I paid and reserved a non-smoking room at the Red Carpet. Was told there would be a free airport shuttle (there was) and free parking (not so). I arrived at 1:30 in the morning and was given a smoking room at the Motel 6 next door. The sheets on the one bed were stained and dirty. When I pushed the bed aside to retrieve a dime, it was obvious the room had not really been cleaned in quite some time. My sinuses clogged up from the stale cigarette smoke. When I wanted to address the issues in the morning, management was non-existent till noon, when I had to leave, after I was overcharged further for long-term parking. Have requested a full refund. Only wanted the room for the free parking and the shuttle to begin with.

The staff were helpful and the airport shuttle was convenient. However, the room was pretty rough. My door looked like it had been kicked in at some point, the bathroom faucet would not turn off unless you messed around with it for a minute or two, and the floor was sticky. We knew when we booked it, it was not going to be anything fancy, we were just looking to get a few hours sleep before an early flight. However, it was even a little rough for me. I know there are some other options in the area, and will be looking for those in the future.

Horrid. The shuttle never showed. I had to get a taxi to get yo thr hotel -- a 7 minute drive costing an extra $20. I got in at 12, called until 100, the clerk could not be heard and kept saying driver was in his way, and, then, after telling me to walk from terminal a to d, said they didn't know where I was. If it happens again, I'll stay elsewhere

It was just for a night of sleep after a concert but wow. Room smelled like cigarettes with burn holes in the bedspread. Flies in the room. No microwave or refrigerator and the ice machine was broken.

No one answer the phone they promise transportation after 6 calls have to get a taxi, at the arrival the person in reception did not ask for may name just said that I was in the wrong location when I said I have a reservation didn’t even ask my name till afer a few minutes he finally said what’s your name to Realize that I actually had reservations, terrible experience didn’t even had snack or coffee, what a waste of my money, will not recommend no one to stay in this hotel.

I use to use this place every 3 months when I traveled from Atlanta for business. However it has gone downhill terribly but the price has increased. That doesn’t make sense. The bath tub and towels were dirty, no more vending machines, laundry has been moved, nosey live in tenants, blankets have burn holes in them, the doors doesn't close tightly...so the outside lights shine through, the floor is sticky. They may have swept them but definitely didn’t moped them and my sink was clogged. No Refrigerator or Microwave...Just a mess

Wow. The property management team for this hotel should be ashamed. It was absolutely disgusting. Nearly none of the listen amenities were available (microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, restaurant, the list goes on). Filthy bathroom, floor, sheets, walls. Huge patches of mould in the shower. Smelled like weed, cigarettes, and pet urine. The staff was nice and helpful though. Airport shuttle was on time. I did not turn the lights off.

There was feces in the toilet along with a smoked cigarette butt that had clearly been smoked in the room because it stinks in here. There was also a dead cockroach on top of the heat/air exchange, and I believe some of the stains on the wall are blood… there was also hair on all of the pillows upon me inspecting the bed. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car if you have to, you would be better off.

Needed a bed from 10pm until 5am. Didn’t check the reviews. Very cheap, but spend more! It’s as bad as the reviews say. At 11.30 I was tempted to just go to the airport as everything was filthy. Cockroaches and noise. Just gross.

After a very long day and arriving past midnight dead tired, I entered a filthy dirty room. The fake flooring had not been swept or mopped in what looked like a year. There was dirt, debris, fuzz, and filth on the floor. The bath mat had 10 shades of dirt on it, and I didn't dare take a shower in the awful tub. I was very reluctant to sleep in the bed, but had no choice. When I fluffed the pillow, a black beetle fell out and crawled across the sheet. Disgusting. The outside of the hotel was dirty with a million shards of glass broken right in front of my room, and it didn't seem to matter to the hotel at all, as they just left it there. In addition, there were empty beer cans, trash, and debris in the parking lot. Do NOT stay here, unless you don't care about sleeping in a disgusting and filthy dirty room. An absolute crap hole. Don't let photos fool you, it is just gross, dirty, and a filthy hotel.

Although the room was outdated and there was no fridge or microwave I still was comfortable with my choice and decided to stay. Around 6 am I got up to use the bathroom and the entire bed collapsed on me! Literally one leg off the bed and scooted forwarded to place my other foot on the floor and the bed plummeted to the floor. Other than than that the customer service and privacy was great.
Although the room was outdated and there was no fridge or microwave I still was comfortable with my choice and decided to stay. Overnight stay for early departure at the airport. Room reeked of cigarette smoke, mold on the ceiling above window and black duct tape patching up bathroom door. Shuttle was very timely and staff were friendly enough.

The hotel is very close to the airport, and 20 mins to downtown. Unfortunely the room I was assigned had a very bad cigarette smell, it was dirt on the walls and also in the bathroom, the beds and very uncomfortably. Luckily it just one night stay. The place need lots of improvements and cleaning.

By far the worst stay I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been to MANY countries and remote places, but I’ve never had such a disgusting hotel room and such an absurd front desk experience. To be objective: I booked one room for four people. Upon arrival, I had to wait 40 minutes in line to check in. They gave me a room with only TWO towels and just THREE pillows. When I asked for the correct number (one for each guest), the incredibly rude receptionist said they didn’t provide “extra” towels and that there were no more pillows available in the hotel. He told me that if I wanted a different level of service, I should go stay at a Hilton or Marriott. I told him I would—if he refunded my money. He refused. When I said that was outrageous, he came out from behind the desk and aggressively walked toward me. If it weren’t for other guests in line taking my side, I fear I would’ve had to call the police. Anyone staying at this hotel is either unaware or out of their mind! Not to mention, the carpet at the room’s entrance was covered in mud and smelled awful. The bed was less comfortable than the floor. The bathroom had no ventilation, and the exhaust fan didn’t work. I spent the night wide awake, afraid the receptionist might do something to us. A real life awake nightmare!

Had to call 3 times for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport taking around an hour , when we arrived ,there was a very sketchy individual in the office having a conversation with the front desk attendant, she immediately left the office . Then we got to our room the room smelled so bad like cigarettes and mold absolutely disgusting . No trash can in the room stains on the towels stains all over the sheets not sure if they were clean or dirty , when we asked if we could change rooms we were told no more were available . So we asked about a refund so we could go somewhere else and we were told no because of the 24 hour cancelation policy , but this was a different situation. Then we asked if we could at the very least get clean sheets and towels and we were told no the housekeepers were gone for the day and front desk didn’t have access to them. We completely lost our money had to pay an Uber and find another place to stay! This place is nothing like the pictures online!! I would consider it a roach motel or something to that nature definitely not worth the price they are charging!! Nothing like the description or photos !!

So we asked about a refund so we could go somewhere else and we were told no because of the 24 hour cancelation policy , but this was a different situation. Then we asked if we could at the very least get clean sheets and towels and we were told no the housekeepers were gone for the day and front desk didn’t have access to them. We completely lost our money had to pay an Uber and find another place to stay! This place is nothing like the pictures online!! I would consider it a roach motel or something to that nature definitely not worth the price they are charging!! Nothing like the description or photos !!

Staff were not very nice when we first arrived. The woman was on the phone and just told me in a not too nice voice there is no early check-in, we have to come back after 3 and she just continued the phone conversation. We went back around 8PM, we got the key. The room was dirty and the floor was sticky. The towels were dirty. The bathroom wall was under construction. The bed hurt our backs terribly. We spent there only one night, but honestly when I saw the room I wanted to go in an other hotel. I don’t really recommend this place.

No one answer the phone they promise transportation after 6 calls have to get a taxi, at the arrival the person in reception did not ask for may name just said that I was in the wrong location when I said I have a reservation didn’t even ask my name till afer a few minutes he finally said what’s your name to Realize that I actually had reservations, terrible experience didn’t even had snack or coffee, what a waste of my money, will not recommend no one to stay in this hotel.

Customer service is terrible and what was promised is not what I got I was promised a non smoking room at Red Carpet Inn and when I got to Check in I was told that I’m being upgraded to a Motel 6 room and I was given a room that was stained with Cigarette Smoke it made me Nauseous and I couldn’t stay so I asked to speak with the Manager and I was told that he wasn’t available so I tossed the Keycard on the counter and walked away and I didn’t finish my planed stay so with all this said I would not recommend any body to stay there

First day it took the shuttle driver over 45 minutes to come get us from airport which was 10 min away. Rooms were old. A lot of shady people hanging outside. Not sure what was going on but I have ideas. No frig ,microwave, no clean towels, beds uncomfortable would not recommend

They only provided 1 towel for the room when I checked in for 2 guests. The place is surrounded by homeless people and addicts, totally not safe!

Good basic hotel and good value at the usual rate. Lowest in the area. Friendly staff but short on towels. Pet friendly. Lack of fridge or microwave was an issue. Long walk to any food or shopping if needed.

The bed was clean but the bathroom was not very desirable. Overall it wasn't terrible but not very nice either. Proximity to the airport was amazing and a quick drive!

The only plus to staying there was the convenience of having a 24 hr shuttle. The room was supposed to be nonsmoking but it smelled like an ashtray, plus there was a cigarette in the toilet. At 5:45am, while waiting for the shuttle back to the airport, we had someone drive up to us, get out of the car, and try to sell us drugs. Mind you, it was my husband, me, and my 10 year old daughter. I have never been so creeped out in my life. Definitely NOT worth $90. Stay in the airport!!

The hotel is very close to the airport, and 20 mins to downtown. Unfortunely the room I was assigned had a very bad cigarette smell, it was dirt on the walls and also in the bathroom, the beds and very uncomfortably. Luckily it just one night stay. The place need lots of improvements and cleaning.

Red carpet inn such a dirty hotel , Flies was in the rooms . We tried to check two time room . Any way they need to put clean sheets n pillow covers , was faded and no Amenities a s mention as mention in the website . Although they let us check in early . But was a very bad image. Only hotel shuttle was available from Airpot to Hotel but the old men driver was so rude was honking the horoon even we saw him , standing at the hotel entrance. After i made the reservations i called and spoke with a gentleman who told me they were across from the airport, that was untrue, i thought i would be able to get some shopping in. As you walked in the room it smelled of smoke (I requested non smoking) the towels need to be thrown out they were stained and i unusable. When i first checked in i asked if they were new i couldnt believe a place that has been around could be so niave to the goings on. i was on the ground floor and i found out as i was checking out that apparently work was being done above me all hours of the night and day, which was so disrespectful. Also believed i saw on their ad breakfast was provided, boy was i wrong, they mentioned that motel 6 you can get a cup of coffee, there depends on the time bcuz i havent drunk coffee in years and they had no tea i drank it, i also asked if there was somewhere to order breakfast the person had no idea and said no but i found a flyer and in the back of it sure enough breakfast was listed and found out the day before i checked out. Before i checked out there was a loud knock on the door asking if i was going or staying which i found rude as no one came to my room any other day. And the biggest turn off there was not even a refrigerator in the room i have never been in a hotel that didnt have a refrigerator. My experience overall with Red Carpet Inn Philadelphia Airport will not be seeing me again.

First I would like to say that I am very pleased with the availability of the shuttle, we were picked up within 20 mins or less from the time we came down. We got food from a bar Kelly’s Corner, which was in walking distance and I got the meatloaf with potatoes and broccoli and it was good and filling. Back to the room, it was clean to the eyes but it clearly needed deep cleaning. It was good for 1 night and for the Expedia price. I did not like the fact that the vending machine gave me a Diet Coke when I pressed the Mountain Dew button. I went to the service desk and all he said was that an outside company was in charge of it. But I get it. Also I saw 1 small roach which I was surprised I didn’t see more so that wasn’t a deal breaker. I hate bugs and after I saw that bug I was up u til 2am watching the walls and floor and I had to wake up at 8. Overall it was ok for the money and convenience and if I had to do another layover I probably would go there because the motel 6 I’m sure had the same situation going on.

Red Carpet and Motel 6 are virtually indistinguishable. Their airport shuttle says Motel 6 in red letters, so it went by 3 times, cuz I was looking for Red Carpet. Turns out, Red Carpet is taped with masking tape on the van window. At nitetime how am I supposed to see that? It looked like a primary school kid tried to spell it with tape. It is a run down structure. There was a door partially plastered next to the bathroom, no clothes hangers, iron. No coffee in the morning. TV service lacked MSNBC and other standard channels. I suppose for $70/nite this is what you get in the USA, and that is a shame.

Wow. The property management team for this hotel should be ashamed. It was absolutely disgusting. Nearly none of the listen amenities were available (microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, restaurant, the list goes on). Filthy bathroom, floor, sheets, walls. Huge patches of mould in the shower. Smelled like weed, cigarettes, and pet urine. The staff was nice and helpful though. Airport shuttle was on time. I did not turn the lights off.

OK, so I actually don’t even know where to start. I’m just gonna give a bullet list of everything that was wrong. The door had no safety latch. There was about a 2 inch gap underneath of the door. The hotel itself looked like it had not been cleaned since the day it opened. This includes the light fixtures, the floor, the dressers. Reeked of cigarettes and chemicals. There was no toilet seat. A hole in the wall covered with duct tape that led into the Next room or a dark abyss, I don’t know I wasn’t removing the duct tape. But finally, the baby roach I stepped on two minutes after turning on the bathroom lights and five seconds after walking through the door. All this to be said if you find any of this stuff, make sure you report it within an hour because if you don’t, you’re not gonna get a refund and it won’t even matter if you were in the hotel room for five minutes before you left for a concert didn’t get back until 1 AM when you decided to check out and sleep in your car. Just don’t you can find better.
