All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet set back from the Inn at the front. Plenty of parking, location much better than the website photograph suggests as it is set back from a quiet road with lots of trees and hedges.

Very nice hotel attached to the back of the pub, large car park all ok. Staff we friendly and breakfast was quite adequate as was the meal on Sunday night. We were staying overnight as we were going on to a canal boat holiday nearby. I would say it was excellent value for money and will certainly use Green King again. Thanks.

Pleasant and convenient hotel ton stay. Good bar with well priced pub grub. Bed was firm but ok, pillows were a bit hard and small. Could have done with two softer pillows as well for a 5 star. Loads of parking available. I would happily stay here again.

Quick check-in, clean and modern room, comfy beds, nice bathroom. In fact, the only thing that let it down was a shower that was more like a tap than a shower and low cold water pressure in the room. However, both of these were being looked at before we left, so hopefully they will be fixed before the next person stays. Still, a pleasant stay at a great price. Would I stay again? Yes, if the price was similar to what we paid. The added bonus of a connected pub and restaurant with reasonably priced food and a pool table (ideal when you have a 14 yr old boy with you) was ideal.

Doors being slamed by staff, invest in door closers, or teach them how to use the door. Staff welcoming each other like they have just found their long lost friend, respect where you greet each other, not outside people's room. Time and a place to talk about what you had for tea. Smoking outside hotel window, seriously?? Cheeky cigs, are not welcomed, especially when it fills my room, with the stench of cigarettes. Mouldy bathroom, lets maintain it, and not ignore it. Shower, it was like something from the 70's.

My room was clean and the facilities on offer were very good indeed. The only thing that detracted was the general condition of areas like the hallways which could do with general repairs, cleaning and redecorating.

We have stayed at The Chase before on a few occasions over the years and were delighted to see that Green King have taken it over and upgraded the rooms and en- suites. The staff were super friendly and we were delighted to meet Jane again who remembered us. Our room was clean and welcoming and the bed very comfortable. Nice touches with the ironing board etc which would be useful for longer stays. We shall definitely return on our next visit to Nuneaton.

We have stayed at The Chase before on a few occasions over the years and were delighted to see that Green King have taken it over and upgraded the rooms and en- suites. The staff were super friendly and we were delighted to meet Jane again who remembered us. Our room was clean and welcoming and the bed very comfortable. Staying in a hotel is a rare treat for me, but I was so impressed with the cosy, clean room when we arrived. Not a speck of dust anywhere, it was impeccable. Well done to the housekeeping team! We had everything we needed. Comfy beds, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a convenient ensuite. Thoroughly enjoyable stay in our twin room.

Easy check in although had to wait as staff were working in the bar area as well as the hotel. The room was clean and well equipped, the bed comfy but the bathroom was tiny with the smallest shower head I've ever seen that was definitely not a power shower

Booked for 2 nights, and after the first night, i had to request a change of room due to a generator going all night and a very noisy heating system early in the morning. This was dealt with very apologetically and a new ,quiet room given for our last night.

Have stayed several times but this time was disappointing. On arrival had to wait far too long for someone to come to reception to book us in. Room was ok but too hot. Turned radiator off but hot heating feed pipes ran all through the room and although boxed in it was like having a permanent radiator on. Shower hose was split. TV had no sound on BBC1 channel. Breakfast buffet was neglected. There was no bread of coffee. Had to ask for both. Booked a table for evening meal but when we arrived no table had been allocated for us. 40 minute wait. People in next room were very noisy, arguing from midnight right through till 6am. Not altogether hotels fault but it did highlight how thin the dividing walls were.

Great for a night’s stopover. Room was warm due to hot water coming through the large heating pipes that we had no control over. Radiator was completely off, but still a bit warm. Very comfy bed. Spacious room. Was surprised to see ironing board and iron in room. Breakfast was very nice indeed. Coffee not good though. All in all, served its purpose and would use again if in the area.

Everything ok but room on the ground floor was noisy. Had a pump or something outside. It kicked in at six in the morning and I found it difficult to sleep after that.

The room is well laid out albeit with a direct view of the bin store. Good points, comfy bed, bad points, peridot lights are on full tilt overnight and light crept in under the door. Heating system banging through the night. The adjacent restaurant is at best average serving a multitude of fried dishes mainly with chips. Cheap but very average food. Breakfast was a little over rated.

Large front pub / dining area, good selection of pub style food, well presented and cooked. The rooms are clean, spacious, well presented and the bed is very comfortable. Only criticism is that the shower was very noisy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location is an easy 15 minute stroll into the town centre. Overall a good find.

Comfy room, really clean and great value for money. Only problem was the door to the adjoining room offered no soundproofing so I was kept awake by the guests talking.

Booked for a local gig. Booked a room that we couldn't cancel, and the band cancelled the gig. Hotel didn't care, and we had to pay full £67 for a room we didn't use. Will never visit Nuneaton again. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff £67 and they didn't even have to change the bed.

Reception are really helpful and friendly. The bar staff ignored me as a female but were friendly once I got served. Food was good value and tasty. The room was chilly as the radiators didn't work and it was snowing outside, I couldn't face a bath/shower as it was too cold to get out again. The bed was hard for my taste but the pillows were comfortable and everything was clean and in good condition. There was a lot of noise including the extraction units and pipes as well as people noise.

Couldn't have been any nicer for our needs. From the minute we checked in with the lovely receptionist (sorry i didn't get her name), to the time we left the whole stay was amazing

Journey break, warm room, comfortable double bed / room, super electric shower, full English breakfast to order cooked to perfection with quality griddled bacon and sausages, cereals available, fresh fruit juices, teas, coffee etc. Friendly staff and efficient service. Would stay again.

The overall 1 night stay very good. Room was clean and tidy. Nice size everything good. Staff very friendly ideal stop off place only 30 minutes from NEC this reason for our stay. Breakfast was good and a good price fresh cooked not buffet.

All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet set back from the Inn at the front. Plenty of parking, location much better than the website photograph suggests as it is set back from a quiet road with lots of trees and hedges.

Quick check-in, clean and modern room, comfy beds, nice bathroom. In fact, the only thing that let it down was a shower that was more like a tap than a shower and low cold water pressure in the room. However, both of these were being looked at before we left, so hopefully they will be fixed before the next person stays. Still, a pleasant stay at a great price. Would I stay again? Yes, if the price was similar to what we paid. The added bonus of a connected pub and restaurant with reasonably priced food and a pool table (ideal when you have a 14 yr old boy with you) was ideal.

Large front pub / dining area, good selection of pub style food, well presented and cooked. The rooms are clean, spacious, well presented and the bed is very comfortable. Only criticism is that the shower was very noisy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location is an easy 15 minute stroll into the town centre. Overall a good find.

The hotel rooms were fine clean and comfortable more than happy for want we wanted. Breakfast was good. However we unfortunately had an evening meal which was so very poor in all areas would certainly not eat an evening meal again, but venture out

Very nice hotel attached to the back of the pub, large car park all ok. Staff we friendly and breakfast was quite adequate as was the meal on Sunday night. We were staying overnight as we were going on to a canal boat holiday nearby. I would say it was excellent value for money and will certainly use Green King again. Thanks.

Pleasant and convenient hotel ton stay. Good bar with well priced pub grub. Bed was firm but ok, pillows were a bit hard and small. Could have done with two softer pillows as well for a 5 star. Loads of parking available. I would happily stay here again.

Great for a night’s stopover. Room was warm due to hot water coming through the large heating pipes that we had no control over. Radiator was completely off, but still a bit warm. Very comfy bed. Spacious room. Was surprised to see ironing board and iron in room. Breakfast was very nice indeed. Coffee not good though. All in all, served its purpose and would use again if in the area.

The room is well laid out albeit with a direct view of the bin store. Good points, comfy bed, bad points, peridot lights are on full tilt overnight and light crept in under the door. Heating system banging through the night. The adjacent restaurant is at best average serving a multitude of fried dishes mainly with chips. Cheap but very average food. Breakfast was a little over rated.

The room was warm and welcoming however there was a large black hair in the sink. The restaurant and bar staff were lovely but we didn't enjoy our food in the restaurant. This could be due to the fact we booked in for 7pm not knowing that the kitchen closed at 8pm. If we had known we would have booked an earlier slot. Breakfast was wholesome and tasty.

Room was clean and tidy, my only criticism is the rooms need blackout curtains. I was staying in the summer and working late into the night/early mornings so needed to sleep in but the curtains were quite thin and on bright mornings it was difficult to sleep in. There is plenty of free parking, the staff were all very helpful and the breakfast was very nice and affordable. I would definitely stay again.

To start - we will re-book The issue - World cup table bookings. Eat now or no food. Fair enough if the pub was full - it wasn't - half deserted, and took a protest with the staff to be able to eat / finish and live before the game. The game itself - one of our travellers reported many many empty tables. If you book rooms - you need to have eating flexibility - not lock people into early eating - WITH ZERO communications at check in.
