Wir waren drei Tage, also zwei Nächte dort. Self Check-in wegen Personalmangel war in Ordnung. Personalmangel auch beim Frühstück. 1 Person für alle Gäste, das braucht Geduld von den Gästen und ist eine Zumutung für diejenige, die Dienst hat. Aber das Personal war trotz allem super freundlich. Top. Zimmer sauber. Super isolierte Fenster. Man hört nichts von draussen. Die Zimmer sind schön. Aber das Bad braucht eine kleine Überholung. Unser Waschbecken war abgeschossen, hatte Risse und Ecken ab. Die Lüftung war defekt und die Dusche überall mit Schwarzschimmel befallen. Lüftung und Dusche wird sicherlich gemacht. Haben wir nach der Abreise gemeldet. Frühstück gut. Nichts zu meckern. Lage bestens. 1 min. weg vom Parkhaus. Direkt in der Altstadt. Was will man mehr. Preis-Leistung gut. Würde es wieder buchen.

Der Aufenthalt im Stockalperhof war rundum zufriedenstellend. Parkhaus sofort um die Ecke, das Hotel mitten in der Fussgängerzone - sehr praktisch. Trotz dieser Umstände war es sehr ruhig. Personal sehr freundliche und die Abläufe scheinen ganz einfach zu sein und es funktioniert. Frühstücksbüffet klein aber mit allem was man braucht. Zimmer sauber und ruhig - bin rundum zufrieden.

Lovely spacious room, very helpful staff, tasty breakfast. Important to know you can NOT drive directly to this hotel and there is no parking at the hotel. The parking is a block away which is fine if you are pretty mobile with your luggage.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist das grosse Plus. Das Zimmer war zweckmässig und sauber. Die Sicht vom kleinen Bslkon zum Stockalperpalast war sehr schön. Enttäuschend dann der unansprechlich gestaltete Frühstücksraum und das sehr schlecht nachgefüllte Angebot und die nicht abgeräumten Tische. Eine einzige Person kann unmöglich alles selber schaffen!

WE loved this hotel, it was different. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, maybe the breakfast buffet was only so-so, but, dinner was wonderful. After staying at a hotel in Basel, we came to appreciate that what the Stockalperhoff offered, was small, personable and very enjoyable. Not fancy, but very clean. We give it 5 stars.

Tolles Hotel, perfekte Lage in Brig. Check-in unkompliziert, Infos via Whatsapp. Personal sehr freundlich. Auch das Restaurant ist top. Einen kleinen Abzug geb ich, weils im Zimmer nachts sehr warm war. Der Ventiltor musste die ganze Nacht laufen, was etwas störend war. Trotzdem kann ichs ohne Bedenken empfehlen.

Nice hotel in a good location with overpriced breakfast that we were only told was not included when charged upon check-out (no one was present at 4:30 pm on the day we checked in, and no one for 4 mornings at breakfast said it was not included and that our 2 coffees, toast and jam would cost more than $20 each). So, in other words, a scam.

This hotel is in a perfect location in the middle of town. Only a five minute walk from the train station and very convenient. Alicia at reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly. tried to cancel 7 days before the stay thru email, thru phone call, thru expedia agent. because of a visa denial. they said they talked with hotel to try to get cancellation. but when i called the hotel expedia never called or tryed nothing.

We were baffled by the self check in, as we arrived at around six pm. It was a bit tricky, as we needed a working phone, which we didn’t have, we DID get an email right before, but since it was either in French or German, and were from the US, we have no idea what it was telling us. Once in everything was great. Adorable town, room was as promised, excellent breakfast. Helpful desk staff…once they got there.

We were baffled by the self check in, as we arrived at around six pm. A very ordinary hotel, but perfectly adequate and conveniently located. Clean, and comfortable enough. Avoid getting a room at the rear (overlooking the bar) - we found it quite noisy, especially on the night they screened the UEFA Euro cup semifinals. Breakfast buffet was good, if a little pricy … but it is Switzerland to be fair.

A lovely boutique hotel, reception were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and had a little balcony. There is an Italian restaurant next door and you get 15% off. The hotel is in the old part of Brig and very charming.

Nice hotel in a good location with overpriced breakfast that we were only told was not included when charged upon check-out (no one was present at 4:30 pm on the day we checked in, and no one for 4 mornings at breakfast said it was not included and that our 2 coffees, toast and jam would cost more than $20 each). So, in other words, a scam.

This hotel is in a perfect location in the middle of town. Only a five minute walk from the train station and very convenient. Alicia at reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Also, the pizzeria adjacent to the hotel has very good food and hotel customers receive a discount! . An overall winner of a hotel

Der Aufenthalt im Stockalperhof war rundum zufriedenstellend. Parkhaus sofort um die Ecke, das Hotel mitten in der Fussgängerzone - sehr praktisch. Trotz dieser Umstände war es sehr ruhig. Personal sehr freundliche und die Abläufe scheinen ganz einfach zu sein und es funktioniert. Frühstücksbüffet klein aber mit allem was man braucht. Zimmer sauber und ruhig - bin rundum zufrieden.

Der Aufenthalt im Stockalperhof war rundum zufriedenstellend. Parkhaus sofort um die Ecke, das Hotel mitten in der Fussgängerzone - sehr praktisch. Trotz dieser Umstände war es sehr ruhig. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist das grosse Plus. Das Zimmer war zweckmässig und sauber. Die Sicht vom kleinen Bslkon zum Stockalperpalast war sehr schön. Enttäuschend dann der unansprechlich gestaltete Frühstücksraum und das sehr schlecht nachgefüllte Angebot und die nicht abgeräumten Tische. Eine einzige Person kann unmöglich alles selber schaffen!

Lovely spacious room, very helpful staff, tasty breakfast. Important to know you can NOT drive directly to this hotel and there is no parking at the hotel. The parking is a block away which is fine if you are pretty mobile with your luggage.

WE loved this hotel, it was different. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, maybe the breakfast buffet was only so-so, but, dinner was wonderful. After staying at a hotel in Basel, we came to appreciate that what the Stockalperhoff offered, was small, personable and very enjoyable. Not fancy, but very clean. We give it 5 stars.

The location of the hotel was great. 5 mins walk from station and right in the middle of the downtown area its excellent views of the downtown life from the balcony. The staff were friendly and good breakfast as well

The stay at Boutique Hotel Stockalperhof was an amazing experience, right from the reservation through Hotels.com to check‑in, stay, and check‑out. We checked in on a Sunday after 9 p.m., by which time the reception was closed, but the hotel had sent us detailed instructions through Hotels.com and directly on the main door code, and had our keys ready in an envelope on the front desk. The hotel has a lift, and the room was spacious for European standards with an amazing view of the mountains out of our balcony. Brig is an amazing small town in Switzerland nestled between mountains, with a cute town center featuring wonderful restaurants and ice cream shops. We were on an overnight halt on our way to Jungfraujoch. Wish we could have spent more time in the town.

Perfekte Lage neben Parkhaus und Stadtzentrum. Für Ausflüge im Wallis perfekter Ausgangspunkt. Schöne und mit viel Liebe dekorierte Zimmer. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Personal sehr freundlich, Hund war willkommen. Frühstück für jeden etwas dabei. Würde es wieder buchen.
