Brookside Lodge - Gatlinburg - On the River

Brookside Lodge has potential to be a good little place to stay, its on the creek and the staff was very friendly and helpful but its needs a serious renovation. Our first room was a king we got in it, its so old with wood paneling very musky smelling, the bed was wore out the chair was broke and the door would not lock. We changed rooms all was left was a double queen it was some better but one bed frames was broke so we couldn’t use it. I did love the creek with the deck out back, That was peaceful listening to the creek

Love having the stream at the back of room. So peaceful and quiet. Away from the busy downtown but just a short trolley ride away. Perfect!

Older nice hotel, with a great staff!

The staff was very knowledgeable about the bears they made sure to tell us everything we needed to know to make sure the bears don't get in to anything.

It was just ok. Their facilities are very old.
