Designer River View Apartments

The modern renovated appartment was not clean at all. The joint between floor and walls were dirty, the walls were dirty. The bathroom was the worse. It was full of ants, we killed around 20 per day and they kept coming back. The shower was urgh, blood and boogers on the white shower curtain. I’ve never seen anything like it. The good points : The location is really good. Close to Las Olas Blvd, close to the beach. The pool was clean and hot.

They require an online checkin, which you need to have completed before they give you acces to the property. I did a last moment booking, and it took me more than an hour on the phone with them to get the access to the unit. In the checkin porcess, they ask, amongst other things like a selfie, for a copy of your drivers license or passport. They do not specify that you need to give your passport if you do ot have a US drivers license. Their computer system doesnt allow you to change the type of document, so after it rejected my non-US drivers license, I wasnt able to upload a picture of my passport. Very frustrating! Then they asked me why I was renting the apartment. They said they asked because my phone number had the same area code as the location of the unit. I also experienced lots of confusion with regard to the parking space where I was to park. I told them that the unit that I was assigned had a car in it, and they told me to still park there when it became available. It ended up that I got a note from another unit owner saying that the space tht I was assigned was their space as per the terms of their apartment lease. Overall, the place was good value for the money, but I did get a very good deal because I booked last moment. The bed was comfortable, it was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Please note that there is no dishwasher.

The location was incredibly convenient to lots of attractions. The pool was great and we had it to ourselves most of the time we were there. The room was clean. You can tell it's an older building, but overall for the price point and location, it felt like a great value!

This is a wonderful, peaceful oasis right on the new river. It has a free water taxi stop right behind the complex that will take you to stops all along the riverwalk. You can find any kind of food or entertainment and easily return on the water taxi. It was nice to just watch the boats cruising up and down the river. The apartment is clean, updated, and no odors at all. It had a nice fully equipted kitchen for us to cook our favorites and stay in. The pool and grounds were lovely and felt very safe. There was an assigned parking space close to our unit always available. There was a great foam matress on the king bed with very soft cotton sheets. The unit had its own private central cooling system. The complex had a respected 10 pm quiet time so we slept well. The managment staff through rocketstay were excellent and quickly responsive to any questions. They regularly communicated by email to see if everything was satisfactory. This was my favorite stay in Fort Lauderdale so far. I don't want to stay anyplace else when I visit again.

The location was fantastic …right on the river, walkable to Las Olas Blvd. What we loved most about the apartment were the large windows and incredible views of the river and boats passing by. The apartment was very spacious and our teenagers appreciated their own beds in their own room. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The pool at the property was great as well and we also took advantage of the laundry facilities at the complex itself. Communication with the host was excellent. Always got a reply within few minutes no matter what our question was. Very helpful, kind and pleasant to deal with. Would love to come back and would definitely recommend to others.

Good location at one end of the Riverwalk. Easy check in with clear instructions for parking and code for unit door. Comfortable bed, place smelled pleasantly of cleaning supplies when I arrived. Unit next door was noisy (children playing, adult voices, dog barking). Luckily the bedroom was at the end of the building and quieter. Wifi access code was changed without notice. Emailed Rocketstay about lack of access but got no reply. After waiting 12 hours I tracked down a phone number and was able to get the new code. Two mornings there was no hot water for a shower.

Per the email instructions, we arrived at the property. Upon entering the rental there was no furniture in the apartment! Called the property, they kept on directing us to other rooms that were already occupied with other guests. Our parking spot was never guaranteed! We had to constantly call them to assign us a new spot ( because someone was parked in ours ). The place is extremely outdated! Would not recommend

The apartment was very clean and comfortable inside. It's in a fantastic location right on the New River and right across the river from great resaurants on Las Olas Blvd. There is a free water trolly that takes you across the river. It is a great place to walk very pretty at night. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. The pool furniture needs to be updated but the pool was clean and very relaxing. We would definitely visit again. Very good value for the money.

This stay was amazing! This is the best place to stay at in Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood. There is on site parking included in stay, huge plus! The Main Street with all the restaurants is a short walk away. You have access to a river right outside and a pool to sun bathe. There is no noise at night and no one to bother you. We will definitely be using this place for our future visits to FLL in 2023.

The place needs updating. The verticals kept falling, the kitchen missed every day things like a can opener or a measuring cup, kitchen towel. There was one roll of paper toilet for two weeks. We had to go and buy toilet paper, Kleenex (none provided). The pool is not heated no one used it until the last day when a young boy played in it. Photos were misleading. Ok if you’re not going to cook or for a couple of days.

I rented this property on 8/16-18. I was waiting for my apartment to be available for my move in date the on Aug 20th. Plus it was my son birthday weekend. I got to the property and the bathroom had mole on the walls. The shower curtain was pink. The apartment had a smell to it. I figured since I am here I might as well stay. I went to pick my son up from school came back no lights. Called the number that text me no help. At that moment I told them I don’t wanna stay here I would poke my $250 hold back so I can’t get someplace else. I was told they have to speak to the team and they would get back to me that was at 3pm. No one got back to me so I knew then I would have to stay at least the night. I ran to family dollar and target to get supplies to at lease clean the apartment so we can feel a little comfortable. I spent 50 dollars at family dollar and $42 at target. The apartment still felt dirty and no matter how I cleaned and the smell was not going away. I called them to get the status of my refund and got the team is working on getting you another room that didn’t happen until after 2 the next day and that apartment was also like the one I was currently in. I took pictures and sent it to them by email. And told him I won’t be staying in this apartment either to please give me back the $250 hold so I can find a new place. I kept being told it takes 7-10 business days and the cleaner has to come check there is no damage before the process can even start.

From booking our stay the communication was outstanding. We arrived at the property and were impressed with the cleanliness of the space, it was spotless! The views of the river were amazing! The location was perfect and much more affordable than other places in the area. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding was so clean (white). The kitchen had everything we needed and there were basic toiletry items in the bathrooms. The decor was minimalistic but we like that. On our second day a little box of chocolates was delivered to our apartment which was a nice touch. We did not use it but there is a nice pool area next to the river. Overall we were very happy and would definitely choose to stay here again.

The checkin was very seamless and they allowed us to store our luggage before the apartment was available. The hot water was not working. We had to take cold showers the entire time we were there. The overall cleanliness was average with a build up of dust on the baseboards and in the corners. The bed felt like you were sleeping on a piece of foam.

The host was responsive and cordial. However, I was absolutely shocked and disappointed on arrival to the property. The building is poorly maintained and the unit was filthy.

Pics made it looks much nicer than it actually was. Shower was disgusting with hair on the wall and drain. Water was yellow in the shower.

It was a short stay, but safe clean

Hello, I want to say thank you for the service your guys have been offering me during my stay. It was more than a pleasure to stay at Artrageous, the place was clean and quiet I will definitely come back very soon. 5***** well deserved .

Don’t stay here, there are roaches everywhere. The place has seen better days which is fine but the lack of hygiene is not okay. Was sitting in the couch and a roach walked on my arm. I got up and there were roaches on the couch. I ran to the shower and when I opened the water 3 other roaches jumped out. I promptly contacted the property and they denied ever having that issue but the amount of roaches is a clear sign of an infestation. I had to book another place because I could not stay there and the property did not issue a reimbursement for the night I checked out early due to the roaches.

Checked in and the room it was filthy. The tub was disgusting, walls in every room are nasty, someone’s underwear were left in the closet and the couch was so gross. I was told the couch had bleach stain, lie! I was moved to another room which was better but I needed 3 beds but this unit only had two but yet wayyyy better except still the walls were disgusting. I was told I would get my deposit back, a refund for one night, a voucher to refund and wouldn’t have to pay the cleaning fee. None of which took place and when I inquired they kept saying they had to reach out to the team. There’s no reception. You can only text to contact someone. The door lock kept locking and unlocking during the night so my kids said they didn’t feel safe so we ended our trip a day early. Today is my final day reaching out to them and they disabled messaging until I said I was writing a bad review. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with kids because of lack of cleanliness, you won’t get your money back and bring some Clorox and prepare to clean the unit yourself!

Tv in living room didn't work they never come and fix it. They did call me apologizing. They sorry, but they never come and fix the tv. 5 days nobody come and fix.

First impressions were very underwhelming considering the beautiful homes and luxury apartments that surround the property. The property itself is lacking in landscaping and there was really nothing appealing about the looks of the building or property. The 2 bedroom unit that we stayed in was immaculately clean, but you can tell that it is an older building with no glitz or glam. The window blinds were falling off or just completely missing on most of the windows. The bathroom layout was awkward being shared between the 2 bedrooms, and the shower curtain did nothing to help keep the water in the shower, so every morning we ended up cleaning up puddles of water. The kitchen is not stocked at all. If you are hoping to cook any sort of meal, you will need to provide all of the necessary ingredients, and the cookware itself was lacking. I was also surprised to see that there were no cleaning products or garbage bags left for us to use. That being said, the location of this apartment is EVERYTHING! If you can get over the no frills apartment, and are looking for a place that is close to all of the action, this is it! The apartment is located across the river on the opposite side of Las Olas Blvd. You will see all of the boats and yachts sail by, but you don’t have to deal with the craziness (or the price) of being directly on Las Olas. Everything is within a walkable distance. Hands down, we would absolutely stay here again!!

Pros: The bedding was very comfortable, the price was good, and it was pretty clean inside. Cons: There was a lot of noise (music, talking loudly) every night, late at night. I dont know if the noise was coming from the property or not; regardless, it was difficult for us to sleep. We also had cold water in the shower. It took 3 days for the handyman to come out to fix the problem. He said he had been at another property during those 3 days. We left the night before to stay at a hotel because we needed a good night's sleep.

Overall a nice place to stay- the apts are somewhat dated both inside and out, but the location is very good. Just don’t make this one mistake- don’t think that any one will be able to sleep on the pull out sofa- it is the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on.

We just stayed at Artrageous for 6 nights as we decommissioned our yacht for sale. The apartment was perfect, very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. We slept like babies in the super comfy bed and the kitchen was well equipped for preparing simple meals. The location is very close to the main downtown Fort Lauderdale area with tons of restaurants, bars and boutiques. We will definitely be back!

The host’s were excellent! Friendly prompt response and dealt with all in a very professional manner.

We had a fantastic four-night stay with my family, including our little kids. The communication with the host was effortless, and the hotel's location is perfect for easy access to shopping and restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely return.

Clean apartment, had everything we needed. Close to restaurants and train stations

It was a good value for the money. The location is excellent - right in the downtown, and you can walk to shops and restaurants (take a free water trolley to cross the river). The apartment was clean and nicely furnished. They provided coffee which was great because we didn’t bring ours. Overall it was a nice stay, very convenient and affordable. We would highly recommend it to families.
