Usually La Quinta can be counted on to be a good night sleep in a comfortable room with a few free amenities but this location is a few steps behind usual La Quinta standards. At check in we were asked for a credit card just in case. Later when my wife tried to buy some microwave popcorn and charge it to the room she was refused and had to come back upstairs for cash. We turned on the TV to DISH network and a home screen that indicated Netflix, Prime and a few other streaming services were available. Not a single extra streaming service was available and we were left with an extremely abbreviated list of about 15 channels of which most were the secondary crappy networks. We then switched to our devices and attempted to log into the hotel wifi. Seriously, I have to enter two separate passwords onto two separate but "linked" log in screens. Lets just say that after jumping through hoops to log in the wifi was up and down the entire night. Finally went to sleep and before we left the next morning got some basic coffee and the usual cheap lobby breakfast. Has La Quinta moved from their usual middle of the pack status to more of an extreme value motel with basic services only? Where this location is situated there are at least 6 more similar branded motels with a one block square and In the future when I'm going through Lubbock I'll stay another instead.

Our experience was just okay. The beds were not comfortable. The rooms were nice and big. The building was a bit dirty and there was bird poop all over the front walk ways. All in all it was okay. I wouldn’t rebook.

This LaQuinta has the nicest staff. Very helpful & friendly. Decent breakfast. Clean property with nice room & great shower. Only drawback is the sink faucet which trickled out water (by design?). Otherwise, loved the staff.

I could say that La Quinta is slacking so much. I stay here frequently and there’s always an issue in every room I have stayed. It used to be my favorite hotel to stay on every vacation, but now I will find a different hotel if they don’t get back on track. Dirty rooms, stained walls, low water pressure in the bathroom sink, etc.
