Very convenient location, easy and free parking. The building looks dated (in a good way, with vintage feel) but the room was surprisingly modern, must have been renovated recently. Comfortable bed, quiet, we slept very well. The pool was nice, wish there was a jacuzzi. A bit surprised that the breakfast was "delivered" to the door but it worked out fine. The only thing is that they didn't give us enough coffee bags, I had to go get them from the front desk. No bar or restaurant onsite but very walkable area.

Our room was a good size. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Clean towels were provided by housekeeping each day. The pool was just outside our front door but didn't have time to use it! There was also a putting green, ping pong table, etc. The only thing that was missing was a rug in the bathroom, but we used the bathmat instead. The TV was Direct TV and had many channels to choose from. Our breakfast was delivered to us each morning and we had a refrigerator in the room, plus a coffee maker.

This hotel is charming. The facades look like a block of buildings in an imaginary Danish town. The pool is clean and deep. There is mini golf and cornhole. It's a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants in Solvang. They bring a simple breakfast to your room. The room is a good size with desk and chairs. Parking is easy. The rooms are set back from the street. I wasn't disturbed by any street noise during my stay. I would stay here again for sure.

The outside was really cute. Felt like a movie set. The inside not so much. We were upstairs and finding out room was a little difficult as theres no signs on the outside for the upstairs and the doors are hidden. The atairs were reaply narrow and short steps and creaked going up. Uncomfortable to walk them. Hotel a bit outdated. The shower and bsthroom reminded me of something from the 90s. Small shower. I wish it had a tub. The room smelled a little. Kind not bad but like the window's needed to be opened and aired out. The beds were really comfortable the pillows were decent. But not great. It was kinda cold and there were no extra blankets. Just a thin cold comfortable. Not enough towels and they wer rough. Not good lightening on the room and took several turns of the lamp to get it on or off. The pool looked bigger in the pics and we were told it was heated. But at 78° outside wr decided to swim and were freezing. Overall i was disappointed with my stay. I could have got a nicer hotel with better amenities for cheaper. But its not the worst either. Id give it 5/10 rating. Oh also didnt have a microwave which sucked. But at least it had a fridge

It was a cute place to stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom spacious. Breakfast was delivered to our room and it was a nice way to start the day. The Inn was close to everything in town and we definitely recommend to families. Pool (no jacuzzi) was clean and they had some outdoor playing areas with corn hole, a ping pong table, life size chess and mini golf. I would definitely consider coming back again!!!

Breakfast was a surprise and liked the fact that we could choose what we wanted to eat. The staff was most helpful especially the check-out person this morning. She was so cheerful that it made my day. Parking was plentiful and most convenient to the rooms.

Great stay, loved the breakfast they delivered to the room every morning, my pups loved the secret garden and I loved having an enclosed grassy area to have a safe space for them to enjoy and not a square of weeds. Room was clean. Super close to the car show we were attending in town and walkable to everything in town. Will stay here again next year.

This is below average hotel. They claim to offer breakfast, but what it really is - a few cold items get dropped off at your door at the specified time like in Covid times. The sink in the bathroom was completely clogged, not usable. The checkin person was rude, short, unwelcoming, and gives a terrible first impression. The only room offered was on the second floor and there is no elevator, keep it mind if you have kids, strollers, and heavy luggage. I would recommend this hotel although the location is great.

Customer service was wonderful! The front desk attendants were friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic, close to the Solvang city center. Our only complaint is with the cleanliness of the room. Most surfaces were clean, but the main floor was completely filthy. My toddler daughter walked around on the floor, and not less than an hour later her feet were nearly black.

The staff was courteous and professional. When we walked in, the room smelled like it had been cleaned. The bed was comfortable. Everything was really clean except for the floor. We wore socks, and those immediately got dirty. Despite the floor being dusty we would stay again.

We always enjoy our stay here. The staff is always helpful and goes the extra mile. We like to request a specific room for our dog’s comfort so this helps make our stay better. The room is clean with all the amenities needed. However, since the rooms are pet friendly a couple of carpet stains are in need of a good shampooing. It is the perfect location to walk to shops and restaurants, and hear live music from the room.

The room was spotless. It was completely clean. Staff was fantastic. My husband forgot his tablet n we got a call from the front dest. This was awesome n i would totally recommend people out there to trust ur hotel n good customer serice. We also got coffee n pastries delivered. Thank you so much. We will come again

Arrived early and got to a room quickly. Nice staff. Room is a bit dated but bed was super comfortable. AC worked well but ‘clunked’ a bit at times. Upstairs neighbors were noisy. Great location and danish delivered to our door was a very nice touch. Would stay here again but in a room upstairs.

Great location. Walking distance for shops and restaurants. Nice clean room and bathroom. No safe but we opted for no housekeeping as only a 2 night stay so no one came into the room. Small but adequate continental breakfast. Coffee in room. Nice pool area.

Royal Copenhagen Inn: Disappointing. Breakfast delivered to your room each morning? Sounds amazing, right? Pre-packaged, tasteless goods. Bakery across the street was a far better choice. The bed was uncomfortably lumpy, and the walls offered zero sound insulation. Every conversation from the room next door was crystal clear. Parking and location are the only saving graces, providing easy Solvang and winery access. Sadly, the comfort and quality fell far short of expectations.

I specifically asked not to give me a room with a tub as i have a bad knee - what did i get of course a tub and it was terrible ..... i was so upset He also said there were no 1st floor rooms, the other person said it was not correct and i got a room with a lot of walking - I guess I have to be visibly handicapped in order for this poace to take me seriously!
I specifically asked not to give me a room with a tub as i have a bad knee - what did i get of course a tub and it was terrible ..... i was so upset He also said there were no 1st floor rooms, the other person said it was not correct and i got a room with a lot of walking - I guess I have to be visibly handicapped in order for this poace to take me seriously!

The staff was courteous and professional. When we walked in, the room smelled like it had been cleaned. The bed was comfortable. Everything was really clean except for the floor. We wore socks, and those immediately got dirty. Despite the floor being dusty we would stay again.

This is a cute little place. Very clean, family friendly (pool, ping pong, mini golf, etc) and they bring a continental breakfast to your room in the morning. We left my son's favorite blanket in our room, they kindly held it for us until we returned a few days later. Very nice hotel, we would definitely stay here again.

The room was spotless. It was completely clean. Staff was fantastic. My husband forgot his tablet n we got a call from the front dest. This was awesome n i would totally recommend people out there to trust ur hotel n good customer serice. We also got coffee n pastries delivered. Thank you so much. We will come again

Breakfast was a surprise and liked the fact that we could choose what we wanted to eat. The staff was most helpful especially the check-out person this morning. She was so cheerful that it made my day. Parking was plentiful and most convenient to the rooms.

This is below average hotel. They claim to offer breakfast, but what it really is - a few cold items get dropped off at your door at the specified time like in Covid times. The sink in the bathroom was completely clogged, not usable. The checkin person was rude, short, unwelcoming, and gives a terrible first impression. The only room offered was on the second floor and there is no elevator, keep it mind if you have kids, strollers, and heavy luggage. I would recommend this hotel although the location is great.

This hotel is charming. The facades look like a block of buildings in an imaginary Danish town. The pool is clean and deep. There is mini golf and cornhole. It's a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants in Solvang. They bring a simple breakfast to your room. The room is a good size with desk and chairs. Parking is easy. The rooms are set back from the street. I wasn't disturbed by any street noise during my stay. I would stay here again for sure.

The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect! We appreciated that the continental breakfast was delivered to our room at the requested time, but we could have done without the canned OJ which didn't taste like OJ at all. Pastries were delicious! The kids we traveled with really liked the pool area and the adults enjoyed all of the outdoor games available in the pool area.

Nice property that is very well located in Slovang. The pool is nice as are the other amenities. The breakfast really is not a breakfast. It’s a box of food with limited choices. Personally I don’t eat plastic wrapped hard boiled eggs for breakfast. Don’t like that?, have a box of cereal with a can of very bad oj.

I liked the location on main street, and a room on the second floor that was clean and well furnished. I did not like like the breakfast that was catered to the room around 8:00 a.m. That was late and did not include coffee or eggs that were promised on registration. Many people left the hotel before they could receive their breakfast. we had no other options.

Great quiet place to stay. Easy walking distance to everything. Breakfast was surprisingly different. Continental breakfast wasn't in a communal room, but sent to your room every morning with your chosen choices at your chosen time. Very personal and unique.

Royal Copenhagen Inn: Disappointing. Breakfast delivered to your room each morning? Sounds amazing, right? Pre-packaged, tasteless goods. Bakery across the street was a far better choice. The bed was uncomfortably lumpy, and the walls offered zero sound insulation. Every conversation from the room next door was crystal clear. Parking and location are the only saving graces, providing easy Solvang and winery access. Sadly, the comfort and quality fell far short of expectations.

We were schedule to stay 2 nights, but it was so rough that we left after one night. This is a an old motel and so is its amenities. It needs a major upgrade as the rooms are old, At the nightly rate of ~$350 - $450 per night I expect more. I realize the inflation but this is not worth the price. The doors don't close easily inside the unit. The floor carpet way old and dirty. Continental Breakfast was delivered to the room in a small paper bag. Coffee in the room too much work to assemble the manual drip coffee pot (no machines). There was Coffee in the Office, but no major brand, tasted bad, and warm. Orange Juice was in a small can (not fresh nor real juice). Milk container was sour; with fruit loop cereal (not an adult choice of cereal). Hard boiled egg - cold individually wrapped (without any salt or pepper).
