We requested a quiet room and the lady at the reception confirmed that the room will be nicely quiet. Unfortunately, this was far from the reality as the room was facing the intersection of two major streets, and the windows have very poor sound proofing. Also with the help of earplugs we were unable to sleep. Never had such a bad experience in any hotel worldwide. Room amenities were good, but with several defects here and there. Shower door didn’t close, so water went to the entire bathroom. Window blinds in the bathroom were broken. Some electricity plugs didn’t work. One plug was positioned in the bedside drawer, which you can only use if you leave the drawer open - not very clever… Filtered water was only provided on the first day, afterwards not anymore. Wouldn’t book Four Seasons again.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The Four Seasons Casa Medina is a beautiful historic property with superb staff and great food. The hotel is located in Zona G, perfect for walking to great restaurants and accessing unique stores. The rooms at the hotel while clean and sound proof with excellent showers, could use a little additional TLC due to usual wear and tear issues. The conversion to a hotel took place in 1988 and the last major renovation took place in 2015 when it opened as a Four Seasons.
