We stayed in the ground floor room (lots of stairs otherwise). For a house that is over 100 years old, it is certainly very nicely restored. Do not expect a hotel but rather an experience. The breakfast was great.

The Romantic Suite was very nice. Loved the jetted tub with candles. The full breakfast was delicious and filling. We really enjoyed getting to know the host and hostess and looking through the album of restoration of the mansion. Thanks

My daughter and I had a lovely overnight stay at the Weis Mansion. Our hosts were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They were able to accommodate my daughter ‘s food allergy for our breakfast, which was delicious. The bed was very comfortable and there was a refrigerator and microwave just outside our bedroom. There were tea and snacks for us to have anytime. We were in and out in one night on a car trip so we did not get a chance to explore Waterloo. The mansion itself is in an older part of town and some of the nearby buildings showed their age, but the neighborhood was quiet at night and we felt safe and secure. We parked on the street right outside the mansion and had no concerns.

My bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The bathroom was clean but dusty. Needed attention to detail for it to be excellent. Eg. the radiator was rusty. The toilet seat was a yellowing white, so even though it was probably clean it did not look clean. Another choice for breakfast would have been appreciated. I am allergic to eggs but there was no substitute

The Weiss house is beautiful! It is within easy walking distance of the downtown shops and eateries. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, we were not able to stay for the breakfast the next morning, so we cannot comment on that. Kelly and Chris were very accommodating and kudos to them for maintaining this beautiful old home.

This is a beautiful property. A better alternative to a hotel stay in the area. The owner provides a breakfast one would never receive at Motel 6 or the Hilton. She uses locally sourced ingredients and the results are amazing. Our room was beautiful and the linens were wonderful. The Weiss House will definitely be my first choice next year for UNI weekend. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! The live your family has put into the restoration of this historic home. We definitely felt the love! Shannon *traveled from San Diego*

My friend and I stayed one night because we were in town to compete in a game. The bnb was perfect! Kelly was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The mansion has so much character and history. I would 100% stay here again.

This is a beautiful property. A better alternative to a hotel stay in the area. The owner provides a breakfast one would never receive at Motel 6 or the Hilton. She uses locally sourced ingredients and the results are amazing. Our room was beautiful and the linens were wonderful. The Weiss House will definitely be my first choice next year for UNI weekend. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! The live your family has put into the restoration of this historic home. We definitely felt the love! Shannon *traveled from San Diego*

The Romantic Suite was very nice. Loved the jetted tub with candles. The full breakfast was delicious and filling. We really enjoyed getting to know the host and hostess and looking through the album of restoration of the mansion. Thanks

My bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The bathroom was clean but dusty. Needed attention to detail for it to be excellent. Eg. the radiator was rusty. The toilet seat was a yellowing white, so even though it was probably clean it did not look clean. Another choice for breakfast would have been appreciated. I am allergic to eggs but there was no substitute

The Weis Mansion is an amazing place to stay! It's beautifully maintained woodwork and generously-sized rooms are equally matched by the scrumptious breakfast and gracious hosts. It is well worth a return trip in the future.

The Weis Mansion was amazing! The hosts, Kelly and Chris, were very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Our room was clean and nicely furnished. Kelly thought of everything. Breakfasts were very yummy with french toast, souffle, homemade bread, yogurt, rhubarb jam... The hosts were very knowledgable about the area and gave us helpful tips. The historic Mansion had an interesting past and a terrific future.

We had such an amazing stay at this bed and breakfast! The food was absolutely delicious and homemade with so much care put into it. The family was incredibly friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Such a warm, relaxing experience — we can’t wait to come back!
