This is one of the best places I have stayed with an Expedia booking. The room and bath looked recently remodeling. It was spotless. The staff was attentive and professional. The common areas were in very good condition. It is walking distance to the Plaza Mayor and all historical sites and museums. There are two elevators. You do have to take steps down from entrance to arrive at the lobby level. There is a breakfast area downstairs and terrace dining outside. There is a fridge but no microwave. I recommend it.

Sehr nettes Hotel am Rande der Altstadt (ca 10 -15 min bis zu Plaza Mayor), für hiesige Verhältnisse sehr ordentliches Frühstück und freundliches personal. Mit etwas Wasser bzw. einer Nespresso Maschine auf dem Zimmer oder auch Hotelschlappis zu den vorhandenen Bademänteln wäre es richtig top gewesen 😂

I’ve traveled to 6 different Countries in the pass 2 months and I must say this Hotel surprised me totally. The Room it’s a dream!, the Bed so comfortable, Bathroom clean and very roomy, nice living room, it has a secret kitchen attached to the walls! In general the best Hotel so far at affordable price!!

Be warned that the rooms are very warm, they don’t get below 76 degrees at night and they turn off automatically in the middle of the night. I found it uncomfortable and the fan did not make the warm air more manageable. The staff did not greet the guest warmly when returning to the hotel. But the cleaning team said hello in the halls.

En un entorno maravilloso, frente al Parque de Campo Grande que merece la pena recorrer, la versión afrancesada del Parque del Retiro de Madrid y en pleno centro de Valladolid, a 300 metros de la estación de AVE. Con todo lo necesario.

Chose this hotel as short walk from train station. The hotel was very clean with comfy bed and lovely shower. Staff on reception very helpful. This was my first visit to Valladolid and it was a pleasant surprise with a lovely park opposite the hotel and a 5 minute walk into the beautiful city centre. The Plaza Mayor is fantastic and I would say second only to the one in Salamanca. Lots of history in the city and if I was visiting again would be happy to stay here.

Sehr nettes Hotel am Rande der Altstadt (ca 10 -15 min bis zu Plaza Mayor), für hiesige Verhältnisse sehr ordentliches Frühstück und freundliches personal. Mit etwas Wasser bzw. einer Nespresso Maschine auf dem Zimmer oder auch Hotelschlappis zu den vorhandenen Bademänteln wäre es richtig top gewesen 😂

Hotel bem localizado, próximo à estação de trem e em frente ao parque. O quarto era grande e reformado, com varanda e vista do parque. Bom café da manhã, com frutas e cafés feitos na hora. Achei a cama pequena, mas minha reserva era apenas para uma pessoa.

El hotel está en una zona super tranquila pero a la vez muy cerca de la Plaza Mayor, las habitaciones muy limpias y con terraza al parque Campo Grande. Desayuno rico y completo y atención muy buena en recepción. Un sitio para volver, sin duda.

鉄道駅から、キャリーケースを転がして５分、とても近い。スタッフは、親切で町の観光名所を地図で示して教えてくれました。朝食も、クロワッサンやフルーツなど、満足のいくものでした。部屋には冷蔵庫もあり、飲み物が冷やせます。ベッドの寝心地も良かったです。ただし、お茶やスープを飲みたかったので、電気ポットがないのが残念でした。

I picked this hotel because it was near the train station and had high ratings from Expedia users. I was delighted with the experience. From the moment I arrived the hotel staff was clearly interested in making it a great stay for me in Valladolid. From bringing me extra Kleenex to opening the bar so I could have a bite to eat to giving me advice on things I should see in town, the staff went above and beyond. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. There was an espresso maker so I could have coffee in the morning and the cleaning staff always make sure my room was ready by the time I came back from my sightseeing. Being within walking distance of the train station – – less than five minutes away – – was a big plus. I did several excursions to nearby towns, like Leon, so it was nice to have a quick walk back to the hotel at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend the Plaza Colon!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Colón. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station. A special shoutout to Oscar (I think he was the manager), who went above and beyond for us. When other reception staff told us it wasn't possible to book a taxi and that Uber wasn't an option, Oscar stepped in and personally handled it for us. His attentiveness and problem-solving made a huge difference in our trip. Highly recommend!
