Hotel Bedford

The bed was comfortable, and clean, the hotel is very out dated and the carpets looked gross. Looks like they had not been changed since 1970s. Breakfast was ok. Lots of things needed to be refilled without an attendant. After hours staff was there but lacked customer service. I probably won't stay here again. Price was good though.

This is a very dated hotel and needs a lot of refurbishment. Very dirty carpets. Terrible towels in room. Bed was comfortable enough. Continental breakfast was basically bread or bagel which you could toast. Disappointing

The was our first time staying at the Bedford Inn, and it was a great place to stay. It is located right downtown in the square which made it convenient to walk everywhere. The young lady at check-in was very friendly, and helpful by asking if this was our first time there, and then explained the in-out privileges during the later hours. The rooms and the entire hotel are obviously dated because it was built in 1892, however everything was clean and fresh, and the beds were very comfortable. The overall historical appearance, the winding staircase, and the squeaky floors added to the charm of this hotel. There are 3 floors and no elevators, and the breakfast was fine; just the basics. I will be staying here from now when visiting Goderich just because of its convenient location, and the price.

Excellent location. No elevator. Rooms could use an upgrade without ruining the historical aesthetics. Carpeting should be removed and replaced with wood flooring and the bathroom tile walls and floors need a deep cleaning.

The lovely lady who was in charge of the breakfast area, was at dinner last night with her friends and offered me to stay in that room to have my dinner. She was lovely and I think her husband was fabulous too who offered to carry my suitcase up and down the stairs.
