The property was as described in the listing and well maintained. We were given the impression that there was no daily housekeeping but were pleasantly surprised that our room was cleaned daily. The front desk was manned 24 hours and ever helpful even though not all of them were completely comfortable in English. Although the location was not central, we were able to get to wherever we wanted using Grab cars/tuk tuks. The nearby mall had a mid sized supermarket, several dining options and is a short walk away. The gym & infinity pool were nice facilities for a morning workout or a chilling afternoon. We enjoyed our stay at this property and would certainly return should we revisit Phnom Penh.

Nice kitchen, just needed more bowls, pots, and utensils. Rooms space are big, staffs friendly, hot water available. Pool and gym available at rooftops. Plus for parking lot, I was able to park my car inside the hotel parking space.

Great value. New construction (2023). Huge walk-in shower. Small swimming pool but nice 270 degree city view. Incredible strength training room — all brand new equipment as of July 2023. Kitchen in unit very convenient. Free tuk-tuk transportation to several malls is a nice plus.

We loved this place. It was in a local neighborhood with some fantastic small & very authentic restaurants close by. Also a local outdoor market just behind the hotel. The hotel also offers a free tuk tuk to nearby shopping centers, including a grocery store, Lucky Stores. The pool was wonderful, along with the steam room, sauna & gym. The staff was very responsive, helpful & friendly. I definitely recommend The Amata Residences!!! And the shower was fantastic!!!

I loved my stay at Amata Residence. To give some background, I’ve traveled throughout PP and SR, and I have to say that Amata Residence is one of the best hotels I’ve been to. Let’s get into it: Pros: - Extremely affordable compared to other hotels in PP. Comparing this hotel to others, this hotel not only gives more, but is also so much more cheaper. - Great location. TK is a bit far from the center of the city so you get your quiet, but it’s also a solid 10-20 minutes tuktuk ride into the city. In addition, the hotel is walking distance from a Metfone store (to buy and activate a SIM card) and an ABA bank to break down or exchange U.S dollars to Riels. The distance was about a 10-15 minute walk. I recommend going early in the morning to avoid the heat. The SIM card was also extremely easy to activate as the worker will do it for you. - So so clean. We had housekeeping every day around 9/10 am. I didn’t see a single bug or mosquito. Literally so perfect. The lobby also smelled so good everyday. - Huge rooms. We didn’t just get a room, we got a huge bathroom, a living room, a kitchen, and a washing machine too. What a deal! The kitchen came in handy when dealing with travel sickness. - Great amenities such as clean towels everyday, indoor slippers, 2 water bottles everyday, free tuktuk rides from the hotel to nearby shopping centers, and an airport pickup and dropoff. It was a one-night stay, but we did get the 7thfl with a great view and I did get a chance to enjoy the rooftop pool for an hour before anyone, it was peaceful and beautiful... Only wished we could have spent more time in PP... will book again when visiting Cambodia again, the front desk was so helpful for the arrangements of our rooms.

We loved the accomendation . Very clean and specious rooms. Fantastic gym, very nice roof top pool. The Staff was very nice . You can grab a cheap tuk tuk to go anywhere...

I recently stayed at AMATA residence from November 13th to 16th, and my experience was far from satisfactory. The most glaring issue was the dishonest tactics employed at check-out. 3 nights stay was booked and paid in advance and I felt the malicious employees tried to charge me extra bucks by pretending I took one of their bathrobe. It felt like a blatant attempt to squeeze extra money out of me, which left a sour taste in my mouth. Clearly the staff was trying to get money out of me. I was either a scripted scenario between the housekeeping staff and the girl at the reception to get some money and keep for themselves or it could also have been an unprofessional housekeeping staff who did not make sure every room inclusions were there i.e. maybe the customers before us took it, of maybe the staff forgot to bring it back in when preparing the room for my stay. With such dishonest behaviour, this certainly does not help make a good reputation for the place. No wonder why Cambodia is having way less tourists than other surrounding countries. Malicious fraudulent business practices of hotels like this contributes to the country's bad performance in tourism. The bathroom was another major letdown. plumbing was awfully done, with leaky faucets and a shower that barely functioned. Overall, my stay at Amata Residence was marred by these negative experiences. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

Excellent sejour. L'appartement et la residence etaient parfaits, propres, bien situés. L'hotel met a disposition un tuk tuk gratuit pour les trajets de 2km maximum ce qui facilite le sejour. Merci.

Un appartement hôtel, plutôt agréable, une belle surface. Des proportions un peu particulière, comme la douche qui est démesurée, avec une évacuation de l'eau peu efficace, du coup, la salle de bain se retrouve inondé assez facilement. Le seul vrai bémol, c'est la vue du séjour sur le parking à moins de 1 mètre. Le quartier n'est pas le plus agréable de Phnom Penh mais il y a de quoi faire pour manger.

Wonderful place. Having lived in Cambodia previously we found this to be a great place to stay in PP to rest from our flights before heading out to see “family“ and friends. If we were to stay in PP for months this would also be a great place to stay long term as it is set up as a small apartment with a western feel.

Un appartement hôtel, plutôt agréable, une belle surface. Des proportions un peu particulière, comme la douche qui est démesurée, avec une évacuation de l'eau peu efficace, du coup, la salle de bain se retrouve inondé assez facilement. Le seul vrai bémol, c'est la vue du séjour sur le parking à moins de 1 mètre. Le quartier n'est pas le plus agréable de Phnom Penh mais il y a de quoi faire pour manger.

Positive - very new - quiet area - great pool and gym Negative - we had bioked a 1 bedroom apartment for 3 persons and the booking confirmation stated 1 king and 1 sofa bed. However on arriving they told us that the sofa cannot be turned into a bed. Other rooms were not available. - they did not provide any dishwashing utensils, towels or liquid, no washing powder for the washing machine, not even.spare toilet paper

It was a one-night stay, but we did get the 7thfl with a great view and I did get a chance to enjoy the rooftop pool for an hour before anyone, it was peaceful and beautiful... Only wished we could have spent more time in PP... will book again when visiting Cambodia again, the front desk was so helpful for the arrangements of our rooms.

The best family friendly hotel in Cambodia. We booked airport pick up, our flight was delayed and there was no way of contacting the resort. However, when we got outside they were waiting for us with big smiles! When we finally got to the hotel, my 3 year old was asleep and instead of checking in, they let me go to the room first to let her sleep on the bed. As an exhausted mom who was traveling on a flight for 26 hours, this was the most kindest thing a person can do. We were in Cambodia for a family vacation of 20 people, we love the hotel so much that made all of our cousins book a room. We plan to stay at the same place next year, when we visit again.

I recently stayed at AMATA residence from November 13th to 16th, and my experience was far from satisfactory. The most glaring issue was the dishonest tactics employed at check-out. 3 nights stay was booked and paid in advance and I felt the malicious employees tried to charge me extra bucks by pretending I took one of their bathrobe. It felt like a blatant attempt to squeeze extra money out of me, which left a sour taste in my mouth. Clearly the staff was trying to get money out of me. I was either a scripted scenario between the housekeeping staff and the girl at the reception to get some money and keep for themselves or it could also have been an unprofessional housekeeping staff who did not make sure every room inclusions were there i.e. maybe the customers before us took it, of maybe the staff forgot to bring it back in when preparing the room for my stay. With such dishonest behaviour, this certainly does not help make a good reputation for the place. No wonder why Cambodia is having way less tourists than other surrounding countries. Malicious fraudulent business practices of hotels like this contributes to the country's bad performance in tourism. The bathroom was another major letdown. plumbing was awfully done, with leaky faucets and a shower that barely functioned. Overall, my stay at Amata Residence was marred by these negative experiences. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

The property is located near my family which was very convenient. Very walkable with lots to do in the area. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. This will be my first choice to stay for future trips. Highly recommended!

The property was as described in the listing and well maintained. We were given the impression that there was no daily housekeeping but were pleasantly surprised that our room was cleaned daily. The front desk was manned 24 hours and ever helpful even though not all of them were completely comfortable in English. Although the location was not central, we were able to get to wherever we wanted using Grab cars/tuk tuks. The nearby mall had a mid sized supermarket, several dining options and is a short walk away. The gym & infinity pool were nice facilities for a morning workout or a chilling afternoon. We enjoyed our stay at this property and would certainly return should we revisit Phnom Penh.

A great place to stay for a vacation ! Staff is friendly and could speak English. Place is clean and room is spacious. Everything you need is provided for : toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, towels, ironing board, iron, washing machine, hair dryer, etc. Just need to bring washing detergent if you plan to do some washing. Location is good too. Not far from the airport. There is a beautiful Samatha SPA nearby. Just next to Amata, there is a Temp cafe with great coffee and bread. The FunMall is less than 10 minutes walk from Amata where you can have breakfast or lunch /dinner at. There is a supermarket in FunMall too. Strongly recommended !

First of all, I want to thank the staff at the amata for keeping the place so perfectly clean, neat and pretty. I enjoyed my stay, but it would not be the best place for some family or someone who is eager to do many, many things. Although the place itself is perfect, the area around the place has little to do and is not convenient for walking or just going outside. So you have to take a a (very cheap) taxi or grab car to go almost anywhere. I will stay in a more central area next time, but if you are planning on staying long term, this would be an excellent place to be thanks again

We loved this place. It was in a local neighborhood with some fantastic small & very authentic restaurants close by. Also a local outdoor market just behind the hotel. The hotel also offers a free tuk tuk to nearby shopping centers, including a grocery store, Lucky Stores. The pool was wonderful, along with the steam room, sauna & gym. The staff was very responsive, helpful & friendly. I definitely recommend The Amata Residences!!! And the shower was fantastic!!!

I loved my stay at Amata Residence. To give some background, I’ve traveled throughout PP and SR, and I have to say that Amata Residence is one of the best hotels I’ve been to. Let’s get into it: Pros: - Extremely affordable compared to other hotels in PP. Comparing this hotel to others, this hotel not only gives more, but is also so much more cheaper. - Great location. TK is a bit far from the center of the city so you get your quiet, but it’s also a solid 10-20 minutes tuktuk ride into the city. In addition, the hotel is walking distance from a Metfone store (to buy and activate a SIM card) and an ABA bank to break down or exchange U.S dollars to Riels. The distance was about a 10-15 minute walk. I recommend going early in the morning to avoid the heat. The SIM card was also extremely easy to activate as the worker will do it for you. - So so clean. We had housekeeping every day around 9/10 am. I didn’t see a single bug or mosquito. Literally so perfect. The lobby also smelled so good everyday. - Huge rooms. We didn’t just get a room, we got a huge bathroom, a living room, a kitchen, and a washing machine too. What a deal! The kitchen came in handy when dealing with travel sickness. - Great amenities such as clean towels everyday, indoor slippers, 2 water bottles everyday, free tuktuk rides from the hotel to nearby shopping centers, and an airport pickup and dropoff. The Amata Residence is a great place to stay in Phenom Penh, but not a tourist destination in and of itself. Rooms are like a small efficiency apartment with basic kitchen facilities and everything you need to stay for a few days or months. There was nothing to see out the windows except another building. Having said that, there were lots of interesting places nearby and the market was a fascination in and of itself. I walked to the Neakvoan Pagoda, which was beautiful and fascinating. Overall, the room was comfortable, staff were helpful and the location is fine. My weekend stay there was great and I’d happily stay at the Amata Residence again.

Staff for check in and cleaning were very nice and had great service. Free tuk tuk rides to places closeby. Communication over text and email was a little slow though. Room, pool, sauna, gym and changerooms were very clean but the steam room was under maintenance. Not sure why the pool lights turned off at 9:30 pm but closed at 10pm.
Staff for check in and cleaning were very nice and had great service. Free tuk tuk rides to places closeby. Communication over text and email was a little slow though. Clean as could be, the gym, steam room , sauna and pool were excellent. Staff were great as well!! I shall return!
