The luxury tent was so spacious and comfortable with well designed spaces. We slept so deeply! Loved the park like setting, family s'mores, pool and spa, and the full service bar. Continental breakfast had wonderful muffins we grabbed to go for morning hikes. Excellent coffee. Loved the service. Loved the convenience of the shuttle to go to Bar Harbor or Acadia Visitor Center. My daughter, 6, cried when we checked out, always a good sign that we stayed at a wonderful place.

Good WiFi. Staff was extremely helpful and honest. They didn’t convince you to check out places or order expensive things that weren’t the best. They’d advise you on best options for what you’re looking for. They thought of everything. Wagons for moving luggage and firewood, strategically placed bins for covered trash and recycling bins, portable coolers, ice bag access, walking sticks, binoculars, heaters, corkscrew, coffee filters, robes, place to store wood. Good choice of games at the pavilion. Great included daily breakfast. Pool was a good temperature with shade and sunny areas and a clean spacious bathroom. I would rave more but am afraid it would get too popular and we couldn’t book a tent in the future.

I have looked forward to my stay at this resort. The temperature was great for a couple of days but then the temperature dropped. They have very poor space heaters for the tents. The past 2 mornings it’s been in the lows 40s during the night. Whenever I asked the front desk for additional heating I was told no. They offered an additional blanket. The hot tub was also not working and after walking there the woods to get to the hot tub we had to walk back in the cold wet. Visitors need to be aware of the possibility of no heating if the weather is not ideal.

The cabins were beautiful, well maintained, cozy, and clean. The space heaters kept it perfectly warm. We loved our personal firepit. We had trouble getting our fire started but the wood was too wet so someone was so nice and came by our campsite to help get a fire started. Everyone that worked there was friendly and willing to help. The lodge was cozy and had live music at night. There were board games and telescopes. There were yard games. We also used to pool and hot tub, both perfectly warm. This was my first time making drip coffee and it came out great. I was definitely recommend this place and will be coming back

Perfect place to spend a few days while experiencing Acadia. The tent was beautiful and lived up to the glampy hype - luxurious bedding, private fire pit, full bathroom and hot water, portable heaters if it was cold. We played cards at night in the lounge and used the hot tub after hiking and sightseeing. Loved that it was centrally located, we could easily drive to Bar Harbor or into the left or right side of the park in 10-20 minutes. Enjoyed the hot pumpkin muffins and coffee in the morning. Very special place.

Terramor is beautiful, fun and relaxing. Everything on the property is new and fresh. Our tent had plenty of space. The outdoor shower was a treat. The bathroom was high quality. We appreciated the complimentary firewood, ice and delicious breakfast. We ate dinner here one night and it was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the astronomy talk. We would have loved to stay longer.

Terramor was a unique and fun option for camping that didn’t include the full commitment of pitching your own tent or packing your shower shoes. The staff was super friendly and resort was clean throughout. I was just a bit disappointed in the amentities provided with the price point of the tents. For the cost per night, I would expect the complimentary breakfast to include a hot line, the hot tub to work and units to cool down the tents. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend spending the costs on a tent here when you can stay closer to town in a hotel with better amenities for a lesser price

WOW cannot say enough good about Terramor. We randomly came across it on expedia and it was a HUGE part of why we loved our trip to Acadia. It's about 10-15 minutes from the park entrance, the food at the restaurant is delicious, the included breakfast was really good for a not hot cooked food breakfast. The tents are so fun. Ours had it's own fire pit and they provide wood and matches, the tents are so so cool! They're beautiful and the perfect way to feel like you're camping but having everything you need. We flew to Maine so had zero camping supplies and lacked for nothing. Terramor has thought of everything, we were continually impressed. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub which was open while we were there. The staff was kind and helpful, the property and lodge is so beautiful, and overall we just absolutely loved it!

We rented two tents (Bayberry) for five nights in mid-September. We were very pleased with the Terramor. The lodge was modern and well-staffed. The continental breakfast was terrific. We loved our tents--comfortable beds, nice bathroom, clean, etc. A nice change from a typical hotel room.

Unique luxury camping experience in the nature. Love the environment and the cabins location far apart from each other. They’ve outdoor activities and the area is super clean. Tents are well maintained and clean. Plenty of space and kids friendly. Highly recommended for elevate your experience together with Acadia National Park visit.

Second year staying here, but wasn’t exactly as good as it was the first. Some complaints (All that the front desk were very receptive to but offered nothing but an apology for the inconvenience): -before trip after booking I called to try to get the same tent as last year but they wanted over $200 to hold that ten for us. I would hope that is being continued customers they would have accommodated us and also they had sent me a $100 off coupon from last year that they wouldn’t amend. -Check in took sometime as the guy running the desk saw me coming and decided that running off to go cart someone some where was more important. Left me at the desk for like 10mins with other staff calling him. We were exhausted after our 10hr drive. -Our room was as clean as we liked it; few towels were dirty, spider webs and floor of shower was dirty. -Was disturbed mid day while tent was open, in bed by a maintenance staff member who needed to do something with the windows, our two dogs started barking and jumping on the tents front porch. This could have easily been a bite incident and happy our dogs just warn us. Could have had a heads up text or phone call this was going to happen before hand instead of being u expected. Other then those things it was a great stay and would consider staying here again or maybe trying somewhere else next time.

Spiders in the tent. Lack of heating they have this portable heater but too small to warm up the whole place. Idk I just felt unsafe sleeping without a lock in the tent and there's no one rounding the area at night. Also for the price, no cooking and grill area is per reservation only, not worth it. Then their free breakfast it's same food everyday they serve this ice cold boiled egg. I went for breakfast with my sleepwear on, and the staff ate looking at me very weird, I felt uncomfortable. Nothing much here Aside from the aesthetic of the place.

The property was beautifully maintained, and there were several very nice complimentary perks offered, from firewood for fires outside the tent to telescopes, walking sticks, etc. The tent was very clean, and the shower was amazing. Note - it is essentially fancy camping, so there are bugs, cold, etc., but the tent has heaters and blankets, so quite manageable, even in chilly October. If you’re a city person, and camping isn’t really your thing, this may be the solution for you. If you already love camping, this place will be absolute luxury. The staff are amazing, and the food was incredible. We didn’t get to enjoy the heated pool area, as we had not thought to bring swimsuits, but it looked wonderful, and we wished we could have enjoyed it. Wonderful place. Check it out!

Clean tents, convenient and simple to get around. Breakfast was simple and easy with kids. Everything is about a 15 min drive - but still not bad given the experience.

Our tent was amazing- Everything was well appointed, comfortable, and better than we expected, except our tent was one of a few that backed up to a busy road. I was expecting a peaceful outdoor retreat and instead heard mostly road noise all night. Our view was of the road and other houses. Also, since we booked right before busy season, not everything was offered or available. I would have been more upset if I had paid full price for this booking.

Great concept. Tents were large, showers great, and a nice experience too. Focused mostly on families with young children. If you want quiet before 10pm, you may not like it here. You can hear neighboring tents, even though they are spaced nicely. It didn’t bother us. Close to Acadia.
Great concept. Tents were large, showers great, and a nice experience too. Focused mostly on families with young children. If you want quiet before 10pm, you may not like it here. You can hear neighboring tents, even though they are spaced nicely. It didn’t bother us. Close to Acadia.

Perfect place to spend a few days while experiencing Acadia. The tent was beautiful and lived up to the glampy hype - luxurious bedding, private fire pit, full bathroom and hot water, portable heaters if it was cold. We played cards at night in the lounge and used the hot tub after hiking and sightseeing. Loved that it was centrally located, we could easily drive to Bar Harbor or into the left or right side of the park in 10-20 minutes. Enjoyed the hot pumpkin muffins and coffee in the morning. Very special place.

The only frustration we encountered was less than optimal Wi-Fi access in the tents. Everything else was sublime and a wonderful combination between camping and luxury. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The was delicious. It was really a great experience.

Quiet, peaceful and close to all of Acadia and MDI! Beds were super comfortable. In-tent amenities were outstanding. And, the continental breakfast was more than enough to give us energy for the day’s hiking. Great place to stay. Would definitely book again.

The tent itself was very nice. It had a full bathroom with a toilet/running water/shower and heaters. The bed was very comfortable. Our tent specifically was located near to the busy road so you could hear the road noise. It isn’t isolated and the other tents were in close proximity. There is no way at all to lock the tent when you leave. We left for a hike and someone had gone into our tent and turned on the electric ceiling fan (by remote control) and ate (or just took) some of our food. We saw crumbs and pieces of food left on the porch. It definitely wasn’t an animal because they closed the empty box of food perfectly and left it right where we had it, rezippered the tent & redid the mosquito netting. They didn’t take any of our other belongings but we were so unsettled by the thought someone had been in there that we left a night early. You need to request housekeeping the day prior to when you want it so we know it wasn’t them just going in either. It might have been kids messing around but we felt too uncomfortable to stay and find out. The assistant manager at the front desk told us he never heard of anything like this happening before but he refunded us for the one night. We ended up leaving immediately and driving back to Boston very shaken up. I understand there are certain risks involved in camping but I feel that if you’re paying all this money there should be some method to lock up.

Unique glamping style resort! Tents and lodge feel very luxurious and modern. Staff was excellent and super friendly. Loved the outdoor glamping despite it being a little cold at night but to be expected when sleeping in a tent.

Second year staying here, but wasn’t exactly as good as it was the first. Some complaints (All that the front desk were very receptive to but offered nothing but an apology for the inconvenience): -before trip after booking I called to try to get the same tent as last year but they wanted over $200 to hold that ten for us. I would hope that is being continued customers they would have accommodated us and also they had sent me a $100 off coupon from last year that they wouldn’t amend. -Check in took sometime as the guy running the desk saw me coming and decided that running off to go cart someone some where was more important. Left me at the desk for like 10mins with other staff calling him. We were exhausted after our 10hr drive. -Our room was as clean as we liked it; few towels were dirty, spider webs and floor of shower was dirty. -Was disturbed mid day while tent was open, in bed by a maintenance staff member who needed to do something with the windows, our two dogs started barking and jumping on the tents front porch. This could have easily been a bite incident and happy our dogs just warn us. Could have had a heads up text or phone call this was going to happen before hand instead of being u expected. Other then those things it was a great stay and would consider staying here again or maybe trying somewhere else next time.

We arrived early and our room was not ready- no problem. Came back hours later to a very overly full parking lot . Couldn’t park close to our tent- you have to haul all your stuff yourself. Kitchen shut down- we were starving, all because they were doing a benefit. Wish they would have let us know. Communication is key. Then to find out pool shuts down at 8 for kids- seriously? Then, Quiet time at 10- really? It’s summer. Other than our first day , things were good and it was a nice outdoor resort. Bed was very comfy. Nice shower, but hot water runs out quickly. Would I do it again? Probably not. I don’t like mosquitos. However, I am glad my family and I experienced it.

Really a fantastic stay. The space was outstanding, food was great, staff was legendary, and it's 5 or 10 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. My family can't wait to go back.

Loved coming home to a glamorous, extremely well-appointed tent. There’s nothing the resort didn’t think about in terms of room amenities. The easily-accessible breakfast at the sun-drenched modern lodge was lovely. A bit disappointed by road noise at night, lack of protein (I.e., eggs) at breakfast and confusion about when and even if the hot tub was available in the evening. Staff pleasant but not the most attentive.

The grounds were very well manicured but lacked warmth and an outdoor communal space. I expected more campfires around a common area for kids to play and run around. Also, some of the tents were near noisy parking lots. When I asked to change my tent, one front desk person (I think he was a "manager") was quite rude. He shouldn't be in the hospitality business, especially for luxury resort. The other staff members were great and the accommodations were superb.

I am not a camping type person. My husband is a camping in a tent, sleeping on the ground kind of guy. This beautiful compromise was perfect. I got a bed, indoor plumbing, and a great porch for sitting. We used the fire pit every night to relax. The food at the lodge was great and the staff was charming and helpful. Perfect for visiting both Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

My kids loved the pool. My husband and I loved how the property was designed with modern amenities in a nature setting AND environment conscious. We enjoyed the programs offered (yoga, bee keeping, and s’mores) and breakfasts were definitely above average. The property is close to Acadia but did not seem to have it’s own running trails and, on the back end, is closer to a busy road than expected.

Highly recommend if you haven’t tried Glamping. A bit pricey for the type of facility and amenities, but still a great experience. I would consider doing this again if discounted price were available. Location was 20 minutes from Bar Harbor and 15 from Acadia NP.

WOW cannot say enough good about Terramor. We randomly came across it on expedia and it was a HUGE part of why we loved our trip to Acadia. It's about 10-15 minutes from the park entrance, the food at the restaurant is delicious, the included breakfast was really good for a not hot cooked food breakfast. The tents are so fun. Ours had it's own fire pit and they provide wood and matches, the tents are so so cool! They're beautiful and the perfect way to feel like you're camping but having everything you need. We flew to Maine so had zero camping supplies and lacked for nothing. Terramor has thought of everything, we were continually impressed. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub which was open while we were there. The staff was kind and helpful, the property and lodge is so beautiful, and overall we just absolutely loved it!

The location was great. The lodge was amazing. Breakfast was great with a good variety and tons of fresh fruit. Pool and hot tub were perfect and relaxing even in October. Our tent was a great size and included all the amenities of a regular hotel. The beds were very comfy and the shower was perfect. My husband loved having his own fir pit. Customer service, especially Jerme, was exceptional. I'm a total city girl and would stay at Terramore again without hesitation. The only thing I didn't like was the constant dampness on clothes, bedding, towels, floors. It isn't Terramore issue, but wanted to note for any future guests.

We rented two tents (Bayberry) for five nights in mid-September. We were very pleased with the Terramor. The lodge was modern and well-staffed. The continental breakfast was terrific. We loved our tents--comfortable beds, nice bathroom, clean, etc. A nice change from a typical hotel room.

The luxury tent was so spacious and comfortable with well designed spaces. We slept so deeply! Loved the park like setting, family s'mores, pool and spa, and the full service bar. Continental breakfast had wonderful muffins we grabbed to go for morning hikes. Excellent coffee. Loved the service. Loved the convenience of the shuttle to go to Bar Harbor or Acadia Visitor Center. My daughter, 6, cried when we checked out, always a good sign that we stayed at a wonderful place.

The tent was so clean and had minimal bugs, loved the decor and the bathroom/shower within the tent. Once the windows were closed fully the coldness was bearable with the space heater. The breakfast food options were disappointing though

This property advertises itself as offering high-end cuisine, with "chef-inspired" meals and "seasonal, locally sourced produce," where meals are a "celebration of the region." Nothing could be further from the truth. On the first night, we ordered the flatbread, which was burnt and blackened on the bottom. The other options were not much better. On the second night, we asked for the flatbread not to be burnt, but they burned it again anyway. We also tried the grill kit, which again, used promising language to lure us in, but the meat was terrible, there was no cooking oil or anything to cook with beside the actual grill, and they didn't even give us what we had ordered. Lastly, the breakfast was store-bought baked goods unworthy of a Hampton Inn breakfast. The tents were nice and the grounds were clean, but I choose accommodations primarily based on food, and this false advertising really upset me. Overall, management and quality control seem to be totally lacking in the food department. Terramor is in need of an adjustment. What initially feels to be pitched as a quiet, modern experience doesn't entirely mesh with the multitude of families with young children and noise that accompanied our stay. Had I known this would be the case I likely still would have booked, but there is a general lack of amenities to reinforce either of these potentials as the intended experience from the staff. I can only imagine how this would have felt for the two couples staying here while we were that were on their honeymoon. There are no frills to be seen here despite a not-cheap nightly rate. The restaurant is very tasty, but expensive and is counter-service only. Meals can be around $30/plate and draft beer around $9/pint. The complementary breakfast is paltry during the week: they even ran out of bagels and yogurt one morning. If you stay over the weekend, you'll get pancakes and bacon--no compensatory perk for weekday guests (flatly insulting). The resort itself is bare: the pool and hot tub were dirty, the mattress lumpy, the only activity on the grounds is a single cornhole set, and even trash services have to be scheduled. Overall, I just don't know who Terramor is for. Families with young children will likely want something more for their children to do (or eat) while couples will be lacking more of a serene experience suggested by the resort's marketing. It was a fine resort, but it is far overpriced.

Families with young children will likely want something more for their children to do (or eat) while couples will be lacking more of a serene experience suggested by the resort's marketing. It was a fine resort, but it is far overpriced.

Only complaint is the breakfast was so limited - would have been good to have more hot eggs or variety - did not try dinner for fear it would be the same. Pool is lovely and tent accommodations great

Terramor was a great alternative to your typical hotel experience. Very dog friendly. It was great to have our own private campfire right near our tent. Only complaint is that the food menu that was posted online for the restaurant was not the same as what was actually available, which was a very limited menu. The food was good, just not enough variety.

Amazing place to stay! The pour over coffee in the tent was delicious! We had a fire both nights, so comfy. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool, both were quiet and peaceful. We ate dinner at the resort both nights. All the food was really good and it was so convenient. We loved everything about our stay and would return in a heart beat!

WOW cannot say enough good about Terramor. We randomly came across it on expedia and it was a HUGE part of why we loved our trip to Acadia. It's about 10-15 minutes from the park entrance, the food at the restaurant is delicious, the included breakfast was really good for a not hot cooked food breakfast. The tents are so fun. Ours had it's own fire pit and they provide wood and matches, the tents are so so cool! They're beautiful and the perfect way to feel like you're camping but having everything you need. We flew to Maine so had zero camping supplies and lacked for nothing. Terramor has thought of everything, we were continually impressed. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub which was open while we were there. The staff was kind and helpful, the property and lodge is so beautiful, and overall we just absolutely loved it!

Loved coming home to a glamorous, extremely well-appointed tent. There’s nothing the resort didn’t think about in terms of room amenities. The easily-accessible breakfast at the sun-drenched modern lodge was lovely. A bit disappointed by road noise at night, lack of protein (I.e., eggs) at breakfast and confusion about when and even if the hot tub was available in the evening. Staff pleasant but not the most attentive.

We were impressed with the tents for the most part. Bathroom area needs a curtain for privacy from main area and toilet for showering also needs a bench or small table for setting down clean clothest and toiletries.Plenty of room 3 open spaces in bathroom. We stayed in lodge for over 2 hours after breakfast. Employees never wiped down any tables or swept for 2 hours after breakfast service was done. We had to clean a table to play a game. Coffee and eggs and other food items were empty everyday and we had to ask for them all 3 days. Manager needs to get on his staff. Very poorly run breakfast service by a slow moving staff. We watched them chit chat for 2 hours before cleaning anything.

Wonderful stay at Terramor! Loved everything! My only complaint would be the noise from the street. We were in the A loop and heard a lot of street noise. Sound machine helped though!

We had a great time. First, understand that this isn't a typical hotel/resort. The glamping tents are large and mostly comfortable when it isn't freezing cold with high winds. Since there is no air conditioning, I assume that there are also times when the heat and humidity is a problem. There is a lot of room in the tents and they provide two large heaters. There is plenty of hot water. We found it very comfortable in early October - until the temperature dropped into the 30s and the wind whipped up. Still, the temperature inside the tent stayed at least in the upper 50s. It was 68 to 70 during most days and nights. There doesn't seem to be any variety in the morning breakfast and there is no hot food (you can however toast a bagel). Their options for dinner were too spicy for us, but we only tried it once. All of that said, there is much to appreciate about the environment this facility provides. The social environment is much more like an RV campground than a typical hotel. You meet people and socialize outside of your own group. There are campfires at night and the main building has a nice layout for those wanting to sit by the fire. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Note that it is nearly impossible to get an Uber anywhere in the area. There is presumably a single taxi, but I tried and no one answers the phone. It would be nice if the facility had a shuttle to downtown as an option. I imagine any employee could drive and accept tips.

So glad to have stayed here and experienced the Terramor hospitality. Our stay was EXCELLENT. The staff is warm, friendly, and very helpful. The resort is 15/10 in every way. Must stay! We were a family of 5, the oldest being 70 add the youngest 4. The Birch tent was exceptional. Breakfast was first class! We'll stay here every single time we're in Bar Harbor!

Very cool experience! Tent itself was well appointed and had very nice amenities. Lodge was a great place to hang out and enjoy a fire. A couple of items that didn't ruin the whole experience. Shower had black mold spots all along the caulking which wasn't great to see. Maybe upgrade the space heaters so that they can warm the tent better.
