It is an older property but very well maintained. The bathroom sink & mirror could have been cleaned better. It is in a safe location and walkable to fast food, Starbucks, etc. I appreciated having a microwave & mini fridge. Having a coffee maker would have been great. Overall, it was just what I needed for an overnight stay.

Good check-in and very clean. The property is older and very modest. It is convenient for restaurant and gas. The coffee was not brewed and I had to wait for that to be available in the office.

This is a perfect place for a stopover on a road trip I make frequently. The staff are friendly, it is safe and always very clean. Right off the PA turnpike is very convenient and there are food options nearby. Very reasonable pet fee and rates are a good value. I’ve stayed 4 times in the past 4 months and will continue to do so on my trips.

The motel is older. But it was clean. Had microwave, fridge. Staff friendly. Affordable. Close to fast food. Gas station & store next door.

1 bed pushed up against the front window. Bathroom sink in the sleeping area. Toilet very low and wasn't attached to the floor, so it wobbled. Ice machine in basement by the front office, a dark and potentially dangerous spot. Beds were comfortable enough.

Beds were a bit to firm for me.. But that wouldn't stop me from staying again.. Room was clean and tidy.. Close to Turnpike.. Very close to plenty of restraunts.. Staff was very friendly and pleasant.. They allow pets and have smoking rooms.. Will definitely be staying there everytime I travel back there

This place looks like a throwback to the 1950s. While that could be a negative, it is not. The place has been fairly well maintained. The staff was friendly, the room clean, everything worked, and the bed was quite comfortable. All things considered, this place is one of those gems you will want to remember if you're in the area and need a place to stay.

This hotel has a couple of built in challenges: it’s right off the turnpike and it’s old, but the family that owns it has taken this place and made it an awesome place to stay! The man that checked us in was awesome…friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It is located right off a turnpike exit and that made it sooo convenient and easy to get to. Even though this place is old, it is well-kept. If you need and affordable place to stay, this is your place!

I thought at first that I was happy with our room, but I realized soon that one of the beds stank. It stank in every layer of blanket/sheets. Didn’t pull back all the layers because I was afraid I’d find mold or something on the mattress itself. We had to put a picnic blanket on top of the whole bed and use a car blanket for covers, and still felt like I had to wash my clothes the next day, since I’m very sensitive to mold.

Staff is polite and kind. Rooms are very clean, even under the beds. No mold or mildew in the bathrooms, and the rooms do not have any odors. Rates are excellent. I have stayed here 3 times and everytime i come to Sommerset I will again stay here. I highly recomend Budget Host Inn.

Right next to Turkey Hill and Dunkin-real nice to be able to have beer and coffee close by without having to drive to. Right in middle of town but walls are thick--don't hear much noise.

Everthing was clean. Bathroom is quite small and dated. Towels are thin but adequate. Bed was comfortable. Close to the turnpike so noisy, I ran the fan to provide white noise to sleep. None of the windows open (cranks have been removed) so the fan is the only way to get fresh air. This is an older inexpensive hotel, so pretty good all considering.

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. I liked the location, there are a few places that you can walk to, even restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beds are comfy but the place is a little outdated, but we didn't mind. It was a really good stay

I've stayed here many times, but this time was extremely noisy. I went there to relax and catch up on sleep, but that was impossible. Most of the noise is from the convenience store across the street, which I know, the motel has no control over, but I'll stay elsewhere next time, due to this issue.

I showed up and there was nobody at the counter to check me in. There was loud rap music playing in the room next to the office so when I yelled hello to see if anyone was as around it was useless. I left to get back in my car and called them, and they said they didn’t even have my reservation so I went to elsewhere.

Beds were a bit to firm for me.. But that wouldn't stop me from staying again.. Room was clean and tidy.. Close to Turnpike.. Very close to plenty of restraunts.. Staff was very friendly and pleasant.. They allow pets and have smoking rooms.. Will definitely be staying there everytime I travel back there

I've stayed here many times, but this time was extremely noisy. I went there to relax and catch up on sleep, but that was impossible. Most of the noise is from the convenience store across the street, which I know, the motel has no control over, but I'll stay elsewhere next time, due to this issue.

If one doesn't mind a step back into the '70's this is your place. I've stayed there several times. It's very clean, quiet and convenient. Can't beat the price.

It is an older property but very well maintained. The bathroom sink & mirror could have been cleaned better. It is in a safe location and walkable to fast food, Starbucks, etc. I appreciated having a microwave & mini fridge. Having a coffee maker would have been great. Overall, it was just what I needed for an overnight stay.

Good check-in and very clean. The property is older and very modest. It is convenient for restaurant and gas. The coffee was not brewed and I had to wait for that to be available in the office.

This hotel was a charming older style 2 story motel very well located to the highway and restaurants. It was very clean and well maintained. The owner was friendly. We could park right outside our hotel room and this made it easy to carry our luggage in on a rainy night. There is a diner next door and a nice restaurant across the street. We had a quiet, restful stay.

I have traveled for business and pleasure most of my life and unlike some other reviews I try my best not to allow "emotions" to prevent me from giving an objective review. My objective was price, location, cleanliness: I wanted the lowest price possible, location safe and accessible for my trip, not new but clean. All of these were met. Now this being said you cannot compare an apple to an orange...meaning, in my opinion, a review should reflect my parameters...which provided an older clean budget motel. The front desk women was completely welcoming and accommodating. I requested a quiet area and that the A/C worked. She handed me a key to the room and said: "please check to make sure this room works"... the room meet fully satisfied my request! The mini fridge was already turn on and cold, had a microwave, TV, ice machine [downstairs], and it was a bigger room than most hotels. I had a concern it might not be very quiet as it was right next to a busy street yet it was exceptionally quiet! Nothing outside woke me up nor did I hear anything from other rooms. The bathroom was small but very functional, with shower water pressure that was superb! Was the bed fancy, no, but I slept with no issues at all. Pillow are always an issue even at overpriced newer hotels, same here, which is why I bring my own pillows. I have absolutely no legitimate reason why I would not stay here again! Summit Restaurant next to motel best breakfast!
