Chauncey Hotel and Conference Center

The free breakfast was great! Especially the omelette station. The property itself is on this sprawling green, quiet & peaceful campus for this educational testing company. I did eat at their bar/restaurant C bar. While tbey got the order out quickly & selection of menu items was good, the food - not impressive. I was delighted to have an ourdoor patio off my room on first floor, but the chairs out there seemed old, dirty & not sturdy. I was near elevator & ice machine so I worried about noise at night, but I had no issues, but I did have the fan on the a/c going all night… all in all, I would return!

The daytime staff was very friendly. The breakfast was outstanding. A 10 min drive from downtown, but worth it for the price.

Room is mostly clean, floor was not. Front office check in woman was friendly, one other i spoke to on phone was not. I was told to come get my own towels and coffee refill when i called for housekeeping. Woman was very rude. Breakfast was good and clean buffet and all staff at the buffet are friendly and helpful. We've stayed here numerous times and out of the convenience of the location we'll stay again in the future however if there were other hotels in same area i would choose somewhere else. Too bad because the place is nice and mostly clean just that one front desk staff woman has been rude e very time I've interacted with her. Tall, African American woman. Additionally the tub in our room was very slippery and no grab bars on the wall. I know is not a handicap room but that shower floor is dangerous and a slip hazard.

Great breakfast. Beautiful grounds and water fountains. Enjoyed the swimming pool. Would have been good to have a water cooler and coffee available during the day

Did not feel welcomed in spite of spending on an upscale room. Frankly speaking don’t even think I got what I paid for. The hotel had 10-12 guests in total and for the money they could have gotten me in to a better room. Instead got a room with view of a/c units. And my room’s a/c was the old style ( while I could see other rooms were upgraded). Room smelled weird. Breakfast was alright. The facility is screaming “remodel me”. Originally booked since it a very nice setting and outside the hotel it’s really nice too. Hard pass :(
