Decameron La Marina Guayabitos, Ramada All-Inclusive Resort

Everything was amazing, we enjoyed our stay, the hotel let us use their bikes, and we rode the bikes trough the town, it was a very good experience, we loved it

Nice stay. Part of a 3 Hotel Chain, they let you use the amenities.

Rooms were good, TV fantastic lots of English channels, food was decent, wifi works but you have to keep logging in if you put your phone down for 5 minutes, entertainment poor, beach good, pool was heated and nice. No pool or beach service which was okay because everything is close. I would stay again.

we have stayed at this property for three years now. I feel like the pros outweigh the cons overall. The pros are it is close to the beach, it is clean. The staff is friendly and considering it’s all inclusive it’s relatively affordable. It is not a five star luxury resort by any means and we don’t always love the dinner options but breakfast and lunch are good. We’ve never had issues getting lounge chairs out front, the beach in front of the hotel is always clean and there is a security guard watching over the area. We have never once felt unsafe while staying here. The grounds are kept very clean, there’s always somebody doing maintenance and our housekeeping staff for the daily room tidy has done an excellent job. Now, onto the cons. The beds are not comfortable, but we have stayed in other places in Mexico and found that to be the same thing. They’re just very firm. Also, if you would like to have a quiet time earlier than 10-11pm, This is not the place for you. During the day there is music playing at the pool (which is spotless btw) and at night from 9-10 there’s karaoke or a band, it sometimes stretches past the 10pm mark. Also, at times there are “beach mariachi bands” that are hired by people staying in the hotel that play long past 11pm and it is quite loud. If you want a relaxing quiet oasis then this is not it. But overall we have been happy with our stays.

En general ofrecen un buen servicio, ya es la segunda vez que me quedo en ese hotel , solo tiene algunos detalles que siguen sin gustarme: la comida se termina si no corres a la hora en que abren el restaurante, yo creo que si hay un horario para cada comida, debería haber suficiente para todos, otra cosa el que he visto en otros hoteles es que deberían prohibir apartar camastros, porque algunos duran todo el día apartados y nadie los utiliza y finalmenre, el check-in, en el hotel nos dijeron que era de 3 a 4 pm y no a las 3 como dice al momento de la reservación, para que lo consideres, además, no había préstamo de bicicletas aunque ahí las tenían ni tampoco de kayak, tablas, etc, tenias que ir al otro hotel .

Pésimo servicio, comida, no hay internet. Además se robaron su personal mis lentes, los reporté y nunca me dieron razón. No vayan ahí, hay muchas opciones más

Viajé del 26 al 29 de noviembre: -ALBERCA climatizadas FALSO o a medias por que solo está un poco tibia el agua después de las 5pm -COMIDA regular, no esperes algo de calidad -CHECK IN “tienen una lista de cómo van llegando” FALSO van nombrando al huésped por cómo toman la carpeta que tienen en un bote, llegue temprano y fui el último en hacer el check in. -HABITACIÓN me tocó el 6to piso arriba del bar, mucho ruido todo el día, y la noche hasta que se termina el bar como a la 1:00am -Playa, GUAYABITOS es una playa muy bonita y tranquila, familiar PERO deberían poner REGLAS respecto a las BOCINAS en la playa, parece competencia haber quien pone la música más fuerte y no dejan disfrutar de estar sentado frente al mar, por favor HÁGANLO!! por lo menos en la playa/camastros que pertenezcan al hotel. CONCLUSIÓN VAYAN A OTRO LUGAR

This property should not even be recommended by Expedia. It is a Mexican resort for families Limited dining and the buffet limited in choices. Wifi is terrible, have to sign in each use and oh so slow. The south end of the beach in Guayobitis is not for tourists, I enjoyed the north end of the beach and we were able to enjoy Isla Coral for lunch and Cocos for breakfast

A mi familia y a mi nos encantó el lugar, súper limpio y la gente muy amable, pero algo que hay que destacar es el servicio del restaurante que es tipo buffet para desayuno comida y cena, la verdad se nota que se esmeran en deleitar a sus huéspedes y comenzales, bien por ellos!

Didn’t like that the parking lots were in the hotel. Bathroom smell like sewer. Bed was hard not comfortable at all.

Es increíble que no haya una cortina delgada en el ventanal del balcon para poder tener la cortina gruesa abierta paraque entre la luz sin que se vea de afuera. La cama con un cubre colchon de plastico, lo mismo que las almohadas. Un poco incomodo. La toalla de manos no la cambiarin durante la estacia desconozco si las otras las cambiaron o solo las doblaron, los vasos que dejan para uso en la habitacion solo son labados y desinfetados para recibir a los huespedes, durante la estancia no son cambiados o lavados. Solo proporcionan una botella de agua de 1.5 L. por por habitación al dia. Descinozco si el hotel o los hoteles de la región, pueden hacer algo con la contaminacion del agua del mar almenos la que llega a la playa del hotel o a esa parte... El agua muyyy sucia de lama o algas, desconozco que sea. Asi como hojas y demas detalles... El clima nos favorecio muy soleado y agradable.

LA COMIDA MUY RICA, LUGAR LIMPIO Y AMENIDADES CERCA DE TODO, EL PERSONAL MUY ATENTO Y AMISTOSO

Don’t advertise things you cannot offer. From no towels in bathroom (even when leaving a tip every day) to no hot water in shower, no a la carte restaurant (even tho we were told to go to desk every day). The last attempt, the line formed and was opened at 9am. We were about 4 couples back. The Mexican couple ahead of us got offered multiple time slots (because I understand Spanish) and then we were told”full”. In fact all the non-Mexican guests were denied. Leaves a very bad taste.

In February of 2024, my wife and I stayed at the Decameron La Marina hotel in noisy Guayabitos, and it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The rooms had no sound proofing. The incessant noise from the surrounding area made it impossible to relax or get a decent night's sleep. From multiple brass bands playing on the beach and hotel music through loudspeakers or hotel events through loudspeakers, (all in Spanish) there was nowhere on site to relax till after 10pm when MOST nights, the music was done. Karaoke was everynight between 9pm and 10pm or shortly after. Then it was just the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. That was soothing. The hotel staff seemed indifferent to the issue as it is part of their culture. Additionally, the newer hotel rooms were already in need of repair, with uncomfortable torn beds, basic furnishings (no mini fridge or hooks to hang a towel), and corroded bathroom fixtures. The tap water to wash in or brush your teeth tasted like it had grit in it and had a hint of sewage and salt smell. The food at the on-site buffet was subpar and mediocre at best, and the overall atmosphere lacked charm. (netting around the restaurant to keep the birds out was stretched or torn). The only reason for a two star review is the staff were clean and friendly. I'd look elsewhere for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat. Unless you speak perfect Spanish and like noise

The beach is extremely busy and unpleasant. The area around the hotel is really not that great at all with garbage piles left in the streets in multiple spots.The hotel is very disappointing. There was drilling above us one night at 4am. Another night, we had the room lights come on by themselves randomly multiple times in the middle of the night. Our kids had cockroaches in their room and their air conditioning also didn’t work well and it dripped a big puddle onto the floor daily. There was a big vent that spewed out a horrible deep fryer grease smell outside of our room. The food and drinks were ok but it was basically the same food with just a slightly different twist each day. The staff were extremely nice. However the one fellow that works at the front said he would personally drive us to the airport early in the morning and then he never showed up leaving us to scramble to get a cab.

Everything is great. The staff are very nice and friendly. The room is simple and functional. Because we're in the holiday season, we often have to wait in line for dinner. Also, since the beach is not private, it always busy and the chairs are occupied all day long.

Did not get the room I paid for

This was the worst place my family and i have stayed at on a holiday. The food was mediocre at best and the coffee machine was broken 50 percent of the time. There was nobody in the pool and when my 4 and 6 year old jumped in they were told they werent allowed to jump in! Our flight was delayed and we were told that we would get refunded for that night which never happened. Apparently i didnt book my kids on the reservation and they wouldnt let them in so i had to contact expedia who said i had to talk to them and was told i owed another 1500 dollars. We felt unwelcome and that we were an annoyance. Our rooms air conditioner leaked all over the floor i could go on and on. Zero stars dont stay here very stressful.

Pesima atención de el recepcionista Daniel, cero información, solo nos entrego llaves de habitaciones y no nos brindo información de el hotel, esta lindo el hotel pero les falta brindar muchísima atención e información.

La recepción fue muy lenta, se notaba que no sabían utilizar el sistema.

Excelentes instalaciones, nuestra estancia en pareja todo incluido fue fabulosa ya que había mucha atención de parte del personal en todas las áreas.

Great spot for the price. Was a little frustrating with how difficult it was to book a la carts restaurants after being told you would have access to all 3 Decameron properties in Guayabitos. But it was otherwise as advertised, clean, friendly, and great for the price. Definitely helps if you speak Spanish - it is a very local destination (what we wanted) vs international guests. Felt authentic and also still very inviting

We’ve never had issues getting lounge chairs out front, the beach in front of the hotel is always clean and there is a security guard watching over the area. We have never once felt unsafe while staying here. The grounds are kept very clean, there’s always somebody doing maintenance and our housekeeping staff for the daily room tidy has done an excellent job. Now, onto the cons. The beds are not comfortable, but we have stayed in other places in Mexico and found that to be the same thing. They’re just very firm. Also, if you would like to have a quiet time earlier than 10-11pm, This is not the place for you. During the day there is music playing at the pool (which is spotless btw) and at night from 9-10 there’s karaoke or a band, it sometimes stretches past the 10pm mark. Also, at times there are “beach mariachi bands” that are hired by people staying in the hotel that play long past 11pm and it is quite loud. If you want a relaxing quiet oasis then this is not it. But overall we have been happy with our stays.

En general ofrecen un buen servicio, ya es la segunda vez que me quedo en ese hotel , solo tiene algunos detalles que siguen sin gustarme: la comida se termina si no corres a la hora en que abren el restaurante, yo creo que si hay un horario para cada comida, debería haber suficiente para todos, otra cosa el que he visto en otros hoteles es que deberían prohibir apartar camastros, porque algunos duran todo el día apartados y nadie los utiliza y finalmenre, el check-in, en el hotel nos dijeron que era de 3 a 4 pm y no a las 3 como dice al momento de la reservación, para que lo consideres, además, no había préstamo de bicicletas aunque ahí las tenían ni tampoco de kayak, tablas, etc, tenias que ir al otro hotel .

Paid for a room that I did not pay for. Details regarding accommodations for dinner were never specified even though I showed up early to add myself to the list in which isn’t even taken into account. missed my opportunity due to the long line at the other hotels. Reservations are required to to eat at the other hotels and wait in long lines, even with their reservation system
