It’s ok for the price. Clean and comfortable. I just didn’t pay attention about the bathroom. There wasn’t shower in the room, so for 7 people was kinda hard. And there’s only 2 showers at the shared bathroom, what makes even harder. The fact of charging $7 for each bag to storage is terrible too. We’re already paying for the stay, why don’t we have the option of storage for free like in other places??

Would stay again, value for money. However no WiFI in room had to pay $5 per day. Very noisy at times at night, but this is Standrad for the city. The room was small for 4 people, shared bathroom only.

Middle of Manhattan. Had a kitchenette do could have home made breakfast . But please carry your towels and soaps if staying for a long duration

Shared bathroom was never a problem. The place was clean and comfortable, especially with the kitchenette area. The front desk was extremely communitive. Thr location is exception.

Shared bathroom was not what I expected. 2 showers and 2 toilets for an entire floor! Towels smelled awful! Check in was slow. “Decor” was hideous.

The location itself is amazing… But the communal bathroom only has two showers and one was broken. It’s like a beach shower where it’s on a timer and you have to push it every 15 seconds. Not only that but the AC does not work at all. There’s no trash cans or anything. And clearly no one knows how to be in this hotel because everywhere you walk it stinks.

We went as a girls trip we loved it this property was truly the nyc experience our rooms view was amazing we stayed in 623 we had 4 beds a kitchen and a bathroom it was clean and cute loft style our room did get super hot but it was a. Easy fix to turn off the three room heaters and open the window. We could see the Macy’s and the Empire State Building from our room. This is a place I will stay again the price and location where perfect. Staff was good luggage hold was 10 a bag not free but it was worth it. Easy access to the subway and about 10blocks from time square. The shower water doesn’t get very hot. Overall this was great. I will book again! It’s not a 5star hotel it’s an authentic New York loft!

It was very, very distressing, we were leaving to catch an international flight and we almost missed the flight because the elevator simply broke down with my husband, my in-laws and my brother-in-law, and THERE WAS NOBODY TO HELP ANYONE IN THE LOBBY, NOBODY SAW IT, I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, then a random employee appeared, all lost, poor thing, and tried to help us, it was horrible.

Noisy metal pipes, not sure what causes the sound, very loud in the morning. No shower stall in the room, except for toilet and sink. Had to go upstairs (a floor above) to use a shared shower stall. There are additional fees for in house services not included in the rental.

This property is a scam, they charge a low rate but then extract a 'deposit' that don't return under ridiculous pretext. The hotel maid dumped the contents of one trash bag in the middle of the room and took a photo of it, on the basis of which the hotel is not returning the $120 dollar deposit claiming that we did not leave the room in a sufficiently clean condition. That despite the fact that the facility is not clean to begin with - there are so many mice and giant cockroaches that a mouse crawled into a purse! Stay away!

There were cockroaches in the kitchen cabinets and no individual bathrooms for the room. Never returning here.

Worse place I have ever stayed. I paid almost 3k for a 3 night stay here and it was the worse experience I ever had . The towel were super dirty and sticky, the beds worse mattress I ever slept in my life the pillows completely flat . The room was dirty and loud . The bathroom is so tiny you can hardly move in it. Stay away. There is like 10 different hotels inside the same place check out is at 10:00am and check in at 4:00pm . Do not recommend this place to anyone .

Bathrooms dirty, TV did Not work Ceiling pipes too low, I hit my head with it. No towels available No room service while your stay When you asked front desk for help, nobody comes and help you.

The room and shared bathroom were clean and I was surprised to not hear noise from the street. There were some noise from other tenants, but not much.

The worse experience ever. Heater did it work, room was dirty, bedsheets were dirty and dusty and when you ask for them to change them they hang up on you or worse. It looks a lot like a scam, DO NOT STAY if dont want to gain a rash and a bad experience.

The rooms were super clean even the shower room isnt bad room and heat nice and warm cozy lowkey spot to get away will stay here again

There are not many things that shock me but how this place is allowed by Hotel.com to book people shocks me it is dirty trash left in bags on the halls with smelling food and the staff is not willing to help you in any way i think Hotel.com shouldn’t allow this hotel i just dont know what to say i have so many pics to show

There were cockroaches, it always smelled bad on our floor, rear elevator was unsafe.

The property wasn’t optimal, the smoke detector was disconnected, the room wasn’t the one we selected online

I was looking for a cheap clean place to stay and I believe that’s what I got, however, I was not prepared for the triple bunk bed. It was so tight and the room did not provide adequate seating (understandable since the room was tiny). A separate Dingle bed would have at least allowed for a place to sit. I didn’t make sense because you have this small kitchenette, and no where to sit. I feel the room should not have been advertised for 5-6 persons. It is clear that a maximum of 4 people and a small area for seating and a table would have been more comfortable.

If you’ve never been to jail and you stay here, you will get the jail experience. The rooms are small and there’s a bunk bed with no restroom or shower in the room. The shower has a button you have to keep pressing for the water to cut on because it cuts off every 15 seconds. Also, the bathroom is sketchy. There’s two bathrooms and two showers down the hall from your room. So you will need some shower slippers. People come in and out of the bathroom while you shower. Thank god there’s doors for the showers and bathrooms. The beds are uncomfortable and the blankets folded at the bottom of the beds are the exact ones a jail uses. They’re itchy and the “comforter” they have is literally a sheet. It smells like mothballs as soon as you get off the elevator. Most of the TV channels don’t work. On the bright side the AC worked good and it was located in the perfect spot nearby everything.

Stayed here with 2 other people, it’s small but the location is unmatched for the price, bathrooms and showers are shared but never was a problem for us. Some hidden fees upon arrival but nothing major. Very nice staff would stay here again!

I had a good stay. The Internet was horrible.

The main reason for choosing this accommodation was its convenient location, close to popular tourist destinations in Manhattan. However, I must mention some drawbacks. The room with a city view was plagued by noise from ongoing construction and incessant car honking, which became quite bothersome, especially at night. The bunk bed was also uncomfortable due to its limited headspace, making it impossible to sit upright. Additionally, the absence of a chair inside the room meant resorting to sitting on the floor. Furthermore, there was a lack of mirrors outside the room, with the only one being inside the bathroom. Considering these factors, I have decided not to book this place again in the future.

This was a nice dorm style room with a private bathroom. The tempting the room was impossible to regulate. I’m glad we were not here in the summer but overall nice accommodation.

Great location, very close to everything in midtown Manhattan and to transportation to anywhere you want to go. The room is very small and the shared bathroom is pretty inconvenient. I don't mind sharing the bathroom but the showers configuration makes it very uncomfortable

A simple chair in the room, even a folding chair would have been nice. I have a bad back and the only place to sit was on the bed which was uncomfortable.

I misplaced my key and the guy in the lobby was belligerent and threatening to assault me. He was refusing to help me saying there was no computer to check my room or invoice. I had to call the police for help. He continued lying to the police until they escorted me to my room. The manager gave me a key this morning after I pleaded for her assistance. Today I found the key and the lobby guy started another argument with me and threatened to “beat me up” outside. He rushed out front wanting me to follow him to fist fight but I refused and went to my room. He’s psychotic threat and behaves criminally. He should be stopped immediately from harassing anyone.

For the price, I can't complain. It is very cheap compared to other hotels near the area. The location is excellent, in the centre of Manhattan, close to Times Square, Madison Square Garden. Our room had a kitchen, plates, glasses, pots and a small fridge. What I didn't like was the treatment received from the receptionist. She was an african american woman who was very rude when I first arrived to ask about the price. Other than that everything was okay.

We paid for internet and it didn't reach the 10th floor. There was no TV remote. We asked for a remote and refund for the internet, but the host never reached out to us (I had called, texted, and sent message on this website, nothing). I asked daily at the lobby for a remote, refund for internet, and they kept telling me to ask the next morning and they would tell the owner. The next morning, the same thing. Finally, the lobby said he spoke to the owner, and she said there was a tv remote in the room, but it was hidden. He didn’t know where it was hidden. Why not put it on a table? The remote was not in the unit. I asked for new towels on the 3rd day there, lobby didn't give them. On the 4th day, I asked for towels again, they begrudgingly gave us 2 towels, even though we had 5 people in our room. We were there for 6 days and only received 2 new towels. There was no housekeeping, which is ok, but at least provide towels.There was a mouse and a mouse hole. Wedid not receive the room we requested when we booked. It had a different layout, it was 2 doubles and a twin, all in a triple bunk bed. The people sleeping on the bottom bed has about 2.5 ft to crawl in. The railing for the bunk bed was loose. There was mold in the shower. The stools were the same height as the table, so we ate sitting on the floor. The place is affordable and walking distance to Empire State Building and Times Square, but the customer service was horrendous. Be prepared to never hear back from the host.

No concern at all for the clients. They make story not to give back the deposit.

I stayed in the 4 bed room. With the amount paid for.. more photos would be great for the room they are letting you stay in. Kind od deceiving. No furniture at all. But that matter my family and i delt with. But what we all dislike is the the rudeness of the Receptionists. No help with any information, and definitely no patience with clients. I would pick a different place to stay if you are considering this plac?

The guy who works at front desk during the night it’s literally the best, great consumer service.

Check in is at 4; arrived 15:30 after a long flight, asked if it could check in earlier, and they came up with a bs story of not having the key, as the host had to come to drop them… I asked if we could do the paperwork so I could get to the room at 16h00, and they said it was not possible, as it was possible they might have to assign us to another room. I was left standing there, in front of the counter, suddenly, 10 past 16h00, without any host coming to drop any keys, the guy opened an envelope with my name, took out a key and began the paperwork, got into the room at 16:40, unnecessary delayed… The room is shabby; curtains hang in front of the a/c blocking it, no rack to dry dishes after washing, no cloth to dry them either. Wi-fi costs $5 per night, bought it first night and did not work, guy at lobby said the routers sometimes hang and need to be reset, but could not refund my money. Got the common / shared bathroom option because I did not read the description properly, no complains about that, my fault; but bathrooms are a mess, not even paper or dryer after you wash your hands. All in all, not worth the price, you can get better places for the same money.

It was a basic hotel, not many complaints about the stay or room itself. However, I was told that instead of automatically receiving my deposit back after checking out I would have to call back later to receive it. It's been nearly a month since staying and every time I call about it they tell me accounting is closed and to call back another time, with no specific time given before hanging up. I still have yet to get my $120 deposit back, and they have since my latest call told me they most likely don't have accounting records of my stay since it's been so long. I was visiting from out of country so I'm not sure what I can do legally about this for the experience of not getting my deposit back despite leaving the room clean and undamaged. Would never stay here again and recommend others just shell out more money for a reputable hotel.

The customer service at this hotel was unfortunately terrible. My friend and I had a bus that got delayed several hours because of bad weather and we missed the check-in time. We called the hotel and explained that we were going to arrive later than planned, and the lady on the phone was extremely unhelpful and rude. She kept saying in a mean tone that we would lose our booking for all our four nights (that we payed beforehand) because we could not show up on time, and also that she had other more important calls than ours. Then she ended the call while I was still talking. When we finally arrived, the people at the reception said that we would have to find somewhere else to stay. So we had to walk around for half a day in the city worrying if we could find any place to stay for the rest of our week, because it was difficult finding new accommodation in such a short notice. It’s all just frustrating, because we’re just two 19 year old girls that could not control that the bus was late.

The location is amazing. Surrounded by lots of great food and bars and sights to see.

There was nothing “wrong” with this property, it is simply a more affordable option in New York. You can walk to most of the tourist attractions easily from this location. The hotel entrance is hidden in the middle of multiple buildings, so carefully follow gps. In general, the hotel is clean. It is somewhat difficult to navigate to your room, so carefully follow the wall directions. The hallways had a very strong odor of food and spices…that was not pleasant. Thankfully, the smell did not drift into our room. The rooms are simple; really ideal for a quick stay. Nothing fancy and the amenities are very basic. The beds were ok; I’ve definitely slept on worse! The bedding smelled clean and fresh, and the pillows were decent. The front counter staff was very kind. He was happy to answer questions and gave good directions.

The hoy al was hard to find first of all. It’s only a small door on the side of a building. Secondly, I was surprised there was no bathroom in the room. So if you need to use the bathroom it’s a shared bathroom down the hall and it’s terrible when you need to take a shower and have to wait for other people to finish. There’s a night club next door so you can hear the music through out the night.

Room looked big in the pictures but very congested actually, they fitted the bunk bed just to make it for 6 people but the room was way smaller and smelly. No exhaust fire alarm goes off if you cook something. No extra garbage bags, no extra blankets. We stayed there for 3 nights with family and young kids. No breakfast even no parking. Do not recommend for family.
