The seasonal pool was not working. Big disappointment. Breakfast was good!

Stayed here during STP 2025, so the most expensive day in the area. The property promised a pool which was non-existent - a huge disappointment. We found a city park nearby which had a small river access so we used that instead of the pool. The agent at check in also promised to open the breakfast area at 5am for all the bike riders who leave super early for STP but the breakfast area was closed at 5 and even at 5:30 - another big let down. The rooms were fine and beds were actually decently comfortable but for the huge marked up price we had to pay we expected at least the breakfast to be opened up early.

We’ve been on a road trip for a week and we booked this so we could do laundry, shower and reset before another week and a half of camping. The dryer was broken, but we didn’t know till after we washed our clothes. The floors in our room were sticky. It smells like smoke throughout the place even though it’s non smoking. It is also not pet friendly, unless your dog is a service animal.

It was odd that when we pulled the blankets back to go to bed, the fitted sheet was not on correctly. It was put on sideways so it was halfway on the bed since it was put on incorrectly. The bed had been made completely with fitted sheet undone! I had to pull off all the bedding and put the fitted sheet on properly myself before getting into bed. Either the maid was in a hurry or did not know how to put on a fitted sheet! Our room smelled like it had been smoked in, we are not smokers so we could really smell it. I went to front desk to let attendant know so we would not be charged a fee for smoking in room. We were offered another room, but opened window to air out the room and that worked out fine. But it was sure hot! Pool was closed on a hot day, told it was broken and could not be used, too bad since it was very hot the day we stayed. Staff was friendly though.

At my prepaid check-in I requested the use of a restroom as I was in dire need of one, but was told to go elsewhere if I needed to go before the check-in process was completed. Finished check in to my prepaid reservation and barely made it to the bathroom in time. The room we had was on the freeway/highway side, and the air conditioner fan was insufficient to cover the traffic noise. The blackout curtain was falling apart and clips were needed to darken the room from the exterior lighting. The freezer section of the fridge badly needed defrosting as it was almost completely filled with frost. The toilet seat cover was loose, too. Otherwise, everything else was quite good! The breakfast area included make-your-own waffles, cereal, bagels, etc. The bed was comfy, though a double instead of the advertised queen size. The pool was empty of water, too.

Safe, well lit parking. Good resturants near by (within 1/4 mile). Very friendly staff.

Well, I was supposed to have a jacuzzi bathtub.Didn't have that supposed to have a pool, didn't have that waste of money.The room should not be that expensive

Budget friendly older motel. Room seemed clean with a comfortable bed and decent shower. Good continental breakfast with selection of bagels, toast, cereal, muffins, yogurt and make your own waffles setup. The pool was drained. Okay for a night or 2. The good news is you can walk to Burgerville. Love their strawberry milkshakes!

Previous reviews noted that the place had improved with new ownership and that it was clean, so I decided to give it a try. However, I would not stay here again. Carpet was gross, shower curtain was pink with soap scum, bathroom garbage was not emptied from previous guests, and large water stain on ceiling made me question the durability. Walls are paper thin and we were woken up repeatedly by loud guests around us (and each time a room neighbor turned on their sink or flushed their toilet, we were treated to loud water gurgling noises...to the extent that I had to check to see if our toilet was overflowing!). The one redeeming factor was clean white sheets.

Two words - Bed Bugs! I killed 2 and brought them to front desk who didnt look surprised. Got new room but checked out next morning with refund. Dont stay here!

No complaints, we basically just slept there. Wrestling tournaments kept us busy the entire day. But it was easy to book, easy to pick key and sign at front desk (they were right on it) room was clean, it has small fridge and microwave which was convenient. Now the breakfast they offered could offer more. The parking was great, the staff very helpful and kind. I’ll stay again and recommend it for a really decent price and clean place to stay.

I initially booked for 4 nights based on reviews and pictures because I liked the price, but knew right away as soon as we pulled into the parking lot that there was no way i would stay there. We got checked in, got our keys (they were 2 solid white cards with no name of the hotel anywhere and were stuck into a sleeve that looked like it has been used for the whole year with stains and ready to fall apart, our room was on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator, so we hauled our luggage up dirty stairs to see what was waiting for us in the room. Outside our window was a police officer retrieving a luggage cart from a homelessness man that was camped at the entrance, my shoe got stuck to a stain that was on the carpet, there were yellow stains on the comforter, fruit flies flying around by the door and bathroom, and a hole had been punched on the backside of the bathroom door. We left for about an hour and came back to ask about their cancellation policy which i had to call expedia since the room was booked online. After calls were made, i didnt get a definite answer to whether or not i would be refunded any of my stay, but i didn't care and checked out and called the manager in the morning. The manager was good to work with and was able to get a partial refund (I was charged for the 1st night) even though we didn't touch anything and the front desk employee checked right before we left after checking out. Will not be booking there ever again! Dirty & unsafe!

The room was very clean and the facility well kept. A nice breakfast was provided and the dining area was also clean and well kept.

Just felt dirty. The floor in the room was very sticky and there was a small dog poop in the corner upon arrival...

Clean hotel

Property was disgusting however the staff were very friendly and cooperative. We had to change rooms three times. First one reeked of smoke. Second room was dirty, hair in the beds, stained sheets and mattress pad covered in blood stains, toenail clippings on the ground by side table, and a toilet that didn’t flush properly. Third room was cleaner but the shower rod was barely holding onto the wall, curtains broken so light could shine in.

I can see the work that was done to make the rooms "newer". However, the carpet needs replacing, and since the hotel is off a busy street and freeway, better windows to block out/muffle the sound. My room had a runny toilet, and there wasn't enough shower pressure. The bed was nice and comfy for me, not too firm or soft.

Water clogged on bathtub then got another room which had non functional AC. Then finally got a room with proper water drainage and working AC.

The room was adequate for what we needed, private and quiet. The air conditioning worked well and there was a mini fridge and microwave which was a nice surprise.

I checked in and out of the King Oscar in less than 5 minutes. I reserved the Cozy Inn on Expedia from the King Oscar, and walked over. The woman at the desk was nice, the hallway smelled incredible , the room was wonderfully clean, and the bed was the best bed I've ever slept on. Ever. (Please, if you can reply to this review, tell me the brand of this bed.) I absolutely will be coming back! The breakfast was nice.

Extremely disappointed across the board. Check in employee was rude and impatient, and got upset when I asked for an extra set of towels and shampoo/conditioner. At checkout, I was told that he couldn't check me out at 8:50 AM because management wasn't in yet. 4 hours later I got a notification from my credit card that I was being charged an additional $25. I called and was told we left a dirty towel and that's apparently a $25 fee (I've stayed in and worked for many hotels and motels, this is the first time I've ever heard of somewhere charging for dirty towels). I'll never stay again after the way I was treated.

We were given a room on I-5 side of property and it was near impossible to sleep. We asked and were given room on quiet side. We actually slept okay. At check in, staff charged credit card twice for incidentals and room charge despite us paying Expedia!! I spoke a second time at check out ; hotel needs WORK

Desk clerk locked the main entrance at 11:00pm (1 minute before I arrived) and refused to come back and let me in even though I had made a reservation through Expedia 2 hours earlier. Will never stay at thi

Great staff and reliable front desk person

I called ahead of time to ask for a ground floor room. Person I spoke to had very little English speaking skills or understanding. After a while, I thought he understood. When we checked in, first he gave us ground floor, then said there was damage to room and gave us an upstairs room. Didn’t want to insist, so took room. That room was freezing cold and we couldn’t get heat to work, so had to move to another room. This property, though not stated until check in, requires a $55 deposit for “incidentals”. They charged my card on top of nightly rate. There was a lady working front desk when we checked out and I expressed my feelings on that deposit and she refunded my card. Also, after 11 pm, the lobby is locked and closed until 7 am. If there is any problems after 11, there is no one available to help. We will never stay there again.

Checking into Cozy Inn was pretty straight forward after finding my reservation. Manager who searched for my reservation was polite and friendly. Finally got settled into the room and it was nicely made. Room was a decent size. Bed was comfy and it had a small fridge, tv, sofa, desk and bathroom. Hotel guests were extremely quiet and content. The free continental breakfast was decent, waffles, cereal, muffins etc. Would stay here again.

Limited desk hours, inquiy phone call resulted in a recording and never got a return call. Room very small, carpet worn badly with sewn on patches. Right on very noisy street and freeway just beyond. No way to block opened window on first floor. Bed had lovely clean spread and matching pillow shams but pillows in them had no pillow cases. Hard to sleep thru street noise from hot-rodding and yelling at times. This is in a terrible location and property is very run down.

I called before booking our room to ask if they allowed dogs. The lady told me yes and that there was a $25 pet fee. I agreed to the fee and proceeded with booking the room. I also put in the accommodations section that we were bringing a dog and needed a pet friendly room. My husband arrived at the hotel with our dog hours after I checked in and the guy at the front desk wouldn’t let him enter the building. The front desk worker didn’t care that I had asked for a pet friendly room in my reservation and told me the lady I talked to made a mistake. He didn’t care what consequences that had for my husband who arrived at 11pm at night with now nowhere to stay. After becoming very upset, he agreed to let him stay but only if I forfeited my entire deposit, regardless if the animal caused damages or not. We slept and left early the next morning. No damages from us or dog. Deposit kept. Hotel is gross and needs major updates.

I arrived late And had to carry my 30 pound suitcase up a flight of stairs, not something I want to do at 2 AM. The lack of safety and presence of homeless people was mentioned to me by the proprietor also not what I wanted to hear. I didn’t feel very safe.

I was there 15 minutes and my son and I felt unsafe. There appeared to be nefarious activity taking place on the edge of the parking lot and someone unloaded many rounds from a fire arm in the neighborhood nearby.... and thus we left in a hurry and could not get a refund....

There's a lot of road noise at thisocation. The motel can't control the road traffic of course but it was really hard to sleep. Motel is super easy to find. Easy access to gas station and convenience store.

It was a terrible experience staying at Cozy Inn. We came to a room with smelly pillows, a bathroom that was leaking and while someone came to fix it it didn’t really do anything to fix it - we had to use the external bathroom and then they locked it for the night leaving us without any bathroom access and we had to go to nearby restaurants for morning. There were spiders as well. Lastly the breakfast promised at 5:00 am.was delivered only at 7:45 am without any clear indication or apologies,
