Poolen var begränsad på grund av att man behövde betala för att ha på sig skydd för håret om man skulle bada. Den enda poolen var inomhus på våning 2. Gymmet som hade två maskiner varav en var sönder, var en besvikelse. Annars ett väldigt fint boende precis vid stranden, restauranger, små stånd med fotbollar och smycken, casino och annat.

Kamer wordt elke dag schoongemaakt. Vriendelijke personeels. Jammer dat we meermalen problemen hebben met kaartje van de kamer daardoor kunnen we onze kamer niet in. Na meermalen naar de receptie is het opgelost, wel vervelend dat het gebeurt. En we ervaren lekkage in de badkamer die veroorzaakt door boven verdieping vlak onze kamer. Hele badkamer blank door de lekkage midden in de nacht. Geen compensatie hier gehad. En spa voorziening is uitermate slecht, niet waard voor het geld van verblijft die we betalend.

De accomodatie is keurig netjes, beetje achtergebleven in de jaren zeventig maar dat heeft ook wel weer charme. Kamer was best ruim en badkamer was prima. Een stoel op het balkon zou wel fijn zijn. Was teleurgesteld dat het genoemde buitenzwembad het gemeentelijke zwembad is dat tegen betaling kan worden bezocht. Binnenzwembad is verder prima. Badmuts is verplicht. Service verder helemaal prima. Hotel op de boulevard super centraal bij strand, restaurants en openbaar vervoer. Ontbijt ook prima in orde.

I had a good night sleep. The hotel is quite outdated (except for the bathroom) and the spa area was unfortunately closed for renovation.. The gym is very bad, just a room with poor equipment, but a room to work out in is still nice. It’s not close to anything of remark but the casino and the ocean. Friendly staff.

Great hotel with a very friendly, English speaking, staff (shout out to Rudolpho). Covered parking and great views of the ocean. Only 200m to a regional train station that allowed us to leave the car behind and take the train the 11km to Porto. (2 Euro each way). We highly recommend this hotel.

Nous y avons séjourné 4 nuit. Nous avons été agréable surpris par la beauté des lieux. La piscine couverte a été d'une véritable utilité notamment les jours de tempête.

Todo perfecto, lo mejor el trato de camareros y recepcionistas, en el tema limpieza se puede mejorar, algún día no nos hicieron la habitación, en algunos aspectos se nota la edad del hotel, en general conforme.

Nice hotel in Espinho, great location, right next to the beach and lots of cafés and restaurant around. Hotel is good overall, excellent breakfast available. It's clean if a little dated in the decor. Key cards for the room frequently would not open the room door and had to be renewed at the front desk, a minor annoyance. Would stay here again for it's location.

Ménage pas fait à notre arrivée .. l’aspirateur et la serpillère n’avaient pas été passé .. pas de papier toilette non plus… Mais sinon la suite vu mer était jolie, grand balcon mais sans aucun aménagement (pas de table ni chaise..)

Room spacious, clean, beds made, daily clean towels. No room facilities to make tea or coffee - but didn’t really bother us. Breakfast nice, lots to choose from.

We stayed at Exe Praia Golfe as a family of four. The location is excellent—right by the beach and very close to Espinho rail station, which is well connected. The sea view, balcony, and pool access were nice. The main bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious for two adults and two kids. Reception staff were friendly and professional, and the TV and A/C worked well. However, the hotel is quite dated and needs attention. Peeling paint, worn furniture held together with glue, and lampshades with kids’ drawings left on them gave a neglected feel. The balcony was untidy, with no broom provided. Kids’ beds were awkwardly placed with dirty wheels sticking out, making movement difficult. The bathroom was tired, with chipped tiles and a wobbly shelf. The main door stuck and was hard to open. Cleanliness was lacking—the floor felt sticky and not recently mopped. Communal areas looked straight out of the 1980s. The entrance smelled of smoke, and the front desk was poorly lit and often unattended. At breakfast, a staff member spilled something on our table and didn’t clean it or apologise—leaving a mess on the chair and table. Service overall felt undertrained. WhatsApp responses were slow or absent, which was frustrating. The surrounding area looked rundown with neglected buildings, graffiti, and a derelict public pool. We stayed in better accommodation in Lisbon for less. Sadly, we wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Sehr gute Lage, direkt an der Promenade. Von dort kann man wunderbar Spaziergänge machen oder auch joggen. Schöne Wege durch die Dünen. Wir hatten eine Premium-Suite im 8. Stock mit seitlichem Meerblick und Balkon. Die Zimmer waren sehr zweckmäßig und etwas nüchtern...Keine Balkonstühle. Man kann aber jederzeit die Außen Liegen beim Indoor pool benutzen, wenn es der Wind dann zulässt. Klimatisierter Frühstücksraum mit Blick auf den Strand. Gute Auswahl an Käse und einigen Eierspeisen. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Mit dem Hotel waren wir sehr zufrieden. Allerdings hatten wir uns von einer Suite mehr versprochen.Kein Tisch im Zimmer, keine Stühle und Tisch auf dem Balkon. Das Zimmer war sehr lieblos gestaltet. Der Minikühlschrank stand auf der Erde, an den Wänden hing nicht ein Bild.Die Couch war durchgesessen, die Fernseher für eine teure Suite sehr klein.Die Getränke im Kühlschrank wurden auch nicht richtig kalt,ein Eisfach gab es nicht. Im zweiten Zimmer gab es nur eine Stehlampe die man hinter der Couch schalten musste.Türen und Fenster konnten nicht auf Kipp geöffnet werden, die Türen hatten von außen keine Griffe.Ein Highlight war das Bad,ein paar mehr Haken wären schön gewesen.
Mit dem Hotel waren wir sehr zufrieden. Allerdings hatten wir uns von einer Suite mehr versprochen.Kein Tisch im Zimmer, keine Stühle und Tisch auf dem Balkon. Das Zimmer war sehr lieblos gestaltet. Der Minikühlschrank stand auf der Erde, an den Wänden hing nicht ein Bild.Die Couch war durchgesessen, die Fernseher für eine teure Suite sehr klein.Die Getränke im Kühlschrank wurden auch nicht richtig kalt,ein Eisfach gab es nicht. Im zweiten Zimmer gab es nur eine Stehlampe die man hinter der Couch schalten musste.Türen und Fenster konnten nicht auf Kipp geöffnet werden, die Türen hatten von außen keine Griffe.Ein Highlight war das Bad,ein paar mehr Haken wären schön gewesen.

Die Matratzen waren für uns sehr schlecht. Zu hart . Man hat die Drahtfedern gespürt. Wir hatten dadurch keinen erholsamen Schlaf. Haben uns Wolldecken untergelegt, hat aber nicht so viel gebracht.

We were looking for an inexpensive stay by the water for one night. This worked well for that purpose. We saw a lot of trash around the property on the streets. The room was ok, staff excellent….in the middle of the night someone was drunk and got in a fight and because we had our windows open we were woke up and entertained by the yelling. We had a room facing the ocean with a balcony and that was excellent!

Overall a nice stay and the hotel has two main strengths: fantastic beach location and a pleasant small pool, gym and spa. However, the Wi-Fi is confined to the lobby area and the hotel also didn’t have an iron to provide. These are significant for business travelers.

Kamer wordt elke dag schoongemaakt. Vriendelijke personeels. Jammer dat we meermalen problemen hebben met kaartje van de kamer daardoor kunnen we onze kamer niet in. Na meermalen naar de receptie is het opgelost, wel vervelend dat het gebeurt. En we ervaren lekkage in de badkamer die veroorzaakt door boven verdieping vlak onze kamer. Hele badkamer blank door de lekkage midden in de nacht. Geen compensatie hier gehad. En spa voorziening is uitermate slecht, niet waard voor het geld van verblijft die we betalend.

Nice hotel in Espinho, great location, right next to the beach and lots of cafés and restaurant around. Hotel is good overall, excellent breakfast available. It's clean if a little dated in the decor. Key cards for the room frequently would not open the room door and had to be renewed at the front desk, a minor annoyance. Would stay here again for it's location.

The whole experience at the hotel was absolutely splendid and the highlight of the whole experience was his nice and curious the staff was, there was this French concierge that was an absolute godsend and helped us at every moment that we needed it. She was so nice and considerate when it came to the sleeping arrangements between my family and she even added an extra bed just so we could be more comfortable during our stay, overall the entire experience was a 100/10 time and we would absolutely come again. The service at this hotel was unmatched.

I had a good night sleep. The hotel is quite outdated (except for the bathroom) and the spa area was unfortunately closed for renovation.. The gym is very bad, just a room with poor equipment, but a room to work out in is still nice. It’s not close to anything of remark but the casino and the ocean. Friendly staff.

We stayed at Exe Praia Golfe as a family of four. The location is excellent—right by the beach and very close to Espinho rail station, which is well connected. The sea view, balcony, and pool access were nice. The main bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious for two adults and two kids. Reception staff were friendly and professional, and the TV and A/C worked well. However, the hotel is quite dated and needs attention. Peeling paint, worn furniture held together with glue, and lampshades with kids’ drawings left on them gave a neglected feel. The balcony was untidy, with no broom provided. Kids’ beds were awkwardly placed with dirty wheels sticking out, making movement difficult. The bathroom was tired, with chipped tiles and a wobbly shelf. The main door stuck and was hard to open. Great hotel with a very friendly, English speaking, staff (shout out to Rudolpho). Covered parking and great views of the ocean. Only 200m to a regional train station that allowed us to leave the car behind and take the train the 11km to Porto. (2 Euro each way). We highly recommend this hotel.

Sehr gute Lage, direkt an der Promenade. Von dort kann man wunderbar Spaziergänge machen oder auch joggen. Schöne Wege durch die Dünen. Wir hatten eine Premium-Suite im 8. Stock mit seitlichem Meerblick und Balkon. Die Zimmer waren sehr zweckmäßig und etwas nüchtern...Keine Balkonstühle. Man kann aber jederzeit die Außen Liegen beim Indoor pool benutzen, wenn es der Wind dann zulässt. Klimatisierter Frühstücksraum mit Blick auf den Strand. Gute Auswahl an Käse und einigen Eierspeisen. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

We stayed at Exe Praia Golfe as a family of four. The location is excellent—right by the beach and very close to Espinho rail station, which is well connected. The sea view, balcony, and pool access were nice. The main bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious for two adults and two kids. Reception staff were friendly and professional, and the TV and A/C worked well. However, the hotel is quite dated and needs attention. Peeling paint, worn furniture held together with glue, and lampshades with kids’ drawings left on them gave a neglected feel. The balcony was untidy, with no broom provided. Kids’ beds were awkwardly placed with dirty wheels sticking out, making movement difficult. The bathroom was tired, with chipped tiles and a wobbly shelf. The main door stuck and was hard to open. Cleanliness was lacking—the floor felt sticky and not recently mopped. Communal areas looked straight out of the 1980s. The entrance smelled of smoke, and the front desk was poorly lit and often unattended. At breakfast, a staff member spilled something on our table and didn’t clean it or apologise—leaving a mess on the chair and table. Service overall felt undertrained. WhatsApp responses were slow or absent, which was frustrating. The surrounding area looked rundown with neglected buildings, graffiti, and a derelict public pool. We stayed in better accommodation in Lisbon for less. Sadly, we wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Poolen var begränsad på grund av att man behövde betala för att ha på sig skydd för håret om man skulle bada. Den enda poolen var inomhus på våning 2. Gymmet som hade två maskiner varav en var sönder, var en besvikelse. Annars ett väldigt fint boende precis vid stranden, restauranger, små stånd med fotbollar och smycken, casino och annat.

So first impression on the room wasn’t to favorable. Had medication that needed to be refrigerated, could Not get the fridge open. Tried to call front desk, phone didn’t work. So we went back downstairs (after a very long delayed flight, we weren’t really in the mood ). So the front desk said nothing they could do but if it made us a feel better they had complaint’s before. Then the bartender Lily, came up and said let’s get this resolved. She went upstairs with us and pulled the fridge right out of its cabinet, which actually helped and it worked. We just had to live around it being in the middle of the floor. There was zero space for clothes, no dresser, undersized side tables. The shower had mold In the grout and edges. But the beds were clean and comfortable and we made do. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, same things everyday. The restaurant on the other hand was not good at all. Ordered two burgers that came raw. No one came back to check so we tried to eat them. Didn’t work. When person did come we were told that’s the way they are served. So we still were charged for $30 for something inedible. The pool was great, the fact you couldn’t use towels for the beach was a bummer. But the area is perfect and just a few hiccups. Like I said we managed. I would return but with a scrub brush for the tub walls.
