This is a nice small motel. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The room I had was large, modern and clean, comfortable bed. There's a fridge in the room, and a TV. There are also laundry facilities that you can use for a charge. Easy walk to the rail station, several restaurants/pubs, and a Tesco.

This hotel was amazing! It’s been newly renovated and felt fresh, modern, and incredibly comfortable. Our room was spotless and surprisingly spacious for our family of four, which made a big difference. The showers were fantastic, and the towels were thick, soft, and luxurious which felt incredible after a long day of hiking. The location was also perfect, just around the corner from several great restaurants. On top of all that, the receptionist was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which really added to the overall experience. We’d definitely stay here again if we get the chance!

Good location at the end of Aviemore main street, with a pizza restaurant only 5 minutes walk away. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pleased with our stay.

Well maintained spacious rooms, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Quiet location but only 5mins walk from the start of Aviemore. This is my 3rd time staying here while visiting family.

Stayed in the hotel room 5. First impressions were very good the whole complex with the hotel, apartments and chalets looked really nice and well laid out. Check in was smooth and staff were friendly. Hotel consisted of about 20 rooms all on one level and I think most rooms faced the main road. PROS - large room Spotlessly clean Good sized fridge Powerfull shower CONS - firm bed Noisy plumbing Road noise ( not too bad from 11 - 6 ) Random noises ( some banging) probably Plumbing. Road noise didn’t disturb me too much and I’m a light sleeper but the bed stopped me from having a good nights sleep. It’s a shame as this would stop me coming back.

We really liked this hotel. The room was spacious and even had a couch. There was a hot water kettle and instant coffee provided (just two packets though). There was a fridge, a really nice bathroom set up and a comfortable bed. The ceilings were high and everything was immaculately clean. It was very convenient to Aviemore and Rothiemurchus, would definitely recommend!

Had a lovley stay, room was very clean and cosy, staff friendly, about a 15 minute walk to shops, bus stops and train station, close by was chip shop, and Italian restaurant at the entrance I would go back to Aviemore and stay there at the High Range Regards

The hotel is on the outer edge of town so it was nice and quiet. That said, about 1 mile gets you to the other side of town so not an issue. I was facing the main road with my windows open and it was not an issue. Very friendly check-in and out and the cleaning staff were very nice. There is an Italian restaurant next door and a fish n chip shop just down the road. Didn't go to either as I was tired but just in case. The gentleman at check-in said the fish n chip shop was good. Clean room, comfortable bed, and an actual shower!

High range hotel is not a fancy hotel, looks like a motel, but definitely checks the boxes...comfortable, clean, friendly, and a convenient location to explore from. Cute little cafe up the street, e-bike rentals up the street and nice paths for exploring. We had a pizza for dinner from the restaurant next door, thin crust, and it was quite good. We had an electric hybrid (they upgraded us) and there are charging stations at the hotel. I would highly recommend

High range hotel is not a fancy hotel, looks like a motel, but definitely checks the boxes...comfortable, clean, friendly, and a convenient location to explore from. Cute little cafe up the street, e-bike rentals up the street and nice paths for exploring. We had a pizza for dinner from the restaurant next door, thin crust, and it was quite good. We had an electric hybrid (they upgraded us) and there are charging stations at the hotel. I would highly recommend

This is a nice small motel. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The room I had was large, modern and clean, comfortable bed. There's a fridge in the room, and a TV. There are also laundry facilities that you can use for a charge. Easy walk to the rail station, several restaurants/pubs, and a Tesco.

Centrally located. You can explore the entire city center on foot. Without breakfast, if you want to leave early you have to look in Aviemore which coffee shop is open, unfortunately most of them only open at 09.00 am,

Although the High Range Hotel was just a one night stopover for us, we were very impressed and pleased with our choice. The check-in was quick and efficient, the room was immaculately clean and very well-equipped, and the whole complex was nicely presented with tidy, well-kept grounds and parking etc. Great value too! I'm not sure if the adjacent pizza restaurant is part of the High Range but we had 2 great take-away pizzas, and spent a short time having a beer there while we waited - great ambience and vibe.

The apartment was spotless. Felt brand new. Thoughtfully filled with everything you could need for a short stay Check in and out was effortless, team on the desk were very helpful. Plenty of car parking. Perfectly placed to enjoy Aviemore and surrounding area Would absolutely stay again

Superb little apartment that made for a great home from home for the three nights I was there on a business trip. Everything is done to such a high standard with lovely furniture, comfy bed, decent sized rooms and a well appointed kitchen. Will definitely return!

Felt safe with parking area well lit and off the road. Room was more than adequate size and reasonable internet speeds. If you want to eat at the adjoining pizza place make a booking especially for a weekend
