Parking was right across the street from hotel which was nice. It can be difficult to find parking in town. But location was 12 minute walk from ports. Right next to shopping amd restaurant district. No car need if just staying in the area. The welcome was relaxing with fresh wet handtowels to clean up. And breakfast was wonderful. Beautiful newer hotel.

The Dom hotel was amazing! We had a car, so the parkade across the street was perfect for us. We left the keys there and the staff of the parkade brought the car up every day. Getting to the room was beautiful, we were so welcomed coming in and they had a lemon juice ready for us to sit and enjoy before going up. We sat and talked to the receptionist for a bit while cooling down with our lemon drinks. They left us special snacks in the room as well to enjoy which was so lovely. Our suite had an amazing rooftop patio to watch the sunrise and sunset above most of the buildings and a panoramic view while we sat in the hot tub. There was a nice cover over the deck to stay out of the sun as well. Overall the staff were amazing and the place was very lovely. We would stay again

Loved this hotel - so close to everything in Heraklion. The breakfast was quite good and they have their own small bar which was a quiet place to unwind after a day of being out and about. The staff was warm and welcoming. They gave us recommendations and took time to ask us about our day and what we had done. At one point we ordered a massage in our room as my husband had hurt his back. He absolutely loved his service It should also be noted that this is the only bathroom on our entire three week trip that had a two sink bathroom - it was absolutely luxurious! :)

We stayed for 2 weeks using it as a base to visit museums in Heraklion and for visiting the south and east of the island. The hotel is in the centre of the city, ideal for sightseeing and restaurants, but in a very built up area. Parking is at a premium in this area, with cars parked absolutely everywhere around the hotel. The hotel has a great arrangement with a valet parking lot, literally across the street from them which worked perfectly for us. We stayed in a Business Room, Courtyard View which was very compact with just enough storage and the view from a tiny balcony was of another buildings wall a few metres away. If you would like somewhere to sit outside, then this room is not suitable and did detract from our otherwise lovely stay in this hotel. If staying for a couple of nights it would be appropriate, but if we were staying as long again, we would pay extra and take a larger room with a balcony at the front of the building. The staff were amazing, so kind, friendly and helpful making us feel "at home" during our stay. They worked such long hours, but nothing was too much trouble. On the last night as we had stayed so long, they provided a lovely surprise gift which was so kind of them. Breakfast was more than adequate with continual restocking of the buffet. There is also a small bar just off the reception area. We enjoyed staying at this hotel and would use it again.

The hotel is very well located in Heraklion, however if you are planning to drive over there and park your car, forget about :) especially if you are not used to the width of the greek streets and especially how the cars are parked on each side of the streets :) There is a 24h parking just outside the hotel, not sure if the hotel has a deal. Sofia at the reception was very helpful in trying to find availability for the ferry to go to Santorini. Breakfast is also quite good given the small size of the hotel. All in all, a little gem right in the centre of Heraklion historical centre!

Great location and even greater service. There is a parking garage right next door. We were greeted with a refreshing lemon aid and homemade chocolate. They even gave us a room upgrade. The bed was very comfortable and TV had access to Amazon prime and Netflix. Breakfast options were also very good.

Beautiful hotel. Impeccably clean. Smells wonderful. Good air conditioning. Nice lobby. Great breakfast and excellent service. We received an excellent restaurant recommendation and they called several cabs for us. Luggage storage is in a locked room. Connected to pedestrian area downtown and close to Knossos, museums, and bus station.

The hotel is very modern, clean with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. It is close to all the bar’s restaurants and shops although the area around is a little sketchy. It has a good parking in front and good breakfast.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights in late June 2025. Overall, the Dom Boutique Hotel is not as nice in person as pictured online, however, the biggest selling point of this property is its central location. That said, there are several reasons that left us disappointed with our stay and we don't understand why this hotel has a 9.4 rating on Expedia. CONS 1. Room was not as pictured with low quality finishings. 2. Low quality linens. 3. There was no running water for a period. 4. Walls are thin, we travel with a noise machine so at least sound from neighbouring rooms were drowned out, but we were awoken 2 out of the 4 nights from loud alarms going off outside. 5. Of the four nights, we only asked to get fresh towels on the third and they didn't have enough to replace all of them. 6. Second, the front desk staff are not very friendly (fine), but when we asked about the gym they said it was downstairs. They failed to mention you need a key to enter, so it was always locked and we had to ask about it since they did not offer this information. PROS 1. Location 2. Beside a paid valet parking lot We would definitely look elsewhere if we were to visit Heraklion again.

My wife and I booked the Deluxe Room because the online photos were very appealing. Unfortunately, the room didn’t quite meet our expectations: there were no wardrobes, the furnishings were very minimal (just a small chair), and the frosted glass bathroom door meant that any nighttime use of the bathroom disturbed the other person due to the light. From our perspective, a more comfortable setup and greater bathroom privacy would help the room live up to its “Deluxe” label. Overall a good stay. The hotel and room were clean. Breakfast was quite good and we were surprised by the number of options. The dining room is noce with an exterior portion. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures though. They were fine, but those pictured are probably the suites. I think the rate was a bit expensive for what it was to be honest. But it was still nice and convenient for what we needed (only 1 night.

Hotel was in a perfect location to everything in Heraklion! Clean and nice sized rooms with a balcony overlooking the quaint city. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They even made sure we had a breakfast waiting for us at our 5am checkout. I highly recommend this great hotel!

We stayed here twice—both at the start and end of our three-week adventure in Crete—and couldn’t have chosen a better base. The location is absolutely unbeatable: steps away from the best restaurants and top sights, making it the ideal spot for exploring the city. Breakfast here is outstanding, and the rooms are modern, comfortable, and well-appointed. The service was consistently excellent throughout our visits. If you’re staying, do yourself a favor and dine at Peskesi—just make sure to book a reservation! This hotel offers convenience, quality, and a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended.

Not a boutique hotel. It is a 3 star hotel. The rooms are misrepresented online. It is listed as a Courtyard View and the two balconies face a wall. Reservation was chosen for quite nice view for one week and we faced a wall. It was quiet but not what we booked. Especially for a Business suite in a Boutique hotel. Look elsewhere. There are many options close by.

Junior suite had excellent rooftop views, and we were upgraded from a park view. Staff is good, breakfast is good. Hot tub was gross, we didn't even use it. Excellent location near peir and old Town.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights in late June 2025. Overall, the Dom Boutique Hotel is not as nice in person as pictured online, however, the biggest selling point of this property is its central location. That said, there are several reasons that left us disappointed with our stay and we don't understand why this hotel has a 9.4 rating on Expedia. CONS 1. Room was not as pictured with low quality finishings. 2. Low quality linens. 3. There was no running water for a period. 4. Walls are thin, we travel with a noise machine so at least sound from neighbouring rooms were drowned out, but we were awoken 2 out of the 4 nights from loud alarms going off outside. 5. Of the four nights, we only asked to get fresh towels on the third and they didn't have enough to replace all of them. 6. Second, the front desk staff are not very friendly (fine), but when we asked about the gym they said it was downstairs. They failed to mention you need a key to enter, so it was always locked and we had to ask about it since they did not offer this information. PROS 1. Location 2. Beside a paid valet parking lot We would definitely look elsewhere if we were to visit Heraklion again.

We had a wonderful time. I must give a big thanks to maryanna at the desk and George (2) at the desk and despite at the bar. They were informative and so pleasant. The cleaning staff was also wonderful as was our breakfast hostess. We May never be back but if we do we would stay no where else but the Dom Boutique hotel. Thank you all. ROBERT KROLL

The location is excellent- the service is subpar. We dropped our luggage off in the morning before check in, completed all the paperwork, but when we came back at check in the receptionist was very rude and curt with us. She didn’t even welcome us, said she wanted our passports, when my husband told her that we already completed the check in process and just needed the keys to the room, she told him in an agressive way that she needed it regardless. She told us our room number multiple times- pointing it out on the card, the whole experience felt like we were kids being scolded by an adult without having done anything. The bare minimum of welcoming guests is to tell them hello or welcome/ enjoy your stay. This left a bad taste in our mouths. Also beware the room doesn’t have an iron if that’s something you need during your stay. The location is excellent though, and there’s a valet parking right across the street for 15 euros a day, and u can take ur car out multiple times a day with no surcharge.

Dom Boutique Hotel was such a great find! The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Our room was really clean, spacious, and comfy—perfect to come back to after a day out. The location is also amazing. It’s in a safe neighborhood and just a short walk to tons of great restaurants, bars, cute little boutique shops, parks, and the main sights. We’ll definitely book again on our next trip to Heraklion!

Great location and even greater service. There is a parking garage right next door. We were greeted with a refreshing lemon aid and homemade chocolate. They even gave us a room upgrade. The bed was very comfortable and TV had access to Amazon prime and Netflix. Breakfast options were also very good.

Excellent hotel located very conveniently in Heraklion. The staff were amazing and gave us lots of tips of how to get around some of the sites of Crete (such as Knossos and the Lassithi plateau) and the hotel itself was very plush! Great breakfast and they also made arrangements for an earlier sitting when we had to catch a 8 am ferry so we were very thankful for that. The hotel is around 15-20 mins walk from the port so very handy for island hopping.

The location is perfect! Walking distance from the port, plazas & squares, shopping, restaurants, and the historic castle! Very clean and convenient! The room is a little small but more than enough! We spent our time out, dining, riding horses, shopping, etc. The crew is very polite and helpful! The included breakfast is impressive! Very delicious and fresh! I highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful hotel. Impeccably clean. Smells wonderful. Good air conditioning. Nice lobby. Great breakfast and excellent service. We received an excellent restaurant recommendation and they called several cabs for us. Luggage storage is in a locked room. Connected to pedestrian area downtown and close to Knossos, museums, and bus station.

Honestly, we arrived late and because earlier ferry cancellations just ate breakfast and left. The breakfast had a large variety of good food, the staff was attentive and the rooms had simple luxury. The location is central.

This hotel has great interiors and rooms - high end amenities and attention to detail in the room decor. The property location was in the center of the city, so all supermarkets and restaurants were only a 3-5 walk away. Parking was convenient - it was valet parking just across the street. The staff was very friendly, funny, and were eager to recommend the gems around the hotel. The buffet breakfast had a great spread, and was very delicious. Would recommend if you are a city traveler and need a fancy place to spend the night in the heart of everything.

Very clean room, great location for walking to restaurants and shopping. The staff was very helpful, we arrived with 4 pieces of luggage and the man at the front desk took it all up to the room for us in the small elevator. That was extremely helpful. The breakfast was really good, everything from eggs and meats and cheeses, to fruit, breads, pastries, yogurt, coffee, and juice. A very short walk to Peskesi for dinner. An excellent restaurant if you want great food!

We rent a room that was not very clear what mean accessibly room . We didn’t know it . But we arrived at the hotel and try to change to room and the front desk said I was not possibly. I doubt they can’t do it . Well , we stay in the room . Poor bathroom . Not enclosed shower and water go anywhere when you shower :Toilet , floor, every corner in the bathroom . What is danger for people with mobility issues and even any person . You have to place towels all the way around and latter dry every space in there like it was you the person who clean ! The bathroom door are Cristal made , if you get in the bathroom at night your Parner will wake you up for the lights . I have to said the breakfast is excellent , the hotel location is perfect and areas small but clean . But I was very disappointed with not a solution for my mistake for didn’t inquire what mean accessibly room . Not help from front desk staff for offer a solution that I thank it could be done .

I doubt they can’t do it . Well , we stay in the room . Poor bathroom . Not enclosed shower and water go anywhere when you shower :Toilet , floor, every corner in the bathroom . What is danger for people with mobility issues and even any person . You have to place towels all the way around and latter dry every space in there like it was you the person who clean ! The bathroom door are Cristal made , if you get in the bathroom at night your Parner will wake you up for the lights . I have to said the breakfast is excellent , the hotel location is perfect and areas small but clean . But I was very disappointed with not a solution for my mistake for didn’t inquire what mean accessibly room . Not help from front desk staff for offer a solution that I thank it could be done .
