Hôtel vétuste et personnel agréable Sans charme particulier mais chambre refaite : le plus gros point négatif étant l’absence de climatisation , certes un ventilateur valberg à disposition mais lorsque l’on laisse la fenêtre entre ouverte , invasion d’insectes et moucherons

Bien et calme Hôtel en rénovation pour l’instant après mes deux séjours je n’ai pu en bénéficier….

Great hotel in a quiet location not far from the city centre 15mins walk. Just by the river nice walks and restaurants and guingettes around. Supermarket walking distance too. No Aircon though this is probably the only thing that was a negative for us as it was 35c outside. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Good parking although spaces are a little tight. Overall great stay would recommend if visiting Vichy

My recent stay at this hotel was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. Charging over €100 per night for accommodation of this quality is borderline unacceptable. At this price point, guests reasonably expect a modern baseline of cleanliness, comfort, and basic maintenance, but this property feels as though it has been frozen in time since the 1970s or 80s—and not in a charming, vintage way. The moment you step into the building, the outdated atmosphere becomes glaringly obvious. The interior decor, furniture, and overall aesthetic are ancient and worn out. The hallways are in a particularly sad state of disrepair; peeling wallpaper hangs off the walls, and the carpeting looks like it hasn’t been replaced in decades. It is clear that the management has not invested a single cent into renovating or even properly maintaining the property for many years. While retro design can sometimes be charming if executed well and kept clean, here it just feels neglected, dusty, and dilapidated. The rooms offer very little comfort, the amenities are obsolete, and the overall vibe is depressing rather than welcoming. Paying a three-figure sum for a room that lacks basic contemporary standards is a total rip-off. In summary, this hotel urgently needs a complete overhaul and top-to-bottom renovation before charging premium rates. As it stands, it is nowhere near worth €100 a night. I strongly advise prospective travelers to look elsewhere for decent value.
