We arrived later in the evening and appreciated the free parking. Very helpful reception and made it to the dining room just before closing. Food and service were excellent. Reserved a small double which was a bit small but ok for one night. Room was very warm. Hotel very well kept and nicely updated. Excellent location.

The hotel is in a good location and has been refurbished recently, the car park has plenty of spaces and we were happy to have our classic car in it, you just need to register the car when you check in. We had a room with a sea view nice and clean, the only thing that wasn't ideal was the shower was an extension from the bath taps and there was insufficient height. Lovely Terrace to enjoy drinks overlooking a garden area. We will use again when next in the area.

This is a beautiful Hotel and nicely situated opposite Southsea Common. We loved the decoration throughout the Hotel and our room was superb. We were visiting the Historic Dockyard (30mins walk) We had some discount from the Hotel for the Dockyard and free parking at the Hotel can make this Hotel a good choice. There are plenty of restaurants and old pubs within easy reach if you want to eat out in old Portsmouth. We had a lovely stay.

Some of the rooms are looking a little tired. We had two rooms, the wardrobe and hanging facilities were adequate but dated. The outside space next to the hotel was unsightly with rubbish…not the hotels fault but spoiled the view somewhat
