We stayed in one of the Balcony suites on the second floor. It was enormous. The size of 5 regular hotel rooms it was more of an apartment than a hotel room. With a kitchen, dinning room, living room 2 full baths, a changing room a full master suite a pull out queen bed and dinning table and a bar for eating. The hotel has a great pool thats indoor and heated. There is a very nice workout room with plenty of equipment. For breakfast we were given vouchers to eat at the attached Boston Pizza restaurant. There we were given a menu to choose from and it had a big selection of choices. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner with a very nice menu that include much more than pizza. There is also a bar in the restaurant with a full choice of beverages. Pool tables and dart boards. The between the hotel and restaurant there is a hair salon for men and women. The hotel has a small surviver/ convenience shop in the lobby with snacks and travel esentials. The front desk staff are great at answering any questions you may have and getting you any assistance you may need. The maid staff was quiet , friendly, and there for everything we asked for. The hotel was very clean, quiet and we felt very safe. There is no elevator to the second floor so if you have trouble on step ask for a first foor room. From what I could see they were every bit as nice as the second and this hotel has many different layouts for suites to accommodate families, or parties like weddings or business meetings.

Check pool open times first here & be prepared for no help & rude treatment! Room & property were fine, but troublesome front desk people over 2 days made less than fully enjoyable. 2 different interactions; I needed to extend my Expedia booking by 1 day. Asked front desk if they could extend me- NO, I'd have to do that thru app and no empathy whatsoever, in fact I felt like I was asking something impossible from them. Both front desk guys "ganged up" on me over this simple question. I am new to Expedia & couldn't easily do it/navigate the Expedia app so I called Best Western corporate support. They advised me to just go into Expedia and book a new day/booking and she would forward that to this motel so I'd keep my room # etc. That was easy. WHY didn't the front desk at this motel tell me that instead of being jerks?. Reason for needing another day was so I could take more time with my Daughter & Grandson on my this, my 1st visit to see them. A BIG part of my booking here was so we all could enjoy the pool. This Best Western Casper Downtown motel's website says pool open 8am to 11pm, but sign on pool door says closed at 10pm. Big disappointment when time is short & every hour counts. No understanding from staff. Do better on your policies & let us/Expedia know. Otherwise room & property clean, just unfriendly staff.

Be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs if not on the first floor. There's no elevator. Was very difficult for us and others. They also do not have a hot tub but pictures looked like there was. It was a kiddy pool.

I stayed here with my 3 children. The room was spacious. The bed and pillows were so comfy! It was very clean! My only complaints were the pool and no continental breakfast. For the breakfast they give you a voucher good for up to $10 for adults and $8 for kids. On the voucher it says it's good until 11:00. So we went to the restaurant at 10:30. It took them over an hour and a half to get us our food and the restaurant wasn't even busy at all. The food was very tastless and when I gave them my voucher I was told that I couldn't use it, because at that point it was noon. The other issue was the pool area. Immediately when you walk in the room the smell of chlorine is so strong and it is so hot in there, you cannot breath. My glasses Immediately fogged up and I had to take them off. My brother came by to see me and he couldn't stand it, he left. I tried to open a window, but they were all nailed shut. Also, in the pictures what looks like a hot tub is actually a kiddie pool. They do have a bunch of floaties and noodles and beech balls in the pool, which was a nice gesture, but after 30 minutes everyone's eyes were burning so bad we had to leave the pool area.

The room was very unsanitary when we arrived. There was hair all over the bathroom, the tub was dirty, and there were socks left in the bathroom from the people who were previously there. There was no soap left to wash our hands in either bathroom, however they had left us 3 complimentary bottles of conditioner. The facility was undergoing obvious construction which is understandable but when we were going up the stairs to our room (which was not undergoing construction) my husband nicked his hand on a shard of metal on the handrail that was sticking out. We were also displeased at the fact that it was a two level building with no elevator for those with luggage’s. We booked a room with a pull out bed due to the number of guests and had to request extra linen. When we requested extra pillows to accommodate for all our guests, we were told they didn’t have anymore pillows. All in all, we were very unhappy with our stay.

My room smelled of pet urine. I expressed my concerns with the manager on duty, and was brushed off, as if it is a normal occurrence. No apologies, no solutions, nothing! I do not recommend this hotel. DIRTY!

We stayed in a family suite and it had two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a balcony, a kitchenette and eating area, and a couch. One bedroom had cute bunk beds, and there were three tvs in the suite. For the price we expected a typical 3 beds in one room, so it was a pleasant surprise. The lobby and breakfast area were spacious and tastefully decorated; it looked like a much more upscale hotel! Only complaints: some of the hallway carpets were stained and our faucets would only dispense warm and hot water.

What people should know about this particular hotel is that the air conditioning has been shut off for the season. When we arrived at our room on September 30th, the temperature was 82 at around 4:45pm. We had to open the windows to cool the room, but then had to contend with the noise from the highway and the trains. The temperature never dropped below 71 degrees. Needless to say, we did not have a restful night.

We always stay at this hotel when we are in Casper. Probably the most spacious suite rooms we’ve ever had. So big. The attached restaurant, Bostons, is also great and love the hot breakfast that comes with hotel stay. 10/10.

Stay started out okay. We rented a king suite. In one room the thermostat only blew cold air, in the king master room the thermastat did not work at all. The weather was below zero during our trip. We tried to call down to the front desk and our phone did not work. We were also unable to use the TV due to a missing remote. We went to the front desk and the maintenance person was sent up. Nothing was fixed due to not having the parts, although she did try to fix all isses. Curtains were broken and hanging off the wall. Mirrors in all rooms were very very dirty! There were no clean towles for the swimmers. When checking out, the front desk told me to call the GM monday morning to work out a discount. I called monday morning x 5 with no answer. Finally left a message and the GM did not return our call. Will never stay here again!

The room could have been cleaner, and the heating system seemed to be stuck at around 80°F no matter how I adjusted it. The walls were quite thin, and unfortunately, the Wi-Fi and TV didn’t work during my stay. It was only a one-night visit, so it was manageable, but I had to keep the window open to make the room comfortable.

The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast in an actual restaurant was delicious. We stay here every year for a dog show, and I always feel comfortable and safe.

We stayed here while working, we requested housekeeping services each day and never got it in 4 days. I called and requested clean towels twice and never got any. Very frustrated. I’d like to stay here again. Paid $600 for a few days and we can’t even get a clean towel. We also requested a new roll of toilet paper and ended up having to go buy some because they wouldn’t bring us any

Check-in was a nightmare. Long line that took a half hour to navigate. There were two clerks working but only one of them was doing check-ins. The process seemed very antiquated. This wont be a regular stop for me.

Check pool open times first here & be prepared for no help & rude treatment! Room & property were fine, but troublesome front desk people over 2 days made less than fully enjoyable. 2 different interactions; I needed to extend my Expedia booking by 1 day. Asked front desk if they could extend me- NO, I'd have to do that thru app and no empathy whatsoever, in fact I felt like I was asking something impossible from them. Both front desk guys "ganged up" on me over this simple question. I am new to Expedia & couldn't easily do it/navigate the Expedia app so I called Best Western corporate support. They advised me to just go into Expedia and book a new day/booking and she would forward that to this motel so I'd keep my room # etc. That was easy. WHY didn't the front desk at this motel tell me that instead of being jerks?. Reason for needing another day was so I could take more time with my Daughter & Grandson on my this, my 1st visit to see them. A BIG part of my booking here was so we all could enjoy the pool. This Best Western Casper Downtown motel's website says pool open 8am to 11pm, but sign on pool door says closed at 10pm. Big disappointment when time is short & every hour counts. No understanding from staff. Do better on your policies & let us/Expedia know. Otherwise room & property clean, just unfriendly staff.

The motel itself was nice. It was very difficult getting to and from the property due to construction. The property is located next to a railroad switching station which resulted in noisy, limited sleep.

The picture of the site was misleading. The property was it an area that was a little scary. I didn’t feel safe. Looks like the hotel an been remodeled. The interior room was good but the outside still need work + parking lot has many pot holes.

Restaurant was very disorganized. Got up and left after waiting for 45 minutes just for our order to be taken. And then was informed it would be at least another 30 minutes to receive our food as the kitchen was backed up. In our room, partial lighting in the bathroom due to a burned out bulb and bathtub and sink drained very slowly.

Older hotel that BW has remodeled and is bringing back to life. I remember the original hotel and it was nostalgic to stay there. They have done a good job of preserving the feel of the original. Rates are very reasonable, breakfasts were great and staff was great. Its our new place to stay when we come to Casper

Pool and breakfast was great, needed quarters for laundry front desk did not have them, air conditioner in room not cooling we were given a fan which helped some Wi-Fi sucked! Always kicking you off and buffering!

I stayed here 3 nights ago and it was annoying. The walls are thin, and at 11pm, i could hear people talking loudly in the halls and outdoors. The same thing at 6am...and at all times. Parking was such that when I got here, after having to figure out how to negotiate the underpass road closure, I had to park quite a ways away from the hotel, due to the filled parking lot. The refrigerator wouldn't work in my room and it wasn't until the next day when I learned that I had to reset the electrical outlet in the bathroom, that it did work. And check-in was such that the Internet went down in the middle of my check-in process and I had to wait for it to come up again to complete my check-in. Normally I wouldn't have minded so much but I had just been released from the local hospital and I was tired. I intentionally didn't leave a review at that time as I wanted to wait until my second stay to see if things were different. Tonight, I had different issues....when I tried to tune into a tv station, it was impossible. There are no instructions as to how to operate the remote control..it is not intuitive...it was hopeless. And when I used the plastic glasses for a drink, both had little holes in the bottom of them and leaked. After I checked in, I went into the restaurant for a drink and dinner. Both were very good. And tonight was much quieter. The room is very clean, comfortable, spacious and tidy. However, there have been just too many annoyances for me to come back here again.
