Villa Renate by Sonne Villas

The villa is great and an ideal place to stay for families with children. It was quiet and out of the way without being too far from amenities. The pool was very clean and well maintained. We had a very good and enjoyable week which was not spoilt by the small number of - but irritating - flaws. Annoyingly the villa had not been checked properly before we entered - 2 of 3 parasols were broken, the cafetiere was broken, the small coffee machine did not work properly and several of the glasses were dirty. There was a notice telling us to remove rubbish daily because of ants but no indication of where to find bins. Not until the 3rd day did we find a long-handled brush to keep the floors clean. Also on the 3rd day we returned from the beach to find that someone had dumped a pile of clean towels on a sofa in the living area and had removed the used towels from the bathrooms. This was largely unnecessary and not in keeping with (yet) another notice telling us to think of the environment by minimising towel exchange. Finally, several of the patio chair backs were worn and they collapsed when leant against. We asked for a late checkout which was denied because ’the next guests were flying into Mahon in the morning’. But since guests are ot allowed in until 4pm we found this strange. We eventually were given a new coffee machine and one of the parasols was replaced. Joan was very obliging when contacted.

très joli extérieur bien entretenu / grande terrasse très agréable/ beaucoup d'espace au calme/ jolie vue dégagée pour électroménager : 2 frigos très bien / manque d'une grande cafetière / le fer à repasser est cassé / changer les verres / besoin d'un rafraichissement dans les chambres et salles de bain du bas.Informer qu'il y a un chenil à proximité de la maison.une des chambres a été envahies de fourmis.nous sommes globalement satisfait de la prestationcordialement
