The elevator did not work and I was on the third floor, this happened after I arrived, no one offered to help carry luggage down on departure or move my room to another floor where it worked. I have stayed here numerous times and was very disappointed because of the elevator.

It started out great—Adirondack chairs facing the river, fire pit, indoor pool and hot tub. However… it wasn’t with it. One, they didn’t allow early check-in despite almost no cars in parking lot. Two, it’s a pricey place compared to other options in the area. Three, and by far the worst part, is that after asking if I could checkout at noon, housekeeping knocked on my door at 9:30. That might not seem like a big deal. These things happen. I was irritated but let it go. Yet I asked myself, “Why would housekeeping knock that early? I have never seen that before, even if checking out at 11.” I told him that I had late checkout. He said sorry and walked away. I dozed off to sleep (got in at 4 am from poker at Cherokee). At 9:57, he knocked again. After I dozed off. What! Now I was angry and called front desk. They said they would handle it. I dozed off and a woman knocked at 10:50. When it comes to service and housekeeping, they are absolutely clueless. You will NOT sleep if you stay here! To make it even worse… The girl at the front desk said she would call me after talking to manager. I never received that phone call. The place looks nice but it’s expensive and they have the worst service I have seen in the area. And the hot rub is lukewarm.

This was a truly pleasant experience (a diamond in the rough). The staff were friendly and helpful. Very nice hotel and room was comfortable. Breakfast was great with many choices of things to eat and drink. The back patio was right over a shallow creek and finally a very nice inside pool.

The property common areas were nice and clean. We had a great view of the river. However the elevator did not work and my 82 year old mom had a very hard time navigating the stairs. The staff was indifferent and unapologetic. Our room was not cleaned despite the placard in the room stating it would be cleaned daily. The fire alarm was beeping when we returned one day and was promptly fixed. Light bulbs were out in the room, also promptly fixed. The bathroom tub was leaking the entire time and was also dirty. The breakfast was great but eggs were not available. The breakfast attendant was very helpful. I would stay here again but not if the elevator was not working.

Very peaceful by the river. Beautiful views. Nice having an indoor pool, jacuzzi. If you rather be outside there is a fire pit with chairs, (fire wood provided too!). Nice breakfast provided in morning 6-9:30am. We really enjoyed the stay!

I have been staying at this hotel for about 4 years. It no longer should have a 9.0 rating. The toilet seat had stains on it i had to disinfect before using. There were stains on floor in front of toilet that looked like someone missed the tiolet whilte urinating. The shower was dirty. This bathroom was not cleaned. Hot water for oatmeal was warm. Had to throw away. Sausage patties were way over down in microwave. Hard to cut. The worst part of breakfast was the seats .ALL tbe seats were so badly worn n stained At the tables i refused to sit in one. The hightop tables had slightly newer seats that didnt show as much wear. I showed pictures to front desk when I left. I had already gotten a late checkout approved when I checked in. Thought i might have to stay a second night. Well there was no way i was going to stay in this room again. So i checked out early in tbe morning. What a shame. This was a 9.0 rating previously. Not anymore. I informed the staff when I left and showed pictures. Already filled out a Best Western survey . I sometimes book directly with them but in a rush if i cant talk i use the hotels .com app. I was hoping someone from the hotel staff would have called me today to follow up. Oh well this hotel is on the same river thst I am buildimg a house on. I had my quest stay here in the past. Not anymore

Rooms definitely need thoroughly cleaned. Mildew smell when entering the room. Bedding is terribly uncomfortable. Mattress is very soft and pillows are lumpy. Sheets were stained. Top of headboard looks like it hasn't been dusted in a year. The lights in the bathroom are very dim. Hard to see.

Been staying at this same hotel for several years. I was always very happy . This trip they had alot of renovations going on. Got a room on the second floor that had alot of renovations been done. Strong odors of paint or Glue in hallways. I think all hotels should have to have a notice for the listing that renovations are on going n some dust will be expected. The girl taking care of the breakfast was great. Clean and organized. Also noticed at breakfast the chairs are long over due for new ones. Staff is always great but a little disappointed this last stay. I will be back since it is located exactly mext to where im building my vacation home.

The property was conveniently located off the highway with very minimal noise. Breakfast area was extremely clean and well stocked. Sitting areas by the river were nice and relaxing. Nice clean pool and hot tub. Hotel does use a lot of strong smelling "air freshener" in the halls and it can be offensive.

On arrival, the front door was broken. Receptionist was rude. The hot tub was not working. The shower was intermittent. I had a two nights day the next morning we left approximately 9 AM and returned by 4 PM and our room was not cleaned. It was never cleaned and the front desk girl said that we had to request cleaning by 8 AM and I said well why didn’t you tell us that and she goes that’s our policy I was like well you checked me in you never told me that and she could not show me any policy that said that. And several times I went down to the front desk for towels, soap, etc. and there was never anyone at the front desk. I would not stay here again.

We liked most everything EXCEPT WIFI. I was there for 3 days and was not able to use WIFI. If you need Wifi this place is not for you. Other than that we had a great time!! I had to go to other locations to do my work.

Very nice property! River view was so pretty! Didn’t understand why there’s no where to hang wet towels in bathroom. A mirror in the room would be nice. Needs a little updating. Walls are thin & you can hear your neighbors like they’re in your room. Otherwise very nice & we enjoyed our stay.

The property was good, a little older maybe, but nice enough. The grounds were beautiful and we loved sitting on the balcony. We had 2 key cards issued to us and went through 8 key cards during our stay because they kept deactivating despite living only in my wallet until time to try to unlock my door. Many times when I went down for a replacement key, I had to stand at the unmanned desk for 10-15 minutes. There was no bell for service.

I think several years back the road immediately in front of the property was the main road but was later changed when a new road opened. It is easy to get to. Very nice, large rooms.

Lots of questionable little things. The desk in the room is about 6 inches too hight to actually sit and work. The curtain rod in the bathroom is about a foot too low and the shower curtain puddles in thw tub.

Overall, our stay was very nice. The deck overlooking the river provided much needed relaxation. The hotel is close to everything we wanted to do, plus some. Our only complaint is the beds are not very comfortable. We found them to be on the hard side.

Check in was bad. That is the first impression. I took the cart up while my husband parked our truck. The door key would not work. So I waited with our luggage until my husband came up. He went back down to get working key cards to find a sign that said will be back in 10 minutes. When we come in there was two people at the front desk. So we waited to get in our room. It was hot and musky in the room. Once the air got moving the musky smell got better. The next morning the breakfast was great. The lady doing breakfast is kind and wonderful. Went out for the day. Had a great time when we came back. Our key cards wouldn’t work. The front desk employing said did you have it around your cell phone, I said my husband‘s been in his wallet, but neither keys are working and she’s well might’ve been around the credit cards. Then I told her well maybe I don’t need to stay at this motel again if I can’t get in my room consistently because I know I hate these keys so then I asked her. I said well I didn’t know they came with instructions. Where should we put the keys? She informed me we should keep them away from everything if we wanted them to work all I have to say to that is wow somebody I’m biggest take away is if you can’t consistently get in your room maybe it’s not the best place to stay.

It started out great—Adirondack chairs facing the river, fire pit, indoor pool and hot tub. However… it wasn’t with it. One, they didn’t allow early check-in despite almost no cars in parking lot. Two, it’s a pricey place compared to other options in the area. Three, and by far the worst part, is that after asking if I could checkout at noon, housekeeping knocked on my door at 9:30. That might not seem like a big deal. These things happen. I was irritated but let it go. Yet I asked myself, “Why would housekeeping knock that early? I have never seen that before, even if checking out at 11.” I told him that I had late checkout. He said sorry and walked away. I dozed off to sleep (got in at 4 am from poker at Cherokee). At 9:57, he knocked again. After I dozed off. What! Now I was angry and called front desk. They said they would handle it. I dozed off and a woman knocked at 10:50. When it comes to service and housekeeping, they are absolutely clueless. You will NOT sleep if you stay here! To make it even worse… The girl at the front desk said she would call me after talking to manager. I never received that phone call. The place looks nice but it’s expensive and they have the worst service I have seen in the area. And the hot rub is lukewarm.

The room with the balcony over the river was so nice and peaceful. The guys at check in were fabulous. They had many suggestions of places to dine and things to see. The room was quiet and clean. The complimentary breakfast had a wide variety. The lady that kept the items refreshed was super nice. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it it.

The staff here were extremely friendly. Including the lady who attended to the breakfast area. She greeted us every morning and conversed. She had such a pleasant attitude. She made certain the breakfast areas was stocked and clean. The front desk clerk when we checked in had such a great personality and we shared some laughs about a previous stay I had at this property. The desk clerk when we checked out was not as friendly, but she was not rude. Just very short. in all, our stay was excellent, and I have always recommended. The only downfall was they did not have the room I requested 315 with the in room hot tub available. The only rooms that were left was on the 1st floor. However the next day, when I chatted with the same clerk, advised the room was now available. I thought that was so sweet that she remembered. But of course we were not going to change just for the night. but the fact that she remembered was AWESOME!

We don’t know anything about this hotel….3 days before we left for our drive, we tried to get the hotel on the phone, no one answered We tried, Best Western main reservation # tried AND Expedia rep tried…NO ONE ANSWERED. We were not going to drive 3 hours to find out the hotel was closed for some reason, we got another hotel before we left. I will not book with a place you can’t reach

The property common areas were nice and clean. We had a great view of the river. However the elevator did not work and my 82 year old mom had a very hard time navigating the stairs. The staff was indifferent and unapologetic. Our room was not cleaned despite the placard in the room stating it would be cleaned daily. The fire alarm was beeping when we returned one day and was promptly fixed. Light bulbs were out in the room, also promptly fixed. The bathroom tub was leaking the entire time and was also dirty. The breakfast was great but eggs were not available. The breakfast attendant was very helpful. I would stay here again but not if the elevator was not working.

Great family vacation! The grandkids loved the hotel and location. There is so much to do in the area and the kids favorite day was the hotel day. Perfect for a quick weekend getaway or a longer stay. We have been multiple times over the past 5 years and will be planning our next trip soon.

It was clean, we loved the view (right on the river). Everyone was really nice and the breakfast was excellent. It was a full breakfast, not just pastries. They had eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, toast. Lots of choices to eat. It was in kind of an out of the way place, so it was pretty quiet while we were there.

It was a great location along the river albeit a bit of a head scratcher getting there. Not that it was hard to find but it seemed to be in an industrial park area next to a rail line and temporary FEMA warehouse location. Other than that, once you got on property, it was a great location listening to the river from the room's balcony or one of the decks along the river. Breakfast was very nice and changed slightly each day and fresh choices were available. The attendant was very pleasant and kept the area clean and organized. Our second floor corner room was very large with lots of room equipped with a microwave and a larger dorm sized fridge. The sink around the underside of the bowl in the bathroom could use a bit if scrubbing under the rim and possibly a new bead of fresh silicone caulk but otherwise a lovely room. When we return we will likely stay again.

This was a truly pleasant experience (a diamond in the rough). The staff were friendly and helpful. Very nice hotel and room was comfortable. Breakfast was great with many choices of things to eat and drink. The back patio was right over a shallow creek and finally a very nice inside pool.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The room was a lot bigger than I expected with a very comfortable bed. Everything was nice and clean. All of the staff were helpful. The free breakfast was really good and had hot items, and I especially enjoyed the yogurt parfait making machine. But the best part is being able to sit outside on the deck by the river and listening to that and nature. I would most definitely stay here again.
