They are currently remodeling so the lobby area is not complete but room was nice, clean, and AC was cold. Would stay again. It is a Best Western Heritage Inn so don’t be surprised when you map it.

The hotel is under construction and it was not in the website to notify guests. Strong smells of paints and dust. Very hard for allergies. But other than that, the people were great

We found an open box of cereal in the drawer. The refrigerator did not work and the staff was hesitant to replace the unit. The pump for the pool was not working. This was a stay in June.

New name, hard to find, under remodeling, no ice in 1 of only 2 machines, neither of which on my floor, a/c unit wouldn't set correctly, 1 of 2 nightstands missing, usb plug by bed not working.

We have stayed here before it was bought out by Best Western and it was nice, clean and reasonable. Now, they are in the middle of remodeling and should not be renting with the condition of property. The entrance is flanked by dumpsters and sheetrock dust and piles of trash from the remodel greet you when you walk into lobby. The front desk was covered with dusty plastic sheeting. The dining room and fitness were stripped down to the sheetrock and concrete floors, just like lobby. Other than workers we only saw two other couples renting rooms. The rooms were incomplete as far as furniture, curtains and light fixtures and quality of mismatched furniture looked cheap quality. They would not discount our rooms after we said it was too late to book elsewhere. They should have put the condition of the hotel in the description on Expedia as it is now and not how it used to be. Stil makes me mad when I think about it!

The staff were AMAZING and the room was clean. The hotel is working on Sheetrock and the dust was so think in the air. As a result of the renovation there were no public spaces to sit when checking in l, no business room and no exercise room. Our room still had some patching to complete and although we had a beautiful new lamp, it didn’t have a light bulb. This issue was t about to be resolved

Did not get the room I booked. Was in a handicap room, not a suite like I booked. No walk in shower, nor was there a love seat. The sheets were dirty, the air conditioner stopped working during the night, and the shower curtain hanger was loose causing the curtain to be unable to stay closed. One of the reasons I booked a room with a walk in shower. Very dissatisfied with everything involving this experience

I booked a king suite and was put in a double queen room due to overbooking even though I booked a monster higher and my card was on file to charge. I was called earlier that day and told if they couldn't run my card at that time before champion that I would lose my reservation. Once we checked in took a shower and lay down for the night we will woke up around midnight with bed bugs all over us and had to find another hotel.

Overall not bad, the service was good. The issues were the bathroom sink plug would not release and the toilet seat was not connected to the base which made for an unexpected ride. Breakfast was good, lots of choices for a contential option

Very good property, looks exactly like the pictures. Room was very nice. They need to put more towels but, I understand why they don’t. Much check to make sure appliances work as the refrigerator never got cold or even cool.

This motel appears to have gone through a recent remodeling. Everything looked new. I had a King room and the bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, The bathroom had towels and shampoo, conditioner, etc. in the shower. The towels were thick and soft. The only negatives were the lighting is not sufficient for reading in bed and there was seldom anyone at the front desk. I had to leave the key on the front desk because there was no one there. I had to call twice to get a receipt for my stay. Overall it was a clean motel at a good price compared to others I considered in Lafayette, LA.

It was sufficient for what we needed! The room felt like it had been renovated but not completely! There was a light outside our window and the curtains didn’t block it out There was nothing that was a turn off just a few “ not quite right’.

The property and initial service was good. But when a bus load of teenagers came in at about 9:30, they were talking loud in the hall, slamming doors and jumping around the floor above and the rooms next door until midnight. This was very close to the front desk and could easily be heard by the night manager who did nothing to quiet them down.

Loud! Just happened to have a travel softball team from Texas staying also. Children ran the halls until 11pm and after. Adults talking loud in hallway was aggravating as well. Breakfast was sparse with very limited seating. Trash accumulated in hall by doors. Might have been a better stay without the loud and inconsiderate Texas group. Front desk attendant was wonderful. She was friendly and efficient.

Air conditioner did not work. We tried to call front desk numerous times, no answer. Went down to desk, no one was there so we slept horrible and sweated all night. Throw up stains were on bed skirting .

I was in town for a softball tournament and Ms. Michelle at the front desk was polite and very understanding- we had a 7hour gap in between games and she went ABOVE and BEYOND to do what she could to get me and my daughter into a room early ! The customer service is top tier and the upgrades to the hotel look amazing . Looking forward to our future stays and seeing Ms. Michelle soon

The hotel was clean. It's an average hotel for a decent price in the area. I would stay there again based on that. Checking in was good but, at check out, the person at the desk was rude. He was too busy on his phone. Customer service was just not a priority.

Bedrooms are fine, but overall, the hotel looks unfinished or poorly maintained : in our room, the toilet was leaking and there was no towel rack. The breakfast is grossly lacking.

Loud! Just happened to have a travel softball team from Texas staying also. Children ran the halls until 11pm and after. Adults talking loud in hallway was aggravating as well. Breakfast was sparse with very limited seating. Trash accumulated in hall by doors. Might have been a better stay without the loud and inconsiderate Texas group. Front desk attendant was wonderful. She was friendly and efficient.

The hotel was under construction which I was not informed about when booking our over night stay. We booked two rooms and were were put in rooms 102 and 108. - the rooms were incomplete - missing a desk - missing night stand between bed - lamp had no bulb - dirt towel left on shoe rod in bath room . Then to top it off Saturday morning - a full team of construction workers started up at 8 am - hammering, sawing pounding - we had two babies with us and they were woken up - The entire stay was a night mare. We went to get our continental breakfast at 8 am and there was nothing left. If breakfast is till 9 am - I would think food would be replenished until the cut off time ! The hotel had good reviews that’s why I booked it!! I really would appreciate a refund !!

Check in was easy, room was extremely clean, and stocked with toiletries, towels, etc... pool was a little cloudy (Louisiana water) , but clean and relaxing.

When we checked in, we did not have any hot water in our room. So I went to the desk and asked the worker if there was a trick to make the hot water work. She told me she would put maintenance on it the next day. The next day, after getting home from being at the ball field all day, I asked if my room was fixed and the response I got was that they had to order a part and thank you for letting them know so that the next guest would have hot water! I asked about moving rooms and was told that she could not authorize that and that they were fully booked. I had to call the manager on Monday to discuss with them. After calling the manager, she tells me that they were not fully booked and that they could have moved me rooms, but the woman did not move me. Then offered to give me one night stay refund back. The following day I checked my account and they charged me another night stay of $96 and change. I called again and was told the night audit person messed up that they would refund it back to me. Four days later I checked my account and they refund me the 96 and some change that they had charged me so I still never got refunded one night after going tonight with no hot water in our room for 2 nights!
