Did not have the breakfast. The rooms were freshly painted and clean. Only suggestion is change out the old crumbling dresser. It detracted from the fresh new room. There was not an iron or hair dryer in the room. I borrowed the one my sister had fortunately in her room as far as an iron goes. Neither of us had a blow dryer in our rooms. Other than that the staff is always nice and they are one of the only hotels that still do daily housekeeping! I like the courtyard area and the quiet. It is also within walking distance to food and convenience stores.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and smelled nice. We had a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge which was very convenient. The seafood restaurant in front of the hotel is delicious and they have easy order online and carry-out. There's also fast food restaurants and a good Mexican restaurant (1 mile away). The road noise was minimal. The beds were super comfortable and we were able to park right outside our door. The breakfast had a nice variety of cereal, breads, fruits, juices, coffee, and hard boiled eggs.

Decent room for the money. Right off I-26. Showing its age a bit, but overall fairly clean. Bed was comfortable. Only complaint was that the walkways and stairs were very dirty and could use a hosing off.

The property is either somewhat newly renovated or under renovations. Could use some improvements. Door didn't shut properly without a bit of extra force. Room had a musty smell slightly even after running HVAC to get air circulation going. The table and chairs were old and chairs looked like padding was peeling off. Never sat in them. Bed was comfortable, yet sheets were stained. Got shower was a true positive! The breakfast they offered was very lackluster and I only took a banana. Nothing else was appealing. Biggest complaint, after checking in after midnight, housekeeping was knocking on my door at 830am, and then opened up the door to find me in bed. Yes I had the security latch on to prevent full opening. She later came back at 1030 while I had just gotten back from a quick breakfast run up the street, and just opened the door again to come and change towels she thought she took out of room. My room hadn't been serviced at all at that point. She apologized but still, big inconvenience to wake me up so early when I had an event to go to in the afternoon and needed rest and preparation for. If I hadn't used my hotel points for a "free stay", I would have seriously left way sooner and asked for refund and camped somewhere before trying it again.

We were very unhappy with our stay! Our room was not clean. It had cob webs, dirty carpets, and bugs in the bathroom. Additionally, the door to the room was quite swollen, making it difficult to open and close the door properly.

The staff was friendly, the grounds are well maintained, the room was clean, and there's a great restaurant right next to the hotel. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed that we have ever slept on. It was springy and lumpy.

The hotel was fine, not great. The rooms are small but clean. The sheets are very comfortable. The shower needs to be updated. The biggest issue was the AC - it was awful and so loud, it sounded like a freight train in our room and like something was loose in there. And it would go off randomly. That actually ruined the whole night for us.

The hotel clerk informed me when I attempted to check in that they had called me and I cancelled the reservation. No one had called me. She became snippy and rattled off a phone number that she said they'd called and I cancelled. It was not my number. I have no idea whose number they called. In any case, I had to drive 40 miles and spend twice as much for a room because of this.

We stay at this hotel every time we travel South. I find it to be comfortable, Have never had an issue with cleanliness. Any issue I did come across in the past was taken care of right away. The owner is a sweetheart and he is very attentive to the hotels needs. What I did not appreciate is EVERY single time I stay there they knock on my door at 9 am whether I am a stay over or a check out and that irritates me to no end. As a previous hotel manager the HK are not suppose to knock before 11AM. One thing I appreciate about this hotel is the fact I have never seen a roach inside the rooms. I am huge on that. Thinking about moving down there, just might beg for a FD job and maximize that hotels customer service because the little young girls at night are not interested in their job. and are not good at communicating with their customers.

As a previous hotel manager the HK are not suppose to knock before 11AM. One thing I appreciate about this hotel is the fact I have never seen a roach inside the rooms. I am huge on that. Thinking about moving down there, just might beg for a FD job and maximize that hotels customer service because the little young girls at night are not interested in their job. and are not good at communicating with their customers.

The property was out dated. Peeling paint, the room smelled like smoke, the ac unit, and refrigerator, both sounded like they was getting ready for take off. The front office staff, was very rude, and not accommodating. Overall experience was disappointing. Not worth the money or time...

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and smelled nice. We had a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge which was very convenient. The seafood restaurant in front of the hotel is delicious and they have easy order online and carry-out. There's also fast food restaurants and a good Mexican restaurant (1 mile away). The road noise was minimal. The beds were super comfortable and we were able to park right outside our door. The breakfast had a nice variety of cereal, breads, fruits, juices, coffee, and hard boiled eggs.

The property is either somewhat newly renovated or under renovations. Could use some improvements. Door didn't shut properly without a bit of extra force. Room had a musty smell slightly even after running HVAC to get air circulation going. The table and chairs were old and chairs looked like padding was peeling off. Never sat in them. Bed was comfortable, yet sheets were stained. Got shower was a true positive! The breakfast they offered was very lackluster and I only took a banana. Nothing else was appealing. Biggest complaint, after checking in after midnight, housekeeping was knocking on my door at 830am, and then opened up the door to find me in bed. Yes I had the security latch on to prevent full opening. She later came back at 1030 while I had just gotten back from a quick breakfast run up the street, and just opened the door again to come and change towels she thought she took out of room. My room hadn't been serviced at all at that point. She apologized but still, big inconvenience to wake me up so early when I had an event to go to in the afternoon and needed rest and preparation for. If I hadn't used my hotel points for a "free stay", I would have seriously left way sooner and asked for refund and camped somewhere before trying it again.

I booked a smoking room with a AAA or AARP discount. Confirmation showed a smoking room with 2 double beds. When I arrived at the hotel around 3:30 to check in, I was told that a smoking room was not booked (incorrect ) and they don’t give AAA or AARP discounts. I have never been denied a discount especially being disabled. I asked where the nearest grocery store was and she said straight down the road a few miles and to googled it. I finally stumbled across one an hour later. The bed was fine but pillows were way too soft. I was exhausted and really didn’t care at that point until the room next to me (125) sounded like a zoo, dog barking, bird screeching, and something like rats screaming. I have pet rats and the only time I heard them make that noise was when they were fighting. About 11:45pm I couldn’t take it anymore and called the front desk. He said he wasn’t sure what to do about it but would see what he could do. The noises and barking stopped at some point. I have traveled a lot and stayed at various brands and have never had a room with NO USB ports. This is mandatory nowadays for cell phones. I would not recommend this hotel, you will never know what kind of room you’ll get and can’t make changes when you arrive.

Did not have the breakfast. The rooms were freshly painted and clean. Only suggestion is change out the old crumbling dresser. It detracted from the fresh new room. There was not an iron or hair dryer in the room. I borrowed the one my sister had fortunately in her room as far as an iron goes. Neither of us had a blow dryer in our rooms. Other than that the staff is always nice and they are one of the only hotels that still do daily housekeeping! I like the courtyard area and the quiet. It is also within walking distance to food and convenience stores.

Perfect for a quick rest while traveling. Right off the interstate exit that wasn’t too busy. Mattress was comfy and thick and had clean bedding. Room was clean and good water pressure in shower. Served our needs very well.

Quiet, nothing in the immediate area. some of the guest downstairs were smoking pot. But that was the only downside. Nice restaurant within walking distance, McDonald's across the street.

Not bad for the money. Easy access from I-26. Carpets could use steam cleaning. A bit noisy due to I-26. Front desk clerk was helpful although not at all communicative. But for a quick overnight stay and morning shower better than paying twice that at other properties in Clinton.

I have stayed here 3 times but this was my last. I got an unexpected 3 dollar service charge. For what i don't know. That was deceptive and wrong. The breakfast was horid the milk for cereal was totally soured and spoiled.

Convenient to interstate was the best thing about this hotel. Parking is inconvenient to room location making you carry bags across property and climb stairs. The room was outdated. Not exactly the cleanest room but at least we didn't see any bugs. Sign on the registration door stating no guns permitted on property however the people hanging out in the parking lot made you want one. The lady at registration checking us in was very nice though. We didn't do breakfast at hotel opting for Starbucks at the next exit.

To be clear, the STAFF at this property were extremely kind. The room itself, especially the tub, was totally disgusting. I didn’t look at the tub when I checked in, I noticed it the next morning when I took a shower. The staff told me they were required to have bath mats and there was a delay in getting them delivered. I don’t have any idea what the other grime wax on the floor. It’s a cheap, very old motel. Lots of other guests hanging around on the stairway to the 2nd level (right outside my room), having loud conversations on their speaker phones. I would never stay here again and would definitely not recommend.
