, lüften brachte deshalb Nichts. Zentral gelegen. Geschäfte und Verpflegungsmöglichkeit sowie Zentrum in Fussnähe

The room was dark and the only other light was a gooseneck by the so called table There were no facecloths, only 2 hand towels no bar of soap The bed was not made The cover was on top of the bed and you had to make it There was no clock or phone The drawer was a plastic shoe bag on a clothes stand The door lock was difficult to lock and then open Never saw anyone of staff you could even ask about anything There were electrical receptacles but no adaptor for non European electrical appliances There was no elevator and taking the suitcases up was difficult When I booked January 2026 I knew there was festival and paid $400 for the room but the pics on FB show way better For that money I could have stayed at a high price hotel The place was unacceptable and should be charged for false representation. I would not advice anyone to go there.
