Rooms were actually at least the one I was in practically brand new they had the air conditioner on it was nice and cold in there but they do not have an ice machine which was like a mile down the road. I have never ever been to a hotel that had no ice machine

Good size room & bed was comfortable. Aircon is great. Happy hubby as he was able to watch his golf live on tv. Happy with the shower pressure. Has a good strong hairdryer. Price is right, happy with. Has ice machine out front near office outside. Ample parking. Only downside would like a kettle to boil water for morning coffee instead of bringing own. Have stayed here before & will again.

This place was cheap. There were dead roaches everywhere which the hotel staff tried to say were “water bugs”….. which translates to roaches that came through the water and were in no way disguised as water bugs. The refrigerator was not clean and had something oozing from it. The beds were ok. There was no chain on the door. The toilet was dirty. There were not enough towels so we had to get more from the front desk.

Stayed for one night. Accidently reserved a smoking room but they were able to accommodate us into a non smoking which was so much better. Towels were thin, bathroom although clean had mold in the corner of bath tub. Other than that it was worth the money to stay for one night.

Although, the next day at 11:00 am was check out, the shower head needed to be replaced, the electrical sockets did not work so I had to charge my phones in another part of the suite from where the bedroom, TVs and desk were. I was extended an extra hour for check out to 12 noon.

It was a pretty basic hotel room. It was clean, sheets were clean, and towels were hotel quality. The staff was polite. Only "complaint" the TV was not a smart tv. 1st world problems. I was in the corner room closest to the highway so loud vehicles and emergency vehicles were loud. Over it was a nice place to lay my head for the night, price was excellent. Also has USB C output connection on lamp next to bed. I plan on making multiple trips to this area over the next year and i will return here.

I arrived early to see if I could check in early and the front desk staff was very rude. The rooms are subpar, the door latch was broken, the door would get stuck when trying to open it, one of the lights was broken, and the ac barely blew out cold air. What do you expect from a hole in the wall motel. I cancelled my reservation and went elsewhere. I only went there because they were cheap but some things you can’t cheap out on.

The staff was wonderful. I had to get additional keys because I would lock myself out. Management was patient and kind. The supervisor of the maid staff was kind, accommodating, and professional when I asked for cleaner towels and face cloths, and gave assurance about bed linens. My room could do with some minor repairs; security lock on my door was broken, broken tiles and dirty grout.

Wonderful stay. Nice rooms, clean comfortable bed. Walking distance to breakfast, gas station/convenience store and several other restaurants. 10 minute easy drive to CNU were went for sporting event. Only reason I didn’t rate excellent was the shower was a little sub par. Other than that highly recommend!

I've found my go-to spot for a relaxing few hours of smoking at this local hotel. The place is clean, the price is great, and the staff is kind and welcoming. The management is respectful and attentive, making sure my stay is always enjoyable. The location is convenient, adding to the overall positive experience. Also, a shoutout to S&A Deli in Newport News for those late-night cravings! Their hot food is available 24 hours, and it's a must-try. You're welcome for the tip! Stayed two nights in a row unexpectedly and got the same room twice. Was shocked to see that a smudge of chocolate ice cream was still on the bedsheet from the night before. Apparently, they do NOT always change the sheets in the room. Meaning, you could potentially be sleeping under the same covers as the last three guests to have that room. Kinda gross and what I thought was originally good for the price is beginning to show that you do get what you pay for. They also have a tendency to charge more than the set/advertised pricing. Unless of course you call them out on the additional $30 they add to your preset reservation... not sure I would recommend this location anymore. Being cheap/lazy in place of being clean does not seem like a business model I want to be a consumer of.

No excessive broken furniture other than damage on the doors and burn holes in the sheets (smoking rooms). Out of four to five stays, seen a roach once. Could use a little air freshener before settling into the room but smoke smell is anticipated. Nothing terribly negative to say. Nothing exceptional stands out either.

I will Never stay again, dirty bathroom, Roches, there was lots of yelling middle of the night from upstairs rooms. I got smoking room, even though I never smoke and never slept in smoking room. They promised me they will give me the room next day but nothing I had to stay all three days in smoking room. Bed sheet had blood in it. I got stuck because I Paid it.

The room was okay… probably won’t stay there again. The bed spread was full of holes(smoking room) and the AC unit was full of dirt or ashes. The AC didn’t blow cold air all night and it got pretty warm. Tv was the best amenity in the room. It was quiet and no problem sleeping or otherwise. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
