Wonderful lobby sitting area. neat features with boot warmers and bike rakes. Pool looked nice even though we didn't have time to swim. Comfortable bed!!!

VERY disappointed that the pool was closed for maintenance. My 4 year old was so excited to swim and one of the reasons we chose this location was the pool and it was closed. Definitely bummed.

Lots of common spaces with clever amenities like board games, crayons, coffee table books, plus a well-maintained indoor pool and rec room with air hockey and Wii games. My 11yo son and I were amazed by all the options for after-dinner entertainment after a full day of skiing. It exceeded our expectations. The beds were also super comfy, rooms surprisingly quiet given the LARGE number of young families also staying at the hotel, and simple but chic. And the coffee was hot, always available, and good with a full array of milks or creamers to accompany. It feels like every detail was considered. I would absolutely return.

This place was a pleasant surprise. Newly renovated with Scandinavian design themes, it had a great lounge/common area with games & a fireplace to relax in, plus 24hr coffee service. Easy Walk to the pub nextdoor for dinner. Pool was clean. Little hill behind it was perfect for sledding. Shuttle bus pick up to ski Sunapee (which is literally across the street).

This is a well kept hotel. Easy, quick check in, 2 minutes tops. Pleasant people and helpful. Fresh coffee all the time. Our room was clean, no issues. Plenty of hot water which is great after skiing. Oh-and the pool! Pretty nice temp to relax those muscles. And you can walk to a very, very good restaurant. Perfect stay for us again.

This is an incredibly modern yet appropriate regional decor!!! Amenities include handicapped accessible pool with lift! Again, the rooms are ultra modern— no frills, just wonderful necessities — ultra comfortable bed, big TV, modern shower. I believe that there is a commercial that says “only pay for what you need.” This is the place and it has ambience!!!!

Cheap enough but no breakfast, no exercise equipment.

Backyard games needed some new equipment.

We enjoyed everything about this hotel from the pool to the ample common space room to the 24-hour coffee/tea station to the adorable decor to the friendly staff. It has ALL the amenities we were hoping for and more.

Our third time stay here..always comfortable, nice pool, clean and laundry option. Best of all close to Sunapee state park and ski area !

Super easy self check-in, lovely and spacious, updated room and bathroom and very comfortable bed.

Had to get our room changed upon arrival as it was filthy. Floors had a BUILDUP of residue, there was dirt , hair, even nail clippings. It clearly hadn’t seen a vacuum in a year. The bathroom had hair clumps under the sink and on the shower floor. The smell when we walked into the room was truly insufferable and we waited outside until we got a new room. The new room had dirty floors but not as bad and everything else seemed decently clean . The air conditioning would turn off ever 30minutes and the room heated up to 77 degrees in the middle of the night. The walls are also paper thin and u can hear everything everywhere. I wore shoes every time I walked because the floor was just gross. The air conditioner also reeked of mold when I turned it on so that’s great! Absolutely wouldn’t stay here again even if I was stranded.

Last minute stay. Easy check in. The bed was so comfortable . Rooms were Clean. Common area was inviting. Would highly recommend!

Honestly, I’m not hard to please. My son was involved in a ski tournament @ Mt Sunapee so we were excited to spend time with other friends and teammates. I did really enjoy the rec room, the game room and pool @ the hotel.m; however, my room smelled like cat urine. It was so over powering that I mentioned it to the staff and they said, “sorry” and I was dismissed. The staff was always in a office space with the door closed. Their interaction with guests was extremely limited and it seemed as though they weren’t very motivated to be there. I asked again if there’s anything that could be done about the smell (which i didn’t request a pet room) and was handed some deodorizing aerosol can to spray my room. Really?!?!? That was the response I got. The weekend was truly about my son so I didn’t make a big deal, but so disappointed with the service and the price paid.

The hotel is listed as pet-friendly, but in my ground-floor room, my dog saw a chipmunk and birds in the bushes and was barking when I ran out for a few. I didn't realize that leaving a pet in the room was not allowed, and I've never traveled to a pet-friendly hotel before. Also, the room had a pungent odor by the entrance door. I couldn't tell where it was coming from but it was unpleasant. It got less unpleasant as I got used to it.

The moment you drive up to the hotel with the fun wood paneled porte-cochère and you walk into the wonderfully scented lobby (they must infuse a special "welcoming hotel" scent!), you just feel great about your choice of stay. There was a sweet young man helping us check in at 4 pm, and on a weekend you can expect lots of boisterous kids and their parents looking for a break and maybe not watching their kids so closely (pool and play room are supposed to close at 9, but two dads and a boy were playing ping pong (loudly yelling) until around 10:30 (if this will bother you try to request a room that isn't near the rec room). Everything was super clean, well appointed (modern shiny fixtures in the bathroom), although the water didn't get as hot as I like (I like very very hot showers). The nicest part is that the Mt. Sunapee shuttle bus picks up most days at 7:30, 8:30, and 9:30! Which is nice if you stress about parking (as I do).

Stay was ok. The vending machine for breakfast was broken which kinda stunk. Beds had hair in them and glasses were dusty but overall was a decent stay.

The hotel suited our purposes for a ski trip. I wish there was a hot tub on the premises. The only complaint I have is the walls are thin. We were woken up at 10:30 by kids running, yelling in the halls. That is no fault of the hotel, just the parents.

If you're skiing and Sunappe you can't get more convenient. Staff was nice enough and there's a restaurant outside the door in the same parking lot. However, my mattress was pretty uncomfortable. And worst of all, the heating system was loud as hell in the room. It would kick on, rumble for 5 minutes and then turn off. This happened every 20 minutes waking me up each time until I finally had to turn it off. It was cold in the morning.

Beautiful area, clean rooms, good service, great price, and a nice area. I love the minimalistic style, but the rooms could use a little more to them. There was a google review saying the rooms feel like prison cells, and while this is a little extreme, I can see where they’re coming from. While I understand the sentiment that less is more, it would feel a little more homely to have at least one item hanging on the walls in the rooms.

Very unique hotel with shuffle board, indoor pool, fire pit, kid’s play room, games and lots of albums and a record player in each room. Yet some basic conveniences were missing. There was only one chair in each room. There were no dressers or surfaces in to set keys or items on. I could not find an ice machine. My biggest complaint was that they wanted me to send a picture of my license and credit card to an unknown link to check in. This is not a good idea.

Loved the room, spacious, quiet, would definitely recommend a visit.Planning on a fall getaway.

Comfortable hotel with a retro vibe. Rooms are a bit sparse, but they are modern, clean, and fairly spacious. Rooms feature updated bathrooms, smart TV’s and super comfortable beds. This hotel is great value for the price. Highly recommend, would stay here again.

Room served our purpose, but you had to walk into a dark room to turn on the light switch near the bed. Would have liked more light.

Great trails to lake and about. Really good pub food next door. The big collection of vinyl albums and in room record player were a nice extra. Unique. Rooms have TV but are all but useless without your own streaming services. That was a surprise not encountered before, hopefully it a trend. Slept well and had good shower. We would stay again.

I called the property while I was on the road to inform them I was running late. I was told that there is a number to call at the front desk. I arrived an hour after the front desk closed. And called numerous times and no one answered to check me in. We had children with us and it made for a very difficult night

No staff!! The online check in was annoying, so many email messages but no help to do the on line check in. Older smart phone did not allow for taking picture of license and photo which was frustrating. Had to use someone else’s phone to complete the process. The pool was not very clean!

John was great! He was very attentive to our needs and questions, and was very positive! The sign in kiosk was a pain in the neck because the invoice said one amount and the pin pad said another amount that was 50$ more with no explanation. We absolutely loved the record player in the room! It was very romantic but also gave family vibes! We come up to New London a lot and this will be our new favorite place to stay!

The entire weekend no one was present at the property to help. The code locks were malfunctioning constantly for me and for other guests and we had no one to talk to either at the hotel or on the phone. Ridiculous, none of us really felt safe since the locks were sketchy at best

We don't care for the new style of check-in using a text and a digital code. It takes away the friendly, personal contact.

The staff are genuinely thrilled to chat with you and assist in anyway they can. So refreshing ❣️

No one was there! No front desk person, staff of any kind. Maybe some people like that experience, but I hated it. Please promote this to customers in the future.

This hotel was beautiful, clean with an awesome staff. We had an emergency at home and had to cut our trip short and they were so understanding and refunded the night without even being asked, now that is customer service.

Would have preferred a staffed front desk vs contactless check-in, etc.

I've been coming to this hotel to visit friends in the area for a few years and have always had a good stay, but recently it has come under new ownership. This review is for the new owners. I walked into this hotel I used to love and saw the there was now a tablet instead of front desk staff. There was a man in front of me who was trying to check in and he was unsuccessful and was calling for assistance. When I tried to check in it said that i did not have a reservation and I had to call a phone number for assitance and was put on hold immediately. Mind you, this is not late night, I am there at 3:45 pm! I finally get ahold of someone and get a room number and pin and told to fill out paperwork online to complete the check in process. I get to the room to try to unload my luggage and the key pad door code won't work and just stops lighting up all together essentially locking me out! A kind housekeeper was down the hall and was having issues with the door too. We waited about 10 minutes for the keypad to start working and she put in her code to reset it. Same issue trying to checkout too! The damn tablet is a piece of junk and I feel so bad for the housekeepers. The poor housekeepers had to deal with a loud beeping alarm ise that they had no idea how to handle and had to figure out while they were left alone! Another point is, this place needs front desk staff to provide security for the tenents and housekeeping staff. Anyone can walk in this place there is no security!

This was easily one of the cutest hotels I've ever stayed at. There is easy access to sunapee and a restaurant within walking distance. A truly hidden gem!

Very nice place, feels new and very well kept, right in the middle of the wood! Also very friendly staff! Would go again for sure! Just wish they had a place for breakfast.

Wish they had coffee rolls or muffins, in addition to available coffee or tea in lobby area.

We love the atmosphere the staff was so friendly it was clean, warm, inviting The only thing that was upsetting was that there was no breakfast food! However, even a toaster with bread and bagels would’ve been perfect.

We come to the area to visit with family and have stayed at this hotel each time. It is centrally located for us and provides a lobby where we can visit with local family members. It would be more convenient if there were provisions for breakfast because there are very few locations offering breakfast in the area.

Clean, details in the room set up Good coffee Air conditioner not too noisy, new We arrived late and troubles to open the front door with virtual key: ask for more Instructions , choose/switch from room key to front door key on the bottom menu, then it worked immediately.
