The value for money for this hotel is unmatched. For the prices paid, the amenities, room sizes, daily cleans, included breakfast, welcome drink, couldn't be met. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. We arrived after a long delay and 24hr reception meant it wasn't an issue, they helped booked taxis when needed and even sorted a ripped bank note. This isn't a 5* hotel but you're not paying 5* prices. We found it to be above basic and everything we needed our stay. Having a pool was great and we didnt see many hotels near Tirana with one. One thing and we knew when booking is that this resort is in the middle of nowhere. There is a shopping centre maybe 10min walk down the sides of the motorway but anything else you need a car. We knew this when booking so was fine for us. A taxi from the airport was €20/2000Lek and then around €10/15 to Tirana city depending on time of day and area. We also got a taxi to Durres and that was €30/35. Most places prefer cash or only take cash. We paid cash at the hotel for food and drinks. Worth getting Lek out at the aiport (loads of ATMs) and as it charges for withdrawal better to draw out a large amount.
