Great location, lake access was perfect. Lots of kayaks/canoes/life jackets. Games room fantastic. Asked for a refill of propane for bbq and had it within minutes. Felt like we were in our own place with no owners but if we had any issues felt they would take care of it right away. Would higly recommend. Already looking at bookings for next year!

Liked the lake side setting with a beach area suitable for activities of watching the sun set. Had a good selection of watercraft available for guest use. The barbecue on the deck was a real plus giving a lot of flexibility in menu selection.

We liked the property a lot. It has beautiful sightseeing and cabins are clean, comfortable, well equiped and renovated. Huntsville is close enough to go and have a nice dinner. Hall has a lot of board games to have a good family time. Definitely it's worthwhile. Looking forward to go back

I liked the fact that every thing you need to relax during your stay is easily accessible in few foot steps . I especially liked bonfire, BBQ , kayak/canoeing, private beach, indoor games. One thing I would like to share feedback for improvement is the door mats are not big enough for a place that , as whenever we go out and come in lot of sand/mud comes in room, they could have big good absorbable mats at the door to avoid our room getting dusty quickly, we had to clean our room multiple times.

Quiet spot with awesome lake front area. The cabin was clean but the smell of pine-sol left behind was very strong.

We enjoyed the peacefulness of the property. The grounds were well taken care of..Our 4 legged baby had a wonderful time. The cabin Tumble Inn was very cozy, comfortable and clean.the trees and the lake are beautiful. Enjoyed the sunset as well.

Staff were excellent and quick to respond with questions . Very clean rooms. Beautiful view and plenty of water toys. Didn’t like the unit heater as it was quite loud. The room was very clean but the strong smell of pinesol dominated the first day. It gradually diminished .

Muskoka Waterfront Retreat 1091 Dwight Beach Rd, Dwight, ON P0A 1H0, Canada Urlaub an einem sehr schönen See. Tolle Lage und ende April sehr ruhig. Es gibt Holz für den Kamin und einen Gasgrill auf der Veranda. Es könnte nicht schöner sein. Über Expedia gebucht bei besten Bewertungen. Doch wie diese erreicht wurden ist mir rätselhaft. Bei einem Haus mit 2 Zimmern für bis zu 4 Personen (2 x Kingsizebetten) und einem Preis von über 200 Can$ pro Nacht habe ich in der Nebensaison mehr erwartet. Angefangen hat es mit der Reservierungsnachricht bei der Ankunft. "Sie haben 4 und 5 Nächte gebucht" - Nein, es waren 6 Nächte. Nachdem ich angekommen war und meine Reservierungsbestätigung noch einmal gemailt hatte, hat man sich entschuldigt. Trotzdem 60 Minuten Herzrasen. Habe ich ein Buchungsproblem? Die beiden Schlafräume sind so schmal, dass man die Betten verschieben muss um die Tür auf oder zu zu bekommen. Allerdings ist das Verschieben des Bettes nur auf Kosten des Zugangs zu einer Seite möglich. Der Boden im Hauptraum ist bogenförmig mit deutlichem Gefälle. Der Bezug der Bettdecke besteht aus 2 Bettlaken. Eines oberhalb und eines unterhalb. Wie ein Sandwich. Ein Bezug sieht anders aus. Der Boden hatte Flecken von einer zuckerhaltigen Flüssigkeit, der Tisch war sandig und der Backofen alles Andere als sauber. Für die Endreinigung, die nicht oder nicht gründlich gemacht wird, muss man extra zahlen. Ich kenne die Vorstellung anderer Gäste nicht, aber bei dem Preis in d

Th room was very clean. We did have problems with the heating our first night but the staff handled the problem quickly and gave us a new room. After they made several inquiries to make sure things were all good.

We made the reservation only 4.5 hours in advance on expedia and the property wasn't ready for us when we arrived. We had already had a long travel day (had to book this last minute when we blew a tire on the highway). We entered the room and it was dirty and clearly not cleaned after the last use. They came and cleaned it but left the floors soaking wet so we had to dry them ourselves with towels because it was gross. The air conditioner made a loud buzzer noise (think arena hockey buzzer) every few seconds so we couldn't use it which left our room damp and warm. We messaged the staff for help but no one responded. We finally got the AC running ourselves the next day but it still would do a loud buzzer noise every 20 min or so which was terrible with a napping toddler. We were in the lower unit so when the upper unit vacated and was being clean, staff were so loud , scrapping furniture across the floor and walking like elephants while our toddler was napping and then the AC was going off every so often- what a nightmare. Although we had those issues, dwight beach was amazing, very family friendly. We liked the proximity to huntsville as well for shopping and dining. There is a private beach with the resort but we preferred the public one. We would stay again, however, only if a full cottage was available. Not in one of the rooms with the kitchenette again due to upper neighbour noise.

If you are looking for a campsite athmosphere, and historic cabins, meaning old, badly maintained and small cabins (we stayed in Tumble Inn), then this is the place to stay. The surroundings are beautiful, the lake water is clear and brown (due to the woods) and hiking trails are easy to reach. Positive: after initial complaint, the friendly staff spent two hours to clean the cabin and the windows, which improved our stay a lot.

The property has had a DIY Reno without removing old rotten materials , bathroom makeover over old materials Thermostat has an out of order label.on it, fireplace does not work. Not adequate equipped for kitchen needs, We asked for additional basics like decent pillows , but didn't have the patience nor desire to ask about the rest as we were going to move on in a couple of days, if staying a week I would definitely would have made it an issue.

The stay was disappointing. Location is excellent, view is great, steps away from a beach on the lake, with canoe/kayak facilities. But, the cabin was nowhere worth the price. The cabin itself was quite small (very deceptive photos in the listing). The bathroom was uncomfortably small—there was barely any space to sit on the toilet without bumping knees against the sink. With no exhaust fan, everything stayed damp, and the flimsy bathmat only made the slippery floor worse. My wife was genuinely afraid of falling. Surprisingly, there were no mats at the main door or balcony entrance, which meant we couldn’t keep the floor clean after returning from the beach. Definitely expected better for the price, not value for money at all.

The cabin was nicely appointed and had a very comfortable bed. The lake view was stunning. Such a tranquil and beautiful place. Everything that was needed was there. An excellent place.

Staff were excellent and quick to respond with questions . Very clean rooms. Beautiful view and plenty of water toys. Didn’t like the unit heater as it was quite loud. The room was very clean but the strong smell of pinesol dominated the first day. It gradually diminished .

Property is pet friendly, staff were great they respond in a timely manner, we were so anxious for our cabin because of the previous reviews that it was smelly, but when we got there it was perfect, no smells at all. Great views of the lake in front, moorehaven cabin has sunroom with screen perfect for summer safe from mosqhito bites! Highly recommended.

We had a great weekend getaway, the lake is right across the cottage, it’s a breathtaking view and staff was friendly and all the instructions were very simple to follow. We had a great time and would love to visit again

Great location, lake access was perfect. Lots of kayaks/canoes/life jackets. Games room fantastic. Asked for a refill of propane for bbq and had it within minutes. Felt like we were in our own place with no owners but if we had any issues felt they would take care of it right away. Would higly recommend. Already looking at bookings for next year!

Muskoka Waterfront Retreat 1091 Dwight Beach Rd, Dwight, ON P0A 1H0, Canada Urlaub an einem sehr schönen See. Tolle Lage und ende April sehr ruhig. Es gibt Holz für den Kamin und einen Gasgrill auf der Veranda. Es könnte nicht schöner sein. Über Expedia gebucht bei besten Bewertungen. Doch wie diese erreicht wurden ist mir rätselhaft. Bei einem Haus mit 2 Zimmern für bis zu 4 Personen (2 x Kingsizebetten) und einem Preis von über 200 Can$ pro Nacht habe ich in der Nebensaison mehr erwartet. Angefangen hat es mit der Reservierungsnachricht bei der Ankunft. "Sie haben 4 und 5 Nächte gebucht" - Nein, es waren 6 Nächte. Nachdem ich angekommen war und meine Reservierungsbestätigung noch einmal gemailt hatte, hat man sich entschuldigt. Trotzdem 60 Minuten Herzrasen. Habe ich ein Buchungsproblem? Die beiden Schlafräume sind so schmal, dass man die Betten verschieben muss um die Tür auf oder zu zu bekommen. Allerdings ist das Verschieben des Bettes nur auf Kosten des Zugangs zu einer Seite möglich. Der Boden im Hauptraum ist bogenförmig mit deutlichem Gefälle. Der Bezug der Bettdecke besteht aus 2 Bettlaken. Eines oberhalb und eines unterhalb. Wie ein Sandwich. Ein Bezug sieht anders aus. Der Boden hatte Flecken von einer zuckerhaltigen Flüssigkeit, der Tisch war sandig und der Backofen alles Andere als sauber. Th room was very clean. We did have problems with the heating our first night but the staff handled the problem quickly and gave us a new room. After they made several inquiries to make sure things were all good.

We made the reservation only 4.5 hours in advance on expedia and the property wasn't ready for us when we arrived. We had already had a long travel day (had to book this last minute when we blew a tire on the highway). We entered the room and it was dirty and clearly not cleaned after the last use. They came and cleaned it but left the floors soaking wet so we had to dry them ourselves with towels because it was gross. The air conditioner made a loud buzzer noise (think arena hockey buzzer) every few seconds so we couldn't use it which left our room damp and warm. We messaged the staff for help but no one responded. We finally got the AC running ourselves the next day but it still would do a loud buzzer noise every 20 min or so which was terrible with a napping toddler. We were in the lower unit so when the upper unit vacated and was being clean, staff were so loud , scrapping furniture across the floor and walking like elephants while our toddler was napping and then the AC was going off every so often- what a nightmare. Although we had those issues, dwight beach was amazing, very family friendly. We liked the proximity to huntsville as well for shopping and dining. There is a private beach with the resort but we preferred the public one. We would stay again, however, only if a full cottage was available. Not in one of the rooms with the kitchenette again due to upper neighbour noise.

The stay was disappointing. Location is excellent, view is great, steps away from a beach on the lake, with canoe/kayak facilities. But, the cabin was nowhere worth the price. The cabin itself was quite small (very deceptive photos in the listing). The bathroom was uncomfortably small—there was barely any space to sit on the toilet without bumping knees against the sink. With no exhaust fan, everything stayed damp, and the flimsy bathmat only made the slippery floor worse. My wife was genuinely afraid of falling. Surprisingly, there were no mats at the main door or balcony entrance, which meant we couldn’t keep the floor clean after returning from the beach. Definitely expected better for the price, not value for money at all.

The location is great in between Huntsville and Algonquin Park. Very quiet area and a nice location near the lake. Comfortable accommodations with a small but nice kitchen area in the chalet units. The beds are very nice with great pillows.Wireless internet was fast and always worked. The grill on the patio was nice to have. Would definitely consider staying here again when visiting the area in the future.

Liked the lake side setting with a beach area suitable for activities of watching the sun set. Had a good selection of watercraft available for guest use. The barbecue on the deck was a real plus giving a lot of flexibility in menu selection.

I liked the fact that every thing you need to relax during your stay is easily accessible in few foot steps . I especially liked bonfire, BBQ , kayak/canoeing, private beach, indoor games. One thing I would like to share feedback for improvement is the door mats are not big enough for a place that , as whenever we go out and come in lot of sand/mud comes in room, they could have big good absorbable mats at the door to avoid our room getting dusty quickly, we had to clean our room multiple times.

Great location right on Lake of Bays, perfect for paddling on the Oxtongue River or swimming and paddle boarding off the dock. The dock offered a great dark sky to see the stars on comfy Muskoka Chairs. Also really appreciated the way the property is illuminated with sensors, helping you feel safe and able to navigate the property in the evenings. The cabin was simple, yet well stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend. The chairs, sofa and bed were all comfortable. Very clean inside. Felt the bathroom was a bit tight; however for 2 nights it wasn't an issue. Only request is for more prompt and personalized communication when asking a question. I sent the same question a few times while on property and received a templated response that was never followed up on. In the end, it was not important; however had it been this could have been an issue.

It is a lovely area with a beautiful lake but it is a bit of a walk down. Cleanliness, well the windows were dirty, spider webs on wall and dead mosquito. Very strong smell of pine sol. One window was missing a screen. Wanted to open them all to air it out. Just 2 of us and charged an extra $50 for my husband. And an extra $80 property fee. I sent them a message as to why they charged that with no reply. I tried to find out if there was ice. I never received an answer so phoned the # and they didn’t know. There was dish soap but no cloth to dry and no rack. There is a BBQ but no oven mitts. The lamp shade on the desk was almost destroyed, not very appealing, and not clean. The beds were very comfortable and sheets and pillows were great! For the price I was expecting more. The staff were very nice, they helped us build a fire since all the wood was wet. The extra fees should be made clear beforehand and a little TLC would make this a much more pleasant stay. Bonus was they had a keurig machine, so my coffee was delicious(brought my own k-cups but they do supply Kirkland brand). It was nice to sit on the dock in the muskoka chairs but they should have more. Only 4. Also check in is so late, 4pm and check out is 10am. Not much time if staying one night.

One window was missing a screen. Wanted to open them all to air it out. Just 2 of us and charged an extra $50 for my husband. And an extra $80 property fee. I sent them a message as to why they charged that with no reply. I tried to find out if there was ice. I never received an answer so phoned the # and they didn’t know. There was dish soap but no cloth to dry and no rack. There is a BBQ but no oven mitts. The lamp shade on the desk was almost destroyed, not very appealing, and not clean. The beds were very comfortable and sheets and pillows were great! For the price I was expecting more. The staff were very nice, they helped us build a fire since all the wood was wet. The extra fees should be made clear beforehand and a little TLC would make this a much more pleasant stay. Bonus was they had a keurig machine, so my coffee was delicious(brought my own k-cups but they do supply Kirkland brand). It was nice to sit on the dock in the muskoka chairs but they should have more. Only 4. Also check in is so late, 4pm and check out is 10am. Not much time if staying one night.

Pros - The cabin is nice and clean - the kitchen is well equipped - The area around the cabin is green and pleasant - free boats were a great bonus Cons: - the cabin is old - the bbq grill was in a bad shape, almost broken

A nice place to stay at however too many rules and restrictions. Hey Mr Supervisor people can take a day or two off work to rest at this cottage so be considered and stop making up rules such as no fire to vibe made and no one can go kayaking due to the heat !! It's ridiculous to think that you can control everything! We have stayed there twice and each time our vacation is ruined by either no fire or no kayaking which defeats the whole purpose of a vacation . We didn't want to go all the way there just to stay indoors o
