This property is so beautiful! Loved the bar and restaurant onsite. Easy check in and out process, loved the laidback feel of the place. We enjoyed the hot tub too which was very nice.

This location has unbeatable views, and the rooms are cozy and wonderful, check-in and check-out were remote, I felt indifferent about that. We knew we were going during the off-season but it was disappointing that the hot tub is not available during the winter. That was a deciding factor in us choosing this stay and it was sad to not have it. Again, be careful, not much to eat or do during the offseason (including the restaurant being closed) Not many activities here unless you snowmobile but we came here the day after my now fiancé proposed and it was a great stay. We would love to come back during the summer and see this place at it's prime.

They have a pool table and jacuzzi. It is a very unique property about 60-90 minutes from Old Faithful. The restaurant is great too! We had the Elk Shooters with Bison Short Ribs and Trout - AMAZING!!!

We didn’t have to deal with any staff as it was all done online as far as checking in. There was a huge spiderweb in our room by the back door. Overall the facilities were nice and we would stay here again.

The room was comfortable and clean. All wooden furniture. Never actually saw any staff but online contact was good. Easy access to get into the room. On the patient information sheet it warned you that the lodge is not soundproof but requested guests to be quiet after 10 pm. Could hear footsteps from the second floor, few noises next door but after 10 never heard anymore noise. The one door needed to have the lock fixed, texted them after leaving and thanked me for letting them know. Beautiful view of the river.

This is an older property that has been somewhat remodeled. It was very clean and had beautiful views from the back side of the room. It sits right on the river and you can sit on the back porch relaxing as you watch the water flow.

This was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. The door to the river/ deck would not lock, it had a 2 “ gap at the bottom of the door, we had to stuff a towel in it. The room had no lights when we arrived. After calling about the broken door and lights they came about 2 hours later to fix the lock and put in light bulbs, the shower curtain was yellow!! (It’s a white shower curtain) the room was dirty, we asked for the room to be cleaned the next day, they never showed up! The next day either, we had to go get towels and toiletries. For what they charged and for what they advertised was sooo outrageous, please save yourself the headache and your wallet.

It is a nice property located near the river. It has beautiful surroundings. Interior decor is unique and inviting. Room is clean and welcoming. The only set back is that the building is not sound proof so if you are looking for a quiet setting, this may not be for you. We stayed only for a few hours at night and left very early, so it is not easy to make a fair judgment.

Only FEET from the river and right off the highway. Only complaint was the mattress on the bed was not comfortable at all. First one on this week trip to feel bad on outperform backs. Both of us did not sleep well and complained in the morning. Too bad. Great location.

I loved this place! It is an older, rustic building with updated rooms and character. The room was clean and worked for our needs. We had a floor level room with immediate access to the river shore. The bed was too soft for me but my Mother and Husband had no issues. Check-in and out was easy. Customer service was fantastic.

We loved the hotel. We loved the convenience of the location. However, we did not love that the website was not updated to show that the restaurant was in fact closed. I am not blaming the hotel at all; it was like that for everything in the area. Once we got to West Yellowstone, it was the same situation. We booked it because of the restaurant and bar. But it is what it is there. We were told to check into one room, but once in we noticed that there were no towels. A quick text and we were off into another room. That was definitely not a deal breaker for us, and we loved the other room, too. The view...OMG the view is breathtaking and that alone is worth the stay there. The river is gorgeous, and the sunsets were out of this world. The hot tub was not full and stunk like ammonia, but we set it anyway! Nothing was going to keep us from having the time of our lives and making great memories. We will definitely be coming back. With a couple of tweaks on our end, we will have another great weekend!

Chose this property so we could fly fish right outside our door so the location is perfect! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t optimum and we didn’t hook any fish but we sure tried! We also missed the season for the restaurant so we didn’t get to try it but heard it’s really good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Dined on the patio and the scenery and staff were wonderful. The lodge allows pets on the dining patio. My husband had to unplug the refrigerator so he could sleep. It needs a little work.

Do not arrive after 8 pm! We arrived at 8:15 and were told the kitchen in the restaurant was closed. The website says they are open until 10. There was no restaurant in Alpine open. Even Subway said they had no bread. We ended up getting a cup of noodles at the truck stop. The room was so hot and the heater was off in our room. Problem with heating system. The breakfast consisted of some very dry bagels and some cold cereal. Way over priced. Do not stay in Alpine. Anton is much nicer.

I thought the setting was lovely and the remote check-in and out was seamless. I was really excited that the menu had vegan and vegetarian options!! Wahoo. The only negative was no real coffee in the morning, just a lousy little machine in the room.

Positives: Friendly staff; comfortable beds; was able to open window; nice restaurant; beautiful location. Negatives: Room had not been vacuumed before our arrival; very uncomfortable chairs in the room; outdoor furniture needs to be refurbished or replaced; poorly placed solid wood table by bathroom door - rammed leg into it in the dark; and the worst thing was a coffee maker on the bathroom countertop. NO one should use a coffee maker that is next to a toilet! The bathroom is undeniably the most germ infested room there is.

Angler’s Lodge was old and tired but was probably state of the art at one point. The room was large and had the pine log furniture that was apropos of a fishing lodge. There was a jacuzzi tub in the room which, again, so outdated. The carpet needed to be replaced desperately, felt and looked dirty. Our second floor room had a balcony that ran all along the second floor so there was no privacy between you and your neighbor if you were both sitting outside. One night our next door neighbor sat outside feet from our room and proceeded to SMOKE! Our window was open and immediately filled the room. One super bright side to this place is the attached restaurant. Limited but great menu. We had dinner there the first night and were so happy. The Snake River running right outside and a delicious meal.

Our stay was just ok. Very friendly staff but the entire place needs a makeover. Was not impressed with the restaurant. The menu was terrible and the furniture needs to be replaced. It’s a beautiful setting though on the river !
